Book 1: Hellknight Hill
Breachill, Isger
1st Lamashan 4721

The town of Breachill is nestled in the foothills of the Five King Mountains in the wilds of eastern Isger, about 50 miles from the Druman border. Compared to the region’s other settlements, this small town is young—just shy of 170 years old. Breachill began with the humblest of origins, as a barely functional outpost of human amnesiacs, but the aid and mentorship of a much-revered powerful wizard led these shivering and dying unfortunates to found the hardy and thriving town that exists today.

Further Breachill information:
Many of Breachill’s 1,300 residents are humans who trace their ancestry to one of these original pioneers, leading to the townsfolk’s identity as people who persevere and are self-sufficient by birthright. As a result, the residents of Breachill are brave and community minded and Breachill’s citizens tend to play as hard as they work, so the town counts numerous taverns among its many businesses. Unlike the insular inhabitants of many Isgeri towns, they welcome people of all types. After all, the townspeople owe their existence to the benevolence of a powerful wizard and adventurer—Lamond Breachton—whose legacy is so beloved that it is almost a religion. Practically without exception, any harsh words spoken in town against Breachton are taken as a challenge to most residents’ honour.

Today is the day of the monthly Call for Heroes. The sun has cleared the peaks of the Five King Mountains in the distance and is starting to warm the crisp autumnal air. There is a very slight fog hanging over the top of Breachill this morning, just about covering the tops of the five tall water towers surrounding the Fountain Circle in the centre of town.

Since the Breachill Town Council has been holding monthly Calls for Heroes for decades, a fair number of local traditions have built up around the event. One of the most adhered to is the visit to the 'Wizard's Grace', a popular local tavern. It's a great place to scope out the competition, schmooze with prospective hirers, or simply just have a stiff drink over a hearty lunch to work up courage before going into the town hall. In times past, the Grace would be brimming with both adventurers and those in need of such, but in recent months, things have been rather quiet. At midday, today only finds a little over a baker's dozen people inside, and three of those are staff members. The rich smell of rosemary boar stew and lentils pervades the room, the traditional meal served before the Call for Heroes. Trinil Uskwold, the owner of the Grace doesn't seem to be in much of a rush today since it is not so busy and can be seen bringing out a plate or two of stew to serve to anyone who requests.

This is the time before anything official begins in 3 hours time. You may choose to be in the Wizard's Grace described above as part of its traditional feast before the Call for Heroes or anywhere else listed in the Breachill Players Guide in town. This is the opportunity to write yourself into your character, get to know the place and perhaps each other! If you need to know anything about any town NPCs or places, do let me know!

Age of Ashes

Breachill’s local government has a long and proud history of hiring adventurers to tackle any challenges its residents face that fall outside the scope of the town guard’s duties. The merchant whose expected shipment of goods hasn’t yet arrived, the shepherd whose herd of goats mysteriously died in the night, the farmer whose entire season’s harvest was ruined or stolen—investigating and resolving any of these matters are considered good jobs for adventurers, and so Breachill’s town council uses its resources to hire heroes as needed. These monthly meetings, known as the Call for Heroes, are distinct from the council’s normal regular governance meetings, a tactic that separates such matters from regular municipal business and shows the townspeople that the council indeed allots sufficient time to the issues that are often most important to them personally.

Spending public money on hiring adventurers to help the townspeople serves several purposes, as far as Breachill’s leadership is concerned. First, it provides the townspeople with an official and fully funded way to seek help when they’ve exhausted all other options. Second, it allows the salaried town guard to focus on run-of-the-mill crimes and mundane threats to the townspeople’s safety. And third, it provides experience to local adventurers—and allows the council to vet out-of-town heroes—whose presence and talents the council considers boons to the populace, harking back to the hero Lamond Breachton, Breachill’s original patron who saved the town’s founders.

