This is just how I see it and from how converted I am to Discord games now. I was 100% all forums before I tried Discord.

Paces of a game is on the GM, if they wish to slow it down so others can post then it's on them. I find it so much more responsive it's as close to a live game as you can get.

The search function is 100% better on discord. Separate channels make it easier to RP more without mixing everything up.

Something like Inn RP for out of gameplay one on one rp.

But overall I'm not in it for where we play but just for a good game.

Forgot to mention, I will be tweaking and making an alias. I just wanted to get something down.

On Discord, I'm in three games playing there currently. It's just a better overall PBP experience. So I'd be happy to at least give it a try and help those not used to it if I got in with people who want to try it.

I second @_Veda_ questions too.

Bezmen Oradia, Tiefling Magnus/Occultist. Dragged kicking and screaming into the Sanitarium. Ready for the horrors to unfold.

Crunch:

I haven't finished the Crunch - I hope that doesn't go against me. If I am picked I would like to go through some ideas on a build.

I plan on a Tiefling Magus / Occultist. I was considering a frontliner, I picked Occultist for all the object reading and cool little tricks I could bring in that would be good for RP.

Background.:

This is just a small overview of the character - I answered the 20 questions but I feel there is so much more that will come out.

Bezmen Oradia - a monster. The bastard son of a bastard son. His birth wasn't planned, he wasn't loved he was hated and despised before he was even born. From a father of wealth and a mother of lower class. But his heritage, his blood line made him more than just a half demon bastard.

He was born on the streets and that’s where he had to fight for anything he got, he worked harder than anyone else. But he had a few gifts the others street skum didn't have thanks to his demon blood.

He did bad things to survive but slowly he didn't do them to just survive he did them because he enjoyed the power, he enjoyed the feel of fear washing off those he prayed upon.

He would be a conman, playing on people's needs to get money out of them. (Fortune teller and that type of work)

When he wakes up in the sanatorium he will not remember his past, he will understand bits but I hope that will come back slowly to reveal the real monster he was.

20 Questions:

Concept
So the way I would like to do this is give a feel for both sides of my charater. The evil side the person he was before he lost his mind and the one he will be when he wakes up. I want to give a flavour and let you run wild if you wished, I want him to be conflicted when his memories come back. He will be an occultist so I want to get a hit of memories with the object reading ability, I will be doing that a lot and playing it up.
What emotion best describes your character?
Before his mind was wiped he was angry he reveled in the anger and drank from it deeply. It didn't come from just one particular thing but a whole host of problems as he liked to see them. He had a loathing a resentment for most people living their lives, wasting them on little things. It disgusted him. After the wipe he will be cheerful, kind, caring and have a fondness for people. This will change as his old self is revealed.
What emotion does your character evoke in others?
Before the wipe I think generally he would want to scare people, he would want people to avert their eyes from him. He would revel in the fear. He was sacred once he didn't like it and he grew from the fear, and now he only wishes to give it to others. He uses that to impress people like him, to stand out and join others above his social station.
After -
Enemies I want to intimidate them, I want them to be unsure of what I will do. I want to get in their heads and give them second thoughts about messing with me.
Friends I hope to play him as calm, respectful and compassionate. He will be very loyal to those he calls friend.
What does your character need most?
Before - He was a bored creature, he did the evil things he did because he could and because it brought him joy. He didn't really need for anything as he would take it.
After - He’s lost, he thinks he needs to get his memory back he needs to get whatever life he had back. He will want a connection he will want to feel something with other people.
What is your character’s goal in life?
His memories, the life he could have had but has forgotten about. It is the main drive he has for everything he is doing. He is a blank slate, not remembering anything and it’s like being in a void. To think of the people out there waiting for him to come home and it drives him forward. He needs to find out what happened to him and won't stop.
How does your character believe this goal can be accomplished?
He will just follow everything he can, if there is something remotely connected to him or the situation he’s in he wont stop to find them and ask them about himself. If anyone remembered him he will want to know everything they can tell him. He holds onto the fact he needs to find out who he was, but when he sees where it takes him maybe he will decide he doesn't want to learn anymore.
Background
For any campaign, a character should have come from somewhere. Spend any length of time with someone and their history is bound to come up. These questions give your character history, and therefore dramatic and emotional weight.
Where did your character come from?
He was born a bastard to Cheliax, a country rich with people like him but seen as a lesser person. His father was a well off man but the mother was a prostitute, a thing men with money and power went to experience something different. He started life early there was no pampering on the streets of Cheliax, he wasn't well looked after if he wanted to survive, he had to learn on the street. He had to steal and fight to survive it’s the thing that hardened him to the world. Everything he learnt he worked for, lucky for him there are certain gifts given to those of demon blood.
When did you grow up?
He had to grow up early, his father didn't want him. His mother was on the game working. She didn't cast him away but she wasn't a mother, she just had a bed for him to sleep. As a child he had to take full responsibility for himself or he just wouldn't live. It came down to fighting to protect himself, stealing to survive and doing what he had to do to learn.
What values does your character hold?
Self Freedom, he will not abibe people telling him what to do. He has lived his life as someone look down upon and hates it.
Before his memory was lost - nothing would hold him back from what he needed to do.
After his memory was lost - He will not hurt those in need, he will only defend himself.

