As far as people know, only those that were on the border of Crye survived. Anyone known to be in Crye is actually confirmed as either KIA or MIA since they can't account for everyone. Warforged just find the area preferable since their repair magic isn't hindered in the area.
But yes, supernatural like nuke hit Crye, magical wasteland of DOOOOOM is the result.

Trying to put together a Warforged in HeroLab. It's annoying how some things, like the alternate traits that replace Natural Plating, can't be replicated in the race builder, so I'm having to kludge some stuff in there manually. Of course, what's even more frustrating is that in the User Content section of the initial configure box, there's boxes for Eberron stuff, and they have Eberron races...that don't match the stats linked in the OP. Not sure where they got them, or I'd provide a link for comparison.
Threll Aeckson
Yeah, HeroLab can be really finicky to self edit.
I have yet to find a character gen support tool that I liked. My favorites have been custom excell sheets but those never have source data autopopulation like HeroLab and other tools, they mostly just gen your raw stats and leave you to copy-paste the features :/
Don’t know where it would have gotten alternate eberron conversion stats. Is there a formal conversion to pathfinder that I don’t know about? If so maybe that’s what it used
Master Rahl
HeroLabs Eberron isn't an official product, it done by one of the more popular user programmers [ShadowChemesh[apologize for wrong spelling]], I don't assume people have herolab but if you do you can use those conversions. I'll accept both sources. I have Herolab and have talked to the dev to know he's like me and tries to keep it close to the original material. I hope that helps.
Edit: As far as I've found there is not a formal or official Eberron/Pathfinder conversion.
Threll Aeckson
Just a suggestion, a summoner? Aegis has full bab so no need to take a second full bab class. An eidolon would give your character another thing to constantly improve, reconfigure, add to.
EDIT: Summoner eventually gets aspect, so you can further customize yourself with evolutions. Another fun option might be a mesmerist, for all the fun of “unsettling, unblinking robot stares”

Master Rahl,
May I use this trait for my warforge?
Awakened from Stasis (Regional)
You recently awakened in a strange vault with no memory of how you got there, surrounded by sleeping creatures of every shape and size in smooth glass eggs, all watched over by uncommunicative crab-like automatons.
Benefit(s) As a side effect of your stasis, you gain all the benefits of 8 hours of sleep in only 2 hours. This allows a manifester/spellcaster who must rest to prepare spells/powers to do so after only 2 hours, but does not allow a spellcaster to prepare spells/powers more than once per day.
After all, what kind of warforge is down for 8 hours to recharge its batteries. It is a War Machine, not an Entertainment Item!
-------------------------------
Also my selection of Reactionary Trait isn't the result of my warforge being bullied, he was designed to react quickly in war.

Warforged do not heal hit points or attribute damage naturally, but can be repaired with use of the Craft skill or with effects that repair constructs. Repairs made with the Craft skill take 8 hours and a warforged repair kit. The amount of hit point damage repaired per check is the result of the Craft check -15. Repairing a point of attribute damage requires 8 hours and a Craft check, DC 25. Repairing both hit point damage and one point of ability damage can done during the same 8 hour period, but still requires two different checks. Appropriate Craft skills include armorsmithing, blacksmithing, gemcutting and sculpting. A conscious warforged can repair itself.
Particularly on that last bit, is there a particular reason to choose one craft skill over another for a Warforged's self-repair purposes? Does it imply the primary construction of the warforged, e.g., a gem or clay golem warforged would require the gemcutting and sculpting craft skills?
Cuàn
I'd be looking at making a Changeling Warpriest with the Feral Champion archetype. Not sure on the other class yet.
The idea is that he's a devotee of Arawei and Balinor, revering the brother and sister as a set. He'd also pay service to the Traveler as it still is the patron of the Changeling race.
As far as background goes, the idea is that he grew up in a rural community in northern Breland. His parents fled there from Sharn due to issues with some criminal elements.
He grew up being open about his Changeling nature as his parents had told their new neighbours as much. They didn't tell them why they left Sharn though, instead saying they wanted their children to grow up far away from the criminal elements that would seek to entice them and the corruption of the big city. They became cattle farmers.