Owing to its proximity to Breachill Town Hall, the Wizard’s Grace tavern is the favored establishment of many adventurers who wish to seek work from the council in the town’s monthly Call for Heroes. Here, adventurers and municipal workers regularly mingle, exchanging stories and generally enjoying the atmosphere created by the diverse clientele. In the days leading up to each council meeting, the tavern is particularly busy, as adventurers schmooze with town officials and even the occasional council member who might show up for a drink and a meal. Before each meeting, the inn’s tavern has a long-standing tradition of holding toasts and serving meals of boar stew with lentils—a practice owner Trinil Uskwold highly encourages, as her grandfather, himself a prominent local adventurer, loved eating that meal before embarking on his own many daring journeys. Because of the politics of socializing here, the crowd tends to be both well-mannered and chatty, though occasionally a brash adventurer or two gets rowdy.

The time has come for the monthly Call. Will you be chosen as Breachill's newest heroes?

This is a 6 book AP taking players from Levels 1 - 20.

About me:

>I'm in the GMT timezone and aim to post 4-8 times per week, depending on the players posts and my own irl schedule.
>I have fully read all 6 AP books and done the heavy lifting of the prep-work, note taking and community resource research already in my trusty onenote. This means that running the game shouldn't be too taxing as a lot of the hard work has been done already!
> I've GM'd PF1e a lot over the last decade, some of which has been pbp.
>I've played in a fair amount of pbp games both Pf1 and pf2e, with the good fortune of being able to finish some modules and an AP!
>I still consider myself a new-ish pf2e GM, so may make some GM rules mistakes. I am currently running the Fall of Plaguestone module to get my feet wet. The aim is for that to be finished in the Spring.
>I enjoy roleplay rather than just rollplay

Gameplay:

>Milestone levelling
>I will be "cutting" the filler encounters. They will still happen, but I will just describe them for your PCs, rather than go through the combat. I will keep the interesting encounters such as moral dilemmas and anything necessary for the story. This will give us a much better chance of finishing the AP in a good time and giving players the chance to focus on the roleplay and the story that matters. For example, I have pre-planned to "cut" 13 encounters from book 1.
>No need to track bulk for equipment or tiny payments such as a tankard of ale, just be sensible.
>All gameplay will be on the Paizo forum on a gameplay thread.
>Out of character discussion will be on a discord text channel (basically the same as a forum). I will send an invite to the selected party.
>I do not provide maps for every combat, only ones where it will enhance the game.
>I will provide loot but its up to the players to track whatever they have between them and figure out how you split it.
>After a party has been selected, I will ask all characters to have at least one connection to another character to aid roleplay opportunities. This is not needed before the party is selected.
>There will be downtime which will include some building opportunities.

Build Information:

>Official Paizo-only sources will be considered.
>Level 1 start.
>Ability scores - Please do not use the optional rule to trade 2 extra flaws for a boost.
>Ancestry: All Core/Common/Uncommon ancestries are fine. Rare will require a really obvious motivation to be considered. Common ancestries will generally have an easier time fitting in, but Breachill is a fairly inclusive place. The same counts for versatile heritages. The players guide recommends one of the 6 core ancestries which is a good recommendation based on story opportunities but not mandatory.
>Classes: All classes are allowed.
>Free Archetype: From L2 we will use the free archetype rule as it adds some nice extra flexibility for the players.
>Backgrounds/reason to be here: Background must be from the Age of Ashes Player's Guide. Being a local helps, but not required. If you are not local, you must have a reason for being in town with no plans to leave Breachill any time soon (see application below).
>Alignment: The Players Guide states "There isn’t any restriction on PC alignments in the Age of Ashes Adventure Path, although the fight against an impending doom and the push against a mysterious organization of slavers works best for non-evil PCs. As long as your PCs can get along and aren’t the type who want to raze and ruin the towns they visit instead of help the locals out (whether this is out of a sense of altruism and kindness or in the pursuit of fame and fortune), your PCs should fit in fine."
>They are going to need to be a team-player as AoA, like all APs relies on this to a certain extent. There can be many reasons for needing to work as a team - selfish or selfless.
>Religion: See spoiler.
Spoiler:
Any religion will be suitable however in Breachill but is not a particularly prominent part of daily life in Breachill; its residents are more focused on community and communal survival. However, there are pockets of faithful here. The most prominent religions are that of Cayden Cailean, Desna, Shelyn (popular among the town’s artisans and tradespeople; in fact, the town’s artisans’ guild doubles as a temple to the Eternal Rose). Far less common but still worth mentioning is the Church of Asmodeus- there is no Asmodean temple in Breachill and worshippers of the Dark Prince aren’t always trusted around town, but they’re accepted. In general, Breachill residents are welcoming to worshippers of any good- and neutral-aligned god. In fact, given the number of adventurers who pass through, there is a general laissez-faire attitude toward faiths of almost all stripes. Many residents don’t even mind adventurers who openly worship evil gods, so long as those adventurers don’t do anything to disturb the public peace. The town guard is known to casually shadow such adventurers, however, just to make sure they don’t cause trouble in public areas