How does your character dress?
Before he was very particular to what he wore, he would dress well for the types of work he did. He was fond of certain items that offered up significance to him. Normal items he stole or took off a dead body. With his power to read an object he took only the most powerful object that told stories and he would use that power. (Things like pendants, belts)
What are your character’s means?
He has nothing, he takes what he wants. He is a fighter, he had no training so he learnt on the streets. Most of his magical skill came to him from his demon blood. He is selfmade and plays on that immensely.
Details
Now we’re picking nits. These five are all about texture and color. These answers take your character beyond an adventure serial persona and into reality. Answers to these make your characters memorable for years.
What are your character’s personal tastes?
A certain flower his mother would wear as perfume, the very smell of it takes him back to the small shack they lived in and watching his mother get ready to go out and see the people she would work for. It reminds him of how pretty she was and how she wasn't all that bad at the start to him.
He enjoys witteling, the mindless act of carving away at wood it’s the one thing that he can just stop thinking about the world and focus on making something out of nothing.
He hates small talk. He will not abide conversation without a reason.
What are your character’s opinions?
I have a few ideas on this just can’t really get them down without talking to you. Some of these questions were hard to answer in relation to the AP we’re going to play.
What is your character’s comfort zone?
Same as above
Who has had the biggest impact on your character’s life?
His father, he hardly remembers anything about him but he knows that’s where it started when his father turned away from him and wanted nothing to do with him. He knew then this world wasn't easy and you had to fight for the attention you wanted.
Adaline - An elf she taught him a lot about life and magic, it’s where he learnt to use his skills in a more controlled manner, she wasn't the nicest person but she showed him the first real affection and he loved her. He still has a scar under his chin from her parting kiss. She was another step on his journey to realise you can’t truly trust anyone.
What are some of your character’s unexpected quirks?

While he has resistances to some energy he still hates the feel of it. If he was to do a trick like catching fire it would make him uncomfortable.
He has a fear of rats, since living on the streets he has memories of rats gnawing at his boots as he slept. He will never lose the fear of that.