I just took craft construct especially since I purchaed a Warforge repair kit. For healing, that should work. To build a chassis from scratch, then I can see one requiring more craft skills,

It's still a work progress, but here is some of the background for my Warforged character: Guardian XI.
Queen Dannel of Cyre had much to lose in the final days of her kingdom. There were rumors that drastic options were on the table given the level of desperation imposed by the long war. There were also whispers that she kept an illegitimate child out of public view.
Around a year before the Day of Mourning the Queen received delivery of a special order of customer model Warforged, the Guardians. Only twelve of them were constructed. She requested that they be configured with a specific set of capabilities, as she intended that they would guard her most important secrets and family. She paid a hansom price to house Cannith which also bought her secrecy that this model had even been produced. To the rest of the world the Guardians were undocumented and unavailable. They did not exist.
Guardian XI was tasked with protecting the secret child. This existing was uneventful for almost a year. Then, a few days prior to the Day of Mourning, Queen Dannel instructed the Guardian to safely take the child to specific distance relatives in a faraway country. A combination of safe passages and the assistance of a psionic nomad were used to avoid the nearby ensuing battles. Once outside the reach of the most intense fighting, the Warforged knight proceeded on the long trek to take the child to safety.
He arrived at their residence on the Day of Mourning. Leaving the child behind he set out to return to his Queen. It wasn't an hour into his journey when he witnessed a flash in the sky from the direction of his destination. As he proceeded he started to hear talk of a terrible "resetting" event, and how the world would never be the same. Then more details started to float around him as he travelled, such as how the other kingdoms would react to the absence of Cyre. This in particular was confusing to him. Kingdoms don't just disappear. However when he reached the border of his lands he was greeted with a thick fog. On passing through it he witnessed wasteland and nothing.
In an instant his purpose was gone. He could return to where he had left the child, but the recipients had already been given the burden. He didn't really know where other distant relatives of the queen might reside. Those he knew were now, simply, gone. Additionally, as far as he knows the other 11 Guardians would have been wiped out in the event.
After some aimless wandering, he learns of a new mercenary group forming that may accept those who no longer belong, who don't have a "home", as it were. He quickly fits in with the Hounds of Khorvaire, with their emphasis on protecting innocents from incidental war violence.
Guardian XI is an intelligent Warforged. While he's young like many of those of his race, he doesn't lack awareness or require overly explicit instruction. He does, however, lack a concrete purpose.
He comes across as observant and insightful. He can discuss possible actions in terms of goals, but he's still figuring out what those goals should be now. Given his original purpose he has a particular fondness for children, and he can quickly accept missions related to their protection. He's very slow to trust others though. When he meets other Warforged he strives to related to them, curious what special purposes they might have been built for and what they look for in life going forward. He's somewhat colder to the other races.
I thought that the Soulknife/Aegis gestalt combo made a lot of sense for the particular construct configuration that the Queen of Cyre would have wanted to protect family. I'll work up crunch details in the next couple of days.

While all of them are used for Warforge repair, its because each one has been used in part in the creation of warforged, some have gems, all have armor or weapons, blacksmithing is a catch all, construct is a cheapout :p, but except for some minor differences their is no Clay warforged. If there is its someones attempt at using craft construct to do so, and it would be NPC or a Monster.
Also as your looking at a psionic warforged and anyone else that is there is the PsiForged Body Feat
Psiforged Body
Prerequisites: Warforged, 1st level only
Benefit: You gain 1 extra power point at 1st level, regardless of whether you choose a psionic class.
As you gain experience, you can attune the crystals infused in your body to the psionic energies of your mind. You can treat you body as a cognizance crystal, storing up to 1 power point plus 1 power point per 2 character levels (up to a max of 11 power points at 20th level), and withdraw those stored power points at some later time.
Special: Unlike most feats, this feat must be taken at 1st level during character creation.
excerpt from Magic of Eberron, pg 51
this is related to Psiforged a warforged subtype, primarily those that take this feat and information can be found here or in Magic of Eberron pg 39