Application:

> Level 1 character built to rules above.
>A short backstory/personality description containing who your PC is and their motivations for the Call to Heroes.
>Please ensure you have read the player's guide to help shape your character in Breachill.
>Before the Call for Heroes each month, there is a hand written questionnaire provided to each applicant that they must complete at least 5 days before. If you’d like to use this to help craft your background/motivation, then please feel welcome but this is not compulsory.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------- --------------------------------------------------------
Call for Heroes - A Questionnaire:
Please ensure your response is provided to the office of Greta Gardania of the Town Council at least 5 days prior to the Call for Heroes. If you have not submitted a response, we reserve the right to not select you for our process.
1. Full Name:

2. Age:

3. Gender (strike through as appropriate): Male, Female, Prefer not to Respond, Other (please state)

4. Place of Birth:

5. Current Residence and how to contact you (for payment purposes):

6. Faith (you may choose not to share this information):

7. Current employment (please state if not applicable):

8. Details of your next of kin and how to contact them (in case of emergency - adventuring is dangerous):

9. How did you first hear about the Call for Heroes?

10. Why should we select you to aid in our call? What are your greatest strengths?

11. Tell us about a time when you made a mistake. What did you do to solve it?

12. What do you like to do outside of your official responsibilities?

13. Is there anything else you would like us to know before the Call for Heroes?

I am looking for a party of 4. There is already 1 player (Nikolaus d'Shade as Orchid, a poppet cloistered cleric) who will post his character build and background below so please do look what he already has planned. Looking for a player group interested in roleplay who will make as much effort as I do to ensure their characters are invested in the town, NPCs and each other.

Deadline for applications: I will be selecting a party on New Years Day (1/1/23) 5pm GMT giving 10 days from now. The aim would be to get everyone talking between then about character links and the start of the game and I'm aiming to have the first post up on 5th January.

Part 1: A mysterious murder

It has been three days since you left Elidir, climbing into the back of one of Bort Bargith’s wagons bound for the faraway Andoran capital of Almas. The smiling caravan master cut your travel cost to only a handful of coppers, so long as you promised to protect the wagons should any trouble arise. Fortunately, your journey through the hinterlands of Isger has been quiet, even if the ride itself has been far from comfortable.

As you broke camp this morning, Bort announced you should arrive at the town of Etran’s Folly by nightfall, and he promised a comfortable bed for the night as a reward for a long day’s travel. The caravan’s teamsters shared a chuckle between them, trading knowing glances and subtle nods, but soon enough you are on the road towards Etran's Folly, the wagon bouncing and creaking along the uneven trail.

This part of Isger is sparsely populated and your passage is mostly through the wilderness with some small rural farms and isolated communities dotted along your path. It is a temperate land, with frequent light rains and the rich smell of damp earth wafting on the pleasant breeze.

The trail winds its way through the lowlands, passing along streams and through small forests. If pressed about their behavior after Bort’s announcement, the teamsters quietly explain that the accommodations in Etran’s Folly are hardly better than the ground outside, and the smell is even worse. Except for Glunda, they all refer to the town as “Plaguestone” due to the virulent plague that nearly wiped out the community 20 years ago, although none are so rude as to use that name in front of the locals.

One of Bort's Teamsters, mutters to himself, somewhat bitterly, loud enough for those in his wagon to hear. "Migh' as well just camp ou'side rather than pu' up with Plaguestone's beds t'night."