Player
These five questions direct your play experience itself rather than your character. What do you want out of your game? If a group answers these together, they can expect dramatically rewarding game sessions, and the GM will know clearly what’s expected to give everyone a good time.
What kind of story does your character belong in?
Before - He gets joy from hurting others, from tormenting people from intimidating them. Feeling how uncomfortable he can made people, that was the funniest thing in the world to him. To see people squirm under his gaze. He is in a dark setting where one rarely faces and consequences.
After - He does not wish harm on anyone, but will defend himself and those around him with all his strength. He will stand his ground but will normally not be the first one to strike out.
He will have to pay for his brutal past, it will be something he never expected. Waking up with no memory and then confronted with the bad things he did in this past might break him.
What role does your character fill?
He should be front line, getting into the thick of it. He will have spells to help out and skills to aid the party. It will be and all rounder in most places because he’s 6 level caster. Offering himself up wherever he’s needed.
What should the other players know about your character?
It maybe interesting his he had hurt one of the other characters to what degree is up to you but that could really offer up some interesting RP if it was something we all forgot and slowly it came out. The big secret would be his past and the completely different type of person he was. There are a few points I have that could work here but I’d have to see how far you would want to go with them.
What is your play style?
I love to immerse myself completely, I do find it hard to get into a character right away I think as you play them you slowly get a feel for who they are. An AP like this works well for that. I understand there's a balance in everything, but I’d have to say I enjoy the RP side of things and letting things flow between players to be the most interesting thing.
How do you want your character to die?
I want his death to add to the story, if at a certain point it makes sense that him dying at this point would be amazing and impactful for the story then so be it. You can’t play an interesting campaign with everyone being alive and no death, or no arguments with people just going through the motions, people are complicated. I think it would be bittersweet if he died not truly understanding his life.

Looks:

Bezmen stands at 6 foot tell, is well built and holds himself as if he’s always ready for a fight. He has a very typical look for a tiefling, having a tail and horns but his long hair is snow while. Eyes as black as the void, with a smile that shows his sharp pearl white teeth.

He dresses fancy whenever possible, making sure nothing is out of place.

Finishing up a few things and I'll get a post in very soon! Hopefully not missing the deadline.

Hectic week in work, I am working on my submission and I will get something in. I'm pretty excited about this character.

Going through the 20 questions also, really helps you think deeply about your character.

I've played some of the Adventure Path and I have an idea for a character. I have a back story idea, just trying to make it work in my head/with classes. Would you mind if I PM you ?

I'm sure I've missed this but this game will be purely on the board right? Not a discord game?

I like the idea of this game a lot! I will attempt to get some proper time tomorrow and read through the whole thread. Then try and come up with something fitting.

I have most everything done. I want to go through my backstory again make sure I'm happy with it then I'll post.

GM ShadowLord wrote:
I am familiar with this document, yes. I am not willing to allow the entirety of it into play for the simple fear that I'm already allowing a grossly overpowered party into play, I don't want to have to severely enhance every encounter just to make it fun. I agree with the concept of taking point blank shot out out of the feat chain for archery requirements, but it serves a slightly different purpose than the other three I allowed in. Perhaps I'll change my mind and grant it for free, but for right now I'm happy with the three I've selected.

I understand completely and didn't mean to step on your toes, what you were offering was partly like that rule set. I agree with it and found it refreshing that you were offering them for free also.

I found your recruitment post to be well put together.

I like the idea of this, I'm going to have a read of the players guide but I will be submitting something. I have an idea of the alchemist Gun Chemist I saw you didn't mind the idea of gunslingers. But I want to see if he would fit from reading the players guide first. I have an interesting idea though.

Also since your offering free feats like Power Attack and Deadly Aim, have you seen the rule set The Elephant in the Room: Feat Taxes in Pathfinder It basically does what you've done but also fixes a few things like taking point-blank out of the long archery chain. It's a very interesting read even if you didn't want to go all out on it.

There is a lot of new stuff to learn for me (Setting wise)

I've never heard of City of Seven Seraphs or the Planar setting. Because of this, I don't feel like I could really set a backstory for my character that would help me get into the game. Do you know of a players guide I could look at or something that isn't the whole book to at least try and understand the world to build a character?

I just wanted to say I liked your recruitment post and I like the idea of this game a lot. I would very much like to apply for this!

(Does anyone know if this stuff is on herolabs ? or an addon for it?)

Hey Samnell, I loved age of worms when I played it a long time ago. I think it was one of the last campaigns I played before moving to pathfinder. We never did get far into it, and I can't hardly remember anything.

