Sky gets brought back with Thurk's quick medical aid, taking a second to remember his surroundings as he stands up Action 1: Stand and sees Toadlicker trying to get the stone out of the leshy's head. He figures his attacks haven't been working so he attempts to help the goblin at getting the stone. Action 2 and 3: Force Open

Force Open 1: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (20) + 9 = 29
Force Open 2: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (3) + 4 = 7

Sky flinches from the dart and immediately switches to his Shark Stance Action 1: Dragon Stance allowing him to move a little easier through the crowd of leshies like a shark swimming through water as he slides through and is able to make it behind one of the large bones up ahead, closing the gap a little between him and the abomination. Action 2 and 3: Stride, Stride

Note: Dragon Stance lets me ignore the first difficult terrain square when using stride.

"Were the barrels our only way out of here? I thought we had a ship as well? Also wasn't Flitch supposed to know another way out of town?"

Brillock thinks back through his previous conversations.

"So on the fourth day, Flitch should know a secret tunnel to the Shard Cove where our boat will arrive. The boat can take 5 clients and leave undetected. Anyone we can't get on the boat we will have to smuggle out in other ways, sneaking them past the guards at the docks."

Just a recap of our conversation at the beginning of the adventure. What day are we currently on? Day 3 right?

I really enjoyed the scenario! As with PbP it's always difficult managing how to do things and keep everything moving smoothly and running on time, and with the servers going down and causing us to lose people as well as a few days, it was definitely a bit more difficult than normal. You posted much more often than I've noticed that GMs do for a PbP so that was a real treat as well. I enjoyed everyone else's characters and it was sad to see our group composition slowly dwindle over time, but I'm glad that we were able to pull it through.

Mid-tumble, Sky hears Roots talk about his plant friends while right next to him Arfsnarf is trying to burn a path through them. I hope none of those were his friends.... or family... he thought to himself.

Sky tightens up his loose clothing a bit, tying down the baggy areas so they don't get caught on the thorny brush as he tries to hop and weave his way through it by doing flips and other impressive dexterous feats...

Acrobatics: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (19) + 7 = 26

...and he almost feels guilty, showing off how easy it is to cartwheel through a thorny undergrowth.

Just announced!

Please note: while this page currently says "will be available Aug 4," our system fails to specify that the date is Aug 4 2021 because this is a special.

Haha. I had been coming here over the past several weeks hoping this would be available in time for this Sunday's game and just now read your post. (I'm guessing I probably can't get it ready within 4 days when it releases in 2021.)

Not with that attitude you can't. ;)

All jokes aside, super bummed to see this won't be available until next year since both the gf and I play characters from the Mwangi Expanse and I feel like this would be great character building for both of us. At least it's something to look forward to at next year's Gencon!

During the GM's retelling of the events, you can see Marrowtusk chasing down the goblins running away from camp screaming something about "more gold".

Marrowtusk helps the baker with some of his tasks to gain some favor with him. Because of his bad leg, Gunty has Marrowtusk carry some heavy barrels for him but unbeknownst to Gunty, even though Marrowtusk looked like he was carrying them with ease, in fact he found himself oddly struggling with the light barrels that a disabled veteran would normally be able to carry on his own and embarrassingly did his best to hide it and finish the bakers tasks for his information.

Before splitting up to their different areas of investigation, he mentions they should probably meet back up at the tavern when everyone is ready to share information and pick the next area to head towards, so he heads back there to wait for the others.

Alright it's up to you guys to get the others, lol. This is all I can do but I think I've got some great info! And sorry I'm so active guys, I haven't played Pathfinder in like a year and I'm excited to get back on this character so I'm going to be obsessively playing. x_x

Marrowtusk's stomach began rumbling from the free meal he had earlier at the tavern, the large human requiring more than just a single chicken to energize him for the adventure. He decides to go and question the baker about his apprentice at Gunty's Heaty Breads, hoping that he might get some extra carbs to fuel the machine he calls his body. "Good day friend, my name's Marrowtusk with the Pathfinder Society and I'm here ta get some information on ya missin apprentice. Do ya need some help?"

I literally just got done with a 4 hour sitting to get the first of two Gozreh tattoos.

My current Monk/Cleric has two holy symbols of Gozreh tattooed on his arms and I'm pretty much infatuated with Gozreh, the concept is really cool and I like all the flavor.

I'm matching my Monk/Cleric by getting the same two tattoos that I describe him as having: On his left inner forearm is Gozreh's female water form, and on his right inner forearm is the male cloud/storm form.

Anyone have any other Pathfinder related tattoos? I imagine there should be some pretty good Goblin ones. :P

Naiar pounces on Boots and gives him a wrestle, happy to see him out of that awful cage. "That's a good boy, did ya like your gnoll treat?" Boots grabs the gnoll's corpse by the leg with his beak and picks it up off the ground, offering it to Naiar like a treat. "I'm okay, thanks Boots. Heel!"

Handle Animal: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (4) + 5 = 9 vs DC 10

Boots ignores Naiar's command, continuing to pick up the gnoll's body and throw it about, playing with it and pecking it with its beak. Naiar makes his way over to the chest to get his armor out of the secret compartment. "BOOTS, HEEL."

Handle Animal: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (3) + 5 = 8 vs DC 10

Boots continues to ignore him, as he begins to tear apart the corpse and plays with random body parts, flinging blood around on the floor. "BOOTS, STOP YOU'RE MAKING A MESS! HEEL!"

Handle Animal: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (11) + 5 = 16 vs DC 10

Boots finally perks up and runs over to Naiar as he slides into his +1 mithril breastplate and takes his time to strap everything into place, knowing that armor needs to be worn properly to be effective, a lesson he learned in one of his many books on swordplay in the mental collection resting in his vast mind. Armor strapped on properly, Naiar joins the rest of his freedom fighters and stands valiantly among them, his armor and longspear glowing faintly with magic along with the circlet he wore on his head. "Ugh, he can be a pest sometimes, but I'm finally ready to go!"

Each one of you receives a letter from the Pathfinder Society, an assignment located at the Varisia Pathfinder Lodge at Heidmarch Manor in the city of Magnimar. You all arrive and gather at the front gate until the group is... large enough to be called a group, and are finally let inside and greeted by Venture Captain Sheila Heidmarch.

“Welcome to Varisia, welcome to the city of Magnimar, welcome to the Pathfinder Lodge of Heidmarch Manor, but most importantly, welcome to my home.” She greets you in her low, breathy voice, finishing with a warm smile.

“Varisia is a land of ancient wonders and exciting possibilities,” she continues, “and I’ve found it most helpful to keep a team of Pathfinders on call at the lodge at all times, should anything of interest to the Society come up unexpectedly. This assignment is only temporary. We’ll rotate in a new team to take your places in a few weeks, but rest assured, there’s plenty of potential for you to make a name for yourselves as Pathfinders here."

She takes a brief pause to look at each one of you. “I’ve arranged for you to stay in Bakrakhan House, one of our guest cottages, for the duration of your stay here. It’s currently unoccupied, so you’ll have the place to yourselves. You’re on duty starting tomorrow morning, so take some time to settle in, wrap up any unfinished business you have in the city today, and should the Society have need of you, I’ll contact you directly."

“Ebrylis, if you could show them the way, please,” Sheila says as she turns and departs. A half-elf guardsman steps forward. “This way, please,” Ebrylis says. “Bakrakhan House is the last house on the end. I’m sure you’ll want to unpack, set up your bunks, and so on. Dinner’s at sunset in the manor’s dining room. Look for me at the gate if you need anything else. I’ll leave you to it.” With that, Ebrylis strolls back down the path.