Information on Etran’s Folly for PCs who have been before:
Not even mentioned on most maps, the town of Etran’s Folly has seen better days. The town’s population (circa 300) has never fully recovered from a plague that struck almost 20 years ago, and many of the homes on the north side of town stand empty and abandoned. In spite of such hardships, the townsfolk carry on and are friendly to outsiders and travellers. Those who approach are sure to marvel at huge turnip fields surrounding the village, but should be wary of the turnip ale favored by the locals—it’s quite strong and it’s definitely an acquired taste.

Feel free to take a moment to talk and get to know each other.

I am looking for 2-3 more players who would like to join me in playing the Fall of Plaguestone Adventure.

There are already 2 players (Brainiac and Nikolaus D'Shade)

The Fall of Plaguestone tells the story of how a group of new adventurers traveling through the village of Etran's Folly—also known as Plaguestone—must come together to solve the murder of a friend while saving the town of Etran's Folly from a terrifying fate.

How the adventure begins:
The adventure begins with the PCs traveling to Etran’s Folly in the caravan of Bort Bargith, a dwarf merchant who agreed to take them on as passengers. The caravan is bound for the faraway capital of Andoran, Almas. The PCs are all passengers in this caravan, though if one of them has the teamster background, they might be working for it instead, driving the final wagon. They share the last wagon with the food, the camp chef Cooky, and a couple of other passengers. The travelers do not necessarily know each other at the start of the adventure, although some of them could be acquainted. None of them are particularly familiar with Bort, the caravan master, or any of the other teamsters.

I have GMd PF1E many a time and have played pf2e for a few years however have never GM'd it. This is my way of learning how to GM PF2E so please be patient with me and expect a few mistakes as I learn.

Engagement:
-This will be somewhat of a speed run of the adventure as I need to try and finish by April at the latest as I am GM-ing another adventure then.
-This is run on play by post for all game play on the paizo forums.
-Will use a discord channel for any ooc discussions rather than the paizo discussion thread.

Building a character:
-Level 1
-Common or uncommon Paizo content (found on Archives of Nethys). No rare ancestries etc (in order to make my life a little easier!).
-No guns please, haven't learned that one yet!
-We can use free archetype or ancestry paragon if the group chooses to, however assume not for now.
-Alignment: Non-Evil
-No need for a novel of a backstory as this is a short adventure, just an idea of who your character is.
-Please don't bother with tracking weight of equipment. Just dont be unreasonable.
-I won't be tracking xp but levelling up at appropriate times.

Aiming to start the game very shortly, so will finalize a group this weekend on Sunday morning GMT and get the first game post up then!

I have posted about this a long time ago, but thought I'd post again just in case someone picks it up this time.

The Europe/London timezone doesn't work on the message boards - I think it actually shows the west coast USA time zone instead.

For a considerable time now, (a year maybe? more?) posts have been showing up as being posted in a different timezone to my own (what I believe is probably Paizo's main timezone). I posted about it back then but was told it was just me however talking to a few other people on discord, it also seems to be true for them too. It used to be that posts showed up at your own timezone which was much more helpful.

Chapter 1 - Haunting of Harrowstone.

Last week Gaius received a telegram. It simply said:

Request you attend funeral of Petros Lorrimor *STOP* Last will and testament of the deceased requires your presence *STOP* meet seven days hence at dusk, intersection of ANCESTOR'S WALK and THE DREAMWAY, Restlands Cemetary, Ravengro, Ustalav. *STOP* Regards, Kendra Lorrimor.

------
Seven days hence at dusk.

The roar of the driving rain drowns out most other noise; water drips from your nose, and plasters your clothes to your body like an overzealous embrace. Spatters of mud mar everyone’s clothing after the lengthy journey from the Temple that held the service in town. And yet, despite the chill and the discomfort, you walk steadfast, following the carriage holding the coffin alongside a small handful of the locals, brought together by grief, friendship or some sense of duty to attend the funeral.

A Father and a pair of gravediggers are awaiting your arrival at the gates to the Restlands, a woman leads up front, who you know, from the service is Kendra Lorrimor, Petros' daughter. There are only seven other somber people in attendance. A red-headed woman huddled in a cloack, who you recognise but cannot yet place a finger on from where, two men wearing Councilman robes, another man and his teenage son as well as a pretty young woman.