I haven't played a ranged character in awhile, I was considering a switch hitter. Slayer/alchemist(Vivisectionist) going for something like a witcher. Mainly ranged.

I have a backstory idea... I need to read and see if what I remember sinks up. I will be a human, from outside so a mercenary most likely.

I just wanted to ask what the posting expectation is? I've just finished up a pretty fast paced game and was hoping for something the same.

1 person marked this as a favorite.

I've always wanted to play in a Wrath of the Righteous game only ever finishing book one in a live game.

I will put something together but is there anything you feel the party really need? You said there was main ranged so I'll stay away from that. I was considering a alchemist/slayer or ranger going for a witcher type character.

I was also wondering on the pace of the game? I currently had free time with my work and I'm looking for a fast pace game, how many posts do you try and get out a day? Or what do you expect?

I think I'll take the clone mutation. I think I could get a lot more out of it RP wise than the ageing one. But I liked that too.

I am considering a melee alchemist. I will look to making something up now.

Considering something 3/4 base attack... Alchemist, magus. I need to check what everyone else is going.

1d40 ⇒ 2

I guess what I get from this changes a lot.

Late to the party as I've been away with work. I will try and get my backstory finished, but if not it's just the way it was meant to be. There are some brilliant entries for this game.

I had planned a Human Alchemist Vivisectionist(I was considering beast morph unsure if that would fit in tis campaign though). Two weapon fighter. Planned to take Caravan Guard, in Sandpoint just waiting for the next Caravan.

As I said I will attempt to get everything up in time but if not, good luck to everyone.

I have everything done just tweaking my backstory and hope to post it later today. I just want to make sure I don't miss the deadline was it the 17th?

I've also written my ranger with the Child of the Crusade trait.

Back Story:

Allston Brent -

Morian stifles his screams of pain as he rocks about on the cold filth covered cell floor. He can think of nothing else but the pain of the ever burning hunger that wrecks his body. He had taken the beatings from the guards and his fellow inmates from his constant crying his feverish visions of before his capture. ”Zura! take me in your embrace feed me the life.” He shouts out, clawing at the cold stone floor and biting at the air. ”The blood is the life…” He shouts out just before getting kicked in the guts by a large brutish man.

He then swims in his mind, visions flood over him. In such a vivid dream, he is thrown back to the day he met his sweet release. With a crash it happened so fast, it was a bittersweet end. She had asked and so he followed her every word. He had wanted it more than anything, he was beyond obsessed he had cried out for it so many times. It was like the sweetest kiss, an embrace he never wanted to end. He felt euphoria like he had never before.

It started with frustration, it started with a single reason to want to break out from the stifling society and truly expertise something outside the norm outside of the exception. He was born into the high life the son of a diplomate, everything was given to him but everything was expected of him. He was never given a moment to himself and in turn he was never truly able to be himself or experience exactly what life had to offer. He had a particular skill in alchemical study and it was this endeavor that gave him the more freedom the more excitement in his life as he was able to delve into libraries full of old knowledge.

That is where it all started, he played with this new knowledge and didn't plan on stopping. He ran from one extreme to another, devisising drugs and other conconsions to test on himself and others. It was immensely freeing but he needed more and that’s when he really delved deep and started to learn of the monsters of this world, one in particular the Vampire. A creature sinigual need to live on blood, a component to life and one that could fuel such a creature he needed to know more he needed to meet one.

So he left the comfy trappings of his father house and setout on his own, his path took him to the worse places you could find in a country full of worshipers of light. But he dived head first in the depravity and did things he wouldn't have dream of before but it all came as second nature to him. He loved every moment of it, taking advantage of people maybe even some of the drug he sold could have killed a few people but it didn't matter to him he loved to rush of it all. He still read, searched for knowledge deemed to dark for most libraries and still on his hunt for a vampire for a creature of the night. He did everything in his power to track one.

That’s when he met her then, in the middle of nowhere in some god forsaken bar he met this creature. He couldn't tell if she was an angel of a demon but he knew she was the most beautiful thing he had ever seen, and he knew she was a vampire. When he entered the bar she only had eyes for him and with his devilish charm and quick wit he moved to her, then it was all a flash. A night to remember but he only remembered in in short burst, she had made him hers and he was more than happy to do whatever she wanted. She was the strongest of drugs she held eternal life and it was all just one bite away.

Months went by and it was the greatest time of his life, he loved her he needed her. But she showed no signs of affection he felt like it was just a game for her. But he was infatuated. He did everything for her, he bring her food it was anyone he could get his hands on and then it got a lot worse. She kept pushing him ask more of him, he would charm his ways into houses and throw people outside for her to take. But things could last so long in a country like Talingarde there was a step to far and it’s the reason they were caught, she wanted his father and with a smile he throw him out into the cold.

With the deed done she kissed him, it was the greatest of pleasures a simple kiss but then she spoke to him so softly. She thanked him and spoke of the greatest of gifts she wanted to turn him she needed him now more than ever. But that’s when it happened, shouts of partols and arrows rain down one hitting him in the shoulder as she stood taking the most. She hissed and ran dragging him with her, the chase was relentless. But he was not going to be left behind and ran breathlessly alongside her.

They got to the ocean, her wounds clear to see now in the moonlight. She had asked him to jump, so he jumped. He stood at the edge of the cliff looking down at the crashing waves, he had followed her this far he was an addict waiting for the next touch the next time she would give him just a moment of her time a glance of a smile. It broke him every time, he was a wreck. With the large collection of men shouting at him he turned to have one last look and jumped.

He was lost in the wash wave after wave hit, for a moment he felt it was over he didn't know what way was up or down. But then she was there, she took hold of him, she swam around almost like she was floating about the water it was effortless. Flashes of knowledge hit him then and panic sets in that vampires and water shouldn't work like this. But she surprised him again, seeming just at home in the water. As she swam to him she showed her wounds and he knew what she wanted, so he offered himself to her fully he wanted to give his life for hers.

As she drank deeply he felt the life draining from him but he was happy, there was a point he felt himself not even holding his breath. He just was in the water with the love of his life. Then it happen a large bolt show through his chest and into hers and they started to pull them out the water.

It happened so fast, he was so weak so drained there was nothing he could do for her as they surrounded her and hacked her to bits they went about burning her body and making sure she didn't come back as they chained him up, saying he would hang but they had a special plan for him.

--

It all comes crashing down the euphoria of the most perfect moment he had ever achieved. Replaced with pain flashing over his face, another boot from his fellow inmates handed out freely when his hunger got the best of him and he would scream out uncontrollably. He licked at his broken lip tasting his own blood, the black clotted sludge didn't flow from his wound it was like a think puss, it almost turned him sick the blood so deceased from the starvation of blood. He begged again for just a single drop from the other prisoners but whispered it this time, he remembered all the other times and he expected there would be more than a few hard hits this time. With a cold shiver, he crawls slowly to the corner of the cell pulling himself up he looks across the room finally looking at each of the other prisoners, planning who he might be able to take advantage of who he could feed on.

He smiles a half crooked smile, this wasn't where he was going to die. He would pray to Zura he would work with anyone to get his way, to get out and make the most of his new life he would remember his maker and make sure those who took her would pay in blood.

Overall:

Overview -
Allston will start the campaign a broken thing, not at full power not knowing how he works. He had researched the lives of vampires for so long he longed for it more than anything, he was a drug addict and wanted nothing more than to become more.

I will be playing up his addiction, and hopefully when and if he gets out into the open world with some freedom he will become more of his former refined self. But as the start he will be something like Gollum from lord of the rings just wanted a taste of fresh blood. But he will evolve and become everything he’s wanted to be.

He found the taste of the high and holy life to be distasteful so was happy to seek anything different. He found it and was content to serve and take what pleasure he could but with his maker dead and him unsure of what it’s like to be a vampire I will play up alot in that regard.