The Father raises his voice above the rain. "We have ensured that the grave site is ready and as is custom, we will not be joining you beyond these gates, it is solely for the bereaved to enter now." He says, gesturing at himself and the two gravediggers. Continuing, he says "Who amongst you would like to take the responsibility of pall-bearer?" He looks around, but not many people jump at the opportunity, shivering in the rain. "We are looking for four strong people to respectfully carry Petros Lorrimor to his resting site."

Hello all!

Welcome to the Mummy's Mask! Theres a mix of roleplayers among us, but I am sure we will all get along famously.

Please do discuss among yourselves

a)Who you are/any alterations you want to make to your characters now selected to balance out the party.

b)How you are all connected to be able to join the lottery to adventure into the necropolis together. Its vital you are all a group already. This could be a mixture or previous acquaintances and newly hired members or we can have you "employed" by somebody on their behalf if you prefer. The possibilities are endless!

I'll get a discord sorted for you for when we start the game shortly.

Welcome to GM Inara’s recruitment thread for the Mummy’s Mask adventure path!

The goal is to finish the entire AP, so be expecting a ride of 2-3 years. I'm planning on accepting 3-4 submittals for this game with 2 additional slots pre-allocated for a total of 5-6 players.

Now, I am big fan of the oh-so-bad-its-good “The Mummy” movie (Brendan Frasier version) and love the atmosphere, so that is what I am aiming for in this game. Who doesn’t love a librarian? For details on the start of the game, please see the players guide, linked below.

Who am I?:

Im a British teacher with a love of all things fantasy. I started roleplaying 12 years ago, ended up being on the executive for my univeristy’s large roleplaying society and haven’t stopped since! I’ve been playing pathfinder for a decade and its my favourite system – still haven’t decided been 1st or 2nd Ed! I’ve GM’d a lot in person and have completed GMing a short module (the Harrowing) online as well as a current game of Rise of the Runelords. I play in a few games on here and am particularly in love with my characters Dora, Poppy and Izolda if you’re interested in seeing more from me.

I have recently come to the revelation that PbP games are my favourite as the development of story and the characters is much more in depth. I am more into ‘roleplaying’ than ‘roll playing’ so sometimes may fudge the rules if it makes sense to do so. Mummy’s Mask can be known to be a dungeon-heavy game, but having run it in the past, this does not need to be the case. For those who prefer role-playing over roll-playing, there is no need to worry!

Im in the UK (GMT) as is one other player. The other is GMT-5 so we understand time zone differences. My weekday posts are before 7.30am GMT and after 4pm GMT due to work. My weekend posts are just as frequent but erratic timing.

Full disclosure – one of the players is my husband, but don’t worry that doesn’t mean I play favourites – if anything the opposite! XD.

Player Expectations:

I am looking for players that will commit to one post a day at the very least during the week and at least one post on the weekends. A more frequent posting rate would be better. If you can’t post for a few days because of work/vacation, that’s fine as real life happens to us all, but please let us know. The two players with a guaranteed slot (Brainiac and Nikolaus de’Shade) both have high posting rates also and enjoy a fast paced game.

I don’t mind what your experiences are on the forum – if you’re new then please do still apply! I would like to take a new player as everyone needs a starting chance! Whether you are new or not, please ensure you have read Painlord’s Building a Better Doomed Hero Guide before applying as it is invaluable.

You must read the player’s guide before playing. Its free and can be found here: link.

Formatting posts: Please use quote marks as well as bolding text for speech. Please use OOC tags for out of character.

We will be using Discord rather than the discussion thread for ooc chat (text based only, no voice) so please be willing to join if you apply as ooc chat is much better and quicker that way. We will still use the gameplay thread on PAIZO for all roleplaying. The only thing that we tend to post on the discussion thread on the forums are loot lists and level ups.

What to include in your application:

1)Crunch (no need for alias if you don’t want to create it yet – please use spoilers if this is the case)

2)Your timezone and when you usually post/how often you post.

3)Character concept and background (preferably in a spoiler!). This is the most important part of the application. I don’t need a thousand words but a few paragraphs would be nice. Why does your character want to take part in the competition in Wati? What role do you see them playing in the group? What is their personality or what quirks might they have?