Personality:

Wulf is steady, determined, loyal and ready for anything that's thrown at him. He is aggressive and gets angry very easily with situations he has no control over. But knows how to read a situation.

He calls very few people friend but those he does he would do anything for.

He's wracked with nightmares over what happened to him and the situation of how he left his village. Ashamed that deep down he wished he had just run away. He also feels guilt over what happened to his friend Ton and the fact he was taken down so easily.

Looks:

Allston is a shell of a man when people first meet him, as I said earlier think Gollum from Lord of the drinks.

But when he's drinking his fill and fully healed he will be a lot more refined in the way he looks and dresses. Think a somewhat classing Dracula/sherlock holmes I might even use a sword cane for some class.

He will stand at just over 6 foot a very slim build but from the way, he holds himself people will know he’s not to be messed with. Sporting a short pit black hair and a close-shaved look.

Party Roll:

He will be skilled, with trapfinding and lock picking and knowledge. But will be a deadly more frontline with his more beastly form coming from the feral mutagen. (Played off as turning when he's had blood and running out when he's hungry.) With Sneak attacks and augments from spells he will play off as his vampire side coming more forward with the lives he takes and the blood he drinks (Maybe learning new spell?/Skills? From the people he drinks)

My plan is to go Vivisectionist alchemist (I'll be taking the feral mutagen to show my vampire side more). I have the backstory in mind and I'll attempt to get it out tomorrow night. I am pretty excited about this game.

On making the vampire - Is my HP and Fort save still based on my con? or my charisma? That is the only thing holding me back on posting

Also with the monster feat - Would you accept any of the 3rd party vampire feats for my free one? There near the bottom. Monster Feats

I was considering something not too overpowered, like Blood of the Deep and work it into my backstory.

@Cardinal A. Thorn Ok, thanks for that guidance. I will go away and put it together I think it's relativly easy in HeroLabs.

I have my backstory/RP elements sorted in my head I just need to get it down. I'm on training for half the week but I will get a post up this week.

@GM Toothy I'd be very interested in that post! I understand exeactly why ABP would be unbalanced with an AC and I see no problem with that.

I'm on a training course half the week but I'm working on my backstory now and will get something up this week!

I am really liking the way you are running this. Mythic is ridiculous and it's one of the reasons I was put off this campaign.

Levels of Fear is brilliant and adds a lot to the RP aspect of the game even Sanity, but I'm happy you've seen how crazy it can get. It really shows you've put a lot of thought into this.

I was considering a Ranger. I wanted to know how does Automatic bonus progression work with an Animal Companion?

@Cardinal A. Thorn

That sounds good to me, could you give me some guidance on how to stat up a vampire? Should I just try and build it with the race builder? Keeping some of the core vampire abilities?

@Cardinal I find this very interesting. First thought was to go vampire of some sort, I know there are Vampire and Lich feats that can be taken. But how would you like to play this out so I'm not just a level 1 human with the bitten feat.

Side note - I havent played Way of the Wicked before but I see a lot of games going with gestalt. Is that mentioned in the game at all or is that just a theme some GMs go with?

Only just saw this game and I'd love to play in a game like this. I see current close date is the 8th, I will get my character up before then.

I have ideas it's just what class to apply them too. I think you've answered anything I wanted to know so far.

I've been wanting to get into a Rise of the Runelords game recently. I will attempt to get something up tonight or tomorrow.

My idea is to play a slayer leaning more on the ranged side of things but having the option to be a switch hitter if needed.

I love the idea of this game. I have a lot of ideas, but I want to read over the whole thread to make sure I'm not stepping on anyone's toes first.

But I will attempt to get something up tomorrow!

Hello, I like what I see so far. I really enjoy Rise of the Runelords and seeing you add more in will be really interesting.

I'm considering playing a ranger.

I had two questions - How would ABP would for an animal companion? Would they get it? If not would it be impossible to get them belts and such right?

I saw you talk about feat fixes was that Tax free feats? Just wondering as I only just discovered these and wanted to know if there was another system people were using too.

I just want to show interest.

I had an idea for a vivisectionist alchemist. I have most of the backstory/feel for the charter brewing in my head I just need to get some time to write it down and build him up.

CC I feel is perfect for the character I have in mind.

Upfront I'll say I have just finished a 5 year long CC game on the boards, it was intense but it was so brilliant. I loved it so much I just want to jump back into that world. I played quiet a timid priest of Desna. In this time around I hope to play a more forward character able to push the team and plot forward. I've also DM the first book and half of the second.

I can more than keep the knowledge my player knows what my character would know separate. So no metagameing, but I just wanted to let you know as you brought up you would rather have players that have little knowledge of the books.

Posting from work currently and will get more up later today hopefully.

Breath of the Gods the work you put in up front is very refreshing. I do apricate it as does everyone else it seems. I love the idea of this campaign.

It's a lot to take in but I really want to try and get something together for this. I can see this being a game to watch even if you don't get in.

I don't have an idea just yet, but when I read over it I had the idea of a dragon rider saw someone else want to go for that so I'll leave them run with it. But reading through the hero-gods and Spalkis seems really interesting, so I might go for a rogue so worships Spalkis. (Slayer/alchemist maybe..)

But overall love what you have done so far and I'm excited to make something for you to read.

edit---

Although I had a small idea that my character would want to find Spalkis, or some idea of what could have happened to him. Not sure if this is in the scope of the adventure but its just an idea.

Damn I saw this recruitment last week and I put it off because of traveling with work too long.

Good luck to those who get in! My Slayer/Bard will find another home.

I've read over the campaign thread and I'm happy with everything, I really like the way you're going to run it. I found they work really well to keep games moving forward.

I use dynamic lighting in my live home games it adds suspense and another dynamic to fights.

Hey GM Mustache Just working through a backstory and I was wondering how long is too long for a backstory. Gotten a little carried away.

Hey GM Mustachem, I'm very interested in Iron Gods - Haven't had the change to play in any games. I really would love to learn more about the areas and the precursor to starfinder.

I'm really stuck on the idea of a Barbarian Human. Few points - he will have had dealings with the Technic League, his tribe displaced by them along that line, I also have the idea of a confrontation with a nanite storm that will affect him (Tougher skin - that will play into his damage reduction) He will be scarred as he hates what he's become and would be cutting away at his skin.

As mentioned above I'd like to apply jointly with JamZilla, I'm in a lot of his games and we play in home games together also.

I've been pretty bad at getting gifts this year, leaving it all to the last week isn't that and right?

I still hope to get a submission in, I was called away with work and have had trouble keeping up with posts here. But I've had a sit-down and I'm working on my backstory now.

I'm really loving the submissions so far, I'll have another quick glance and see if I can fit anyone into mine.

I ended up going with Human Shaman/Barbarian tribesman. Currently trying to piece together a backstory from my notes.

Eberron is where I started my dnd adventures and I didn't get to spend a lot of time before moving to Pathfinder, so I'm very happy you're running this. (I also enjoy gasult just to see the interesting combinations people pull off)

So I'm dotting this, and I will be reading as much as I can to set up my backstory. I had a quick idea of a shifter (Shaman/shifter) or something nature I've been thinking more about my backstory first.

Excited to get this done.

I love jade regent it was the first AP I ever played. I will have a proper look at this tomorrow.

I have one question that I'm sure I missed when do you plan on closing submissions?

I've GM'ed a Rise of the Runelords game myself, loved it and would really like the chance to play in one. If you don't mind, I know how to keep my player knowledge separate from my character knowledge.

I've got some idea's and I'll work on it over the weekend.

I work mostly from home so have free time throughout the day - I'm also GMT.

Greyhawk was a little before my time, but I hear people talk about it with such reverence.

I'd love to play in a game like this, and with the effort, your putting into converting it, it's clear you have some love for it and that just makes fun and interesting games.