4)State your campaign trait

Build rules:

-20 Pt buy.
-Official Paizo only – no 3PP, please don’t ask
-Always use unchained where applicable
-Max HP first level, half +1 for each level after.
-Background skills apply (please state clearly where you have allocated these)
-Starting wealth is either rolled (in thread) or average, whichever is higher.
-No evil and no “bordering on the edge” of evil.
-No loners – group players only!
-Two traits, one of which MUST be campaign. You can take one drawback for an extra trait. (reminder – paizo only!)
-The campaign is at the stage of emerging guns, so gunslingers are allowed.
-I wouldn’t recommend a mounted character.
- All core races allowed. Featured races by request only however I won’t be accepting more than 1 (2 at a push) in the party so this may harm your chances – it needs to be entwined in your character creation.

Deadline: Friday 23nd October 2020 5am GMT (For those state-side, that is between 9pm and midnight on the 22nd depending on where you are).

Today is the day of the autumnal equinox, the 22nd of the month of Rova. The sun, while still very low in the sky at this hour, is shining brightly and the air is unseasonably warm around Sandpoint.

At dawn, the proud new cathedral bells echo throughout the streets of Sandpoint to start the day of its own consecration. The warm breeze lazily flaps the streamers and colourful bunting hangs throughout the tidy and especially clean streets.

There were many citizens already out of bed at dawn this morning in their getting ready to celebrate, and the main square of the town has an early-morning bustle of different traders preparing their wares for today’s festival and consecration.

For the town, today is an important day combining their Autumnal Equinox celebration with the consecration of their new cathedral, which will become an official place of worship in the eyes of Desna.

Kn Local DC 12:
For five years, the faithful of Sandpoint have attended church in temporary structures erected after a fire destroyed the previous temple, and while their new religious leader was helpful, kind, and wise, church wasn’t the same. Now, the new cathedral is finally done. All that remains is for the Swallowtail Festival to renew the site’s blessings from the gods and it will be as if the Sandpoint Fire had never occurred.

Everyone is excited at the festivities that are planned to begin at noon with the welcoming speeches outside the new cathedral and will continue throughout the afternoon until Father Zantus’ prayers for consecration at sunset.

Whether you already live in Sandpoint, have arrived recently, or you are travelling, today you have come to join in the festivities and attend the welcoming speeches outside the new cathedral.

--------
The turnout for the speeches is very respectable and the four keynote speakers deliver short but well-received welcomes to the festival. Mayor Deverin’s friendly attitude and excitement proves contagious as she welcomes the town and much to everyone’s amusement says ”Even Larz managed to tear himself away to attend”.
Sheriff Belor Hemlock reminds everyone, in his usual serious fashion, to be safe around this evening’s bonfire and requests a moment of silence to remember that lost their lives in the fire that claimed the previous church many years ago.

The next speaker was scheduled to be Lonjiku Kaijitsu but a sudden illness prevented him from attending the ceremony.

Cyrdak Drokkus, the town performer, lifts the crowd's spirits with a completely irreverent recap of the long process the town went to finance and construct the new cathedral and throws in some self-promotion for his new production of “The Harpy’s Curse” revealing that the lead role will be played by none other than famous Magnimarian Diva, Allishanda!

Finally, Father Zantus steps up to the stage and behind him some acolytes wheel a large covered wagon into the square. Father Zantus recounts a short parable of how Desna first fell onto Golarion and was nursed back to health by a blind child who she transformed into an immortal butterfly as a reward for her aid.

"Thank you all for coming to celebrate this joyous day today. I hope that you can all rejoin us at sunset to give our prayers and thanks to Desna to officially consecrate our delightful cathedral and round up our festival." With that, the acolytes pull aside the wagon's cover, releasing a thousand children of Desna - a furious swarm of swallowtail butterflies that swarm into the air in a spiralling riot of colour to a great cheer from the crowd.

From behind the swarm of swirling colour, Father Zantus cries out,"Let the festivities begin!"

Kn Local DC12:
Local information: Larz is the local tanner, a notorious workaholic always sporting a straight face. Lonjiku Kaijitsu was the local nobleman but never attends frivolities. Ameiko Kaijitsu’s tavern is probably best to stop at as she is offering her remarkable curry-spiced salmon and early Winterdrop mead. Father Abstalar Zantus is a worshipper of Desna and very open about matters of faith, often slipping into the role of advisor for worshippers of other Gods also.