I'm late to this but very interested! I have only ever played up to level 2 with King Maker and I really like the little extras your throwing in.

4d6 ⇒ (2, 1, 4, 1) = 8=7
4d6 ⇒ (3, 6, 5, 6) = 20=17
4d6 ⇒ (4, 3, 5, 6) = 18=15
4d6 ⇒ (4, 5, 3, 2) = 14=12
4d6 ⇒ (4, 4, 3, 5) = 16=13
4d6 ⇒ (2, 3, 4, 4) = 13=11

I think I'll go with 20 points since that's just a little to all over the shop for me.

Those are pretty nice Rkotitan.

I was wondering if anyone had saved angelroble maps? I've used them for the first 2 books and want to keep the same style going through but the site I got them from they all seem to be gone for there now.

Hey Waluigi, I really love the detail you put in your recruitment post. Puts a lot of faith in you and the game knowing the work you've put in up front.

I've been looking for a faster pace of game for awhile now and this seems like it.

I've played in a home game of Wrath and got to about level 3 so it would be nice to continue it and hopefully finish.

I'll reread the threat and think up some class combo's I have a character idea already I just need to get it down.

I'm really interested in this! Just wanted to show my interest, I will read over the player guide later and get to the discussion.

Hey Dragon I have a backstory im happy with and I'd love to play, but I wanted to ask a question about class.

Would you allow a Barbarian/Skald? I just want a berserker in battle who shouts at people to rile them up. I know one or two abilities max up and they won't stack im happy with this, I'd also have two rages but are different but wouldn't stack for me.

If not I will just have to think a little harder on picking my other side, I kinda want to stay away from druid(don't want to shift) and hunter(to petty) and ranger just seem to be sticking to my martial on both sides.

I really like this idea of this! I don't know much about Myth Drannor, but I'll be reading up a lot. I have an idea but I want to make sure it all fits in first.

Rolls.

4d6 - 3 ⇒ (4, 3, 6, 5) - 3 = 15
4d6 - 4 ⇒ (4, 4, 6, 4) - 4 = 14
4d6 - 3 ⇒ (4, 4, 6, 3) - 3 = 14
4d6 - 2 ⇒ (6, 2, 4, 2) - 2 = 12
4d6 - 2 ⇒ (2, 2, 6, 4) - 2 = 12
4d6 - 3 ⇒ (6, 6, 4, 3) - 3 = 16

I think I'll stick with that, can really make anything with this.

Not sure if I missed it but are you using background skills?

I love Automatic Bonus Progress, it really lets people spend money on some of the cooler magic items you don't normally see as people save up for head bands and belts.

I also really like the Virtual Gearing its a very interesting idea, and you get less bogged down in the book keeping of gear and gold!

Hey sorry for the late check in busy week, but I'm here now. I will take the day and read over everything, excited to get into this.

I'd love to play the Solarion, but they all sound really fun so I'm happy to let someone else play that over me.

I'm 99% there with my submission, just want to polish a few things you will have him later today.

I've gone for a bard/slayer ranged monster hunter. Back story is 99% done just working out all the stats now.

@Edward Sobel Ragnarok said he was using Feat Taxes Rules You can add these rules in Herolabs and it just adds those feats to your character for you. My output might have them also if you don't want that I'll take them out for you.

This sounds like exactly what I'm looking for, I'v playing ROTRL before but it's been a long time.

I have to agree 100% with you on gastult it's taken to extreams in some of the games on here

I won't be rolling, never had any luck with it so I'll stick with 25 point buy. I had a monster hunter in mind, I will get something up pretty soon.

I'm glad your going for atleast one post a day I've seen to many games die from not setting some type of post count, I work from home so won't have any problems with that.

I had one question while not the biggest part of the game how do plan on doing combat maps?

Sorry if I missed this you talk about one post per day for combat but what do you expect for out of combat? I really enjoy a fast paced game so just wanted to see what to expect from you.