You have the afternoon after the speeches at your disposal before the sunset consecration. There are a variety of games you may wish to participate in (including prizes!), food to eat, goods to buy and merriment to be had. Food is free in all taverns and there are impromptu performances all throughout the afternoon. Have fun!

Larz is the local tanner, a notorious workaholic always sporting a straight face. Lonjuki Kaijitsu was the local nobleman but never attends frivolities. Ameiko Kaijitsu’s tavern is probably best to stop at as she is offering her remarkable curry-spiced salmon and early winterdrop mead. Father Abstalar Zantus is a worshipper of Desna and very open about matters of faith, often slipping into role of advisor for worshippers of other Gods also.

You have the afternoon at your disposal before the sunset consecration. There are a variety of games you may wish to participate in (including prizes!), food to eat, goods to buy and merriment to be had. Food is free in all taverns, there are impromptu performances and a planned swallowtail release in the square all throughout the afternoon. Have fun!

Hey everyone, congrats on getting in!

A couple of things before we begin playing:

Mechanics
1. We will use some of the feat tax breaks found if that changes any of your feat choices, please feel free to change before we begin.
-Weapon Finesse
-Power Attack
-Point-Blank Shot
-Deadly Aim
Anyone who gets one of these as a class feature (eg Gudada and Morgana who get weapon finesse) please ask and we can swap but for something sensible. For now, weapon finesse as a class feature will give you weapon focus instead.

2.Can you all please put the following in your aliases so that I have all your character information easily available in every post? I have copied and pasted from my archaeologist bard, so do customise for your own character as needed.:)
In the Race line: |HP: 9/9| AC: 16 (13 Tch, 13 Fl) | CMB: -1, CMD: 12 | F: +1, R: +5, W: +2 | Init: +3 | Perc: +4, DD +8, Bluff/Dip +7, Knw +7
In the class/levels line | Speed 30ft | Spells: 1st 2/2 | Archaeologists Luck (+2 atk/dam, saves, skills): 4/7| Active conditions: None.

Non-mechanics]
1. Please feel free to do a quick introduction below if you feel comfortable doing so.
2. I am going to aim for 5-10 posts per week, usually at 1 per day but sometimes cannot post on a Wednesday. This week I am on half term break and will be able to post more often. Please can you also all aim for around 1 post a day so the speed of the campaign is viable.
3. TheBobJones - you have 3 traits and 1 drawback - all fine, but none of the traits are a campaign trait. Before you start playing, please can you swap out one of your traits for a campaign trait.

I will put up the first gameplay post later today!

2 people marked this as a favorite.

In the sleepy, coastal town of Sandpoint, evil is brewing. Will you stand by and watch the town fall, or will you join us and be on the front lines to protect this town from any threats it may face?

I am looking for 4-6 players.
Recruitment start: 18th October 2017
Recruitment closes: Wednesday 25th October 2017 8am GMT.
Game starts Wednesday 25th October 2017 after I finish character selection.

About Me::

I have been roleplaying for approximately 8 years in the real world and was part of the executive team of our roleplaying society (around 180 people). I started out with D&D 3.5 but fell in love with Pathfinder 2 years later. I have played and GM'd in the real world with large groups all the way down to solo campaigns with my husband. I am currently playing in my first ever PbP (Ruins of Azlant) but wanted to GM a game as well. I'm a completionist in all walks in life, so I am looking to play with other players who would also like to see the campaign through. I have played a section of Rise of the Runelords in a solo game, but knew it would be better with a group so here it is!

Expectations::

1. I am a big fan of Role-play and not roll-play and luckily PbP is great for that.
2. Post Rate - I try to post 5-10 times per week and expect players to do the same. I am a teacher which means sometimes I have a parents meeting in the evening so cannot post whereas in the school holidays (UK) I can post more regularly.
3. Timezones do not bother me but FYI, I am GMT.

Gameplay::

I am going to use the Grouped Combat style to speed combat rounds up.
Please roll for actions in the order that they occur.
I will ask you to put certain information in you race line etc so they are available each post. Please do keep this up to date.