Nice. I will consider that feat. Thanks!
Also, my background has potentially taken a liberty with the core plot (details about Queen Dannel of Cyre). It's my understanding that the details of the Day of Mourning are left intentionally non-concrete so it can be utilized however is seen fit in specific games. If I have something there that isn't compatible with what you want to do, let me know and I can make adjustments.
The Nightmare Beast
This is Ouachitonian's submission. The background's probably a bit weak since I'm not terribly familiar with the Eberron setting.
Lambda-42 is an Aegis(Aberrant)/Fighter. Eventually I'll probably try to go into the Warforged Juggernaut prestige class on the fighter side, until then I'll enjoy the bonus feats and Armor/Weapon training (probably until 7 to get the ability to move at full speed in by Adamantine body). He wields a bec-de-corbin for the reach (and also because it's a hammer, which he likes as a follower of Onatar), but also has lots of natural attacks, so in combat he'll probably rely on those most and only use the hammer when reach is needed. As time goes on, as an Aberrant Aegis he can really go crazy with the natural attacks, but also go a lot of different directions customizing himself. I don't even know myself which way he'll go for sure (and in fact, his configuration can be changed overnight, so I can add a swim speed and water breathing if we've got underwater action upcoming etc.).
"Manticore" is something his squishy comrades have nicknamed him. He answers to it, but doesn't really use it himself.
Ictoo
Eberron is where I started my dnd adventures and I didn't get to spend a lot of time before moving to Pathfinder, so I'm very happy you're running this. (I also enjoy gasult just to see the interesting combinations people pull off)
So I'm dotting this, and I will be reading as much as I can to set up my backstory. I had a quick idea of a shifter (Shaman/shifter) or something nature I've been thinking more about my backstory first.
Excited to get this done.
Anderlorn
Since Craft Construct is a cheapout, I fixed it by taking Craft (Blacksmith) ... LOL
I already have Psiforged Plating (Body) but thank you! ... :-)
My character has been updated ... Nil'gnos "Tank" Akuech
I will probably be working on grammar and finalization until close.
Otto ir'Kaspardt
Here is my application. Otto is a Changeling Slayer / Medium. He lives through the identities of people he met who died from the Mourning.
Mediums, in particular Relic Channelers, are quite heavy to build, and I'm leaving for two weeks on vacation. As a result, I still have a few pieces left, such as the personalities of each spirit, their spells, and equipment.
I'll try to keep an eye on the thread, but I won't be able to do too much before I return (around the 25th).

Lambda 42 "Manticore"(Ouachitonian): Warforged, Aegis(Aberrant)/Fighter

I'll dot. Probably a soulknife on one side. Or not.
Unchained Rogue gets Weapon Finesse at 1st level and feat tax gives it to everyone. Would Un.Rogue get something instead of it? Or would they just gain 3rd level dex-to-damage earlier?
I was thinking about this the other day. Piranha Strike would be a sensible substitute, since for some reason Feat Taxes gives everyone Power Attack but not Piranha Strike (which is basically Power Attack with light weapons). Just a thought.
Rani Nakushi Agneyastra Arya
And here is Jon's submission, Reckt Lamplighter, Master Scout - a Crystal Warrior Aegis/Brutal Disrupter Cryptic. He's been built as very much a jack of all trades character, thanks to the joys of Gestalt, but is primarily an upfront fighter. Aegis allows him to avoid a lot of the penalties for being small while retaining many of the bonuses, so he's pretty hitty. But he can also use Psionics, scout, has plenty of knowledge and can even heal (although mostly just himself, right now - I do intend to expand into getting more healing as we level up). He can't fo some of it as well as a more focused character could, but it's going to be a rare day when he's useless.
...and when the cooking challenge happens it will be his time to shine.

How do warforged interact with fast healing? I have a wand of infernal healing but assuming I get in I don't know how helpful it will be for the warforged
If Fast Healing is sped up natural healing, it will not work. If not, then half Fast Healing with what I imagine to be half healing.
I do have a question, if the Warforged cast Body Adjustment, is that still going to be traditional healing for half heal or since the Warforged is using his mind to manifest Body Adjustment will it or be synchronize to heal him/her in full?
In addition, there is no psionic major object repair.
Josh.Ingle
Re: Unchained Rogue and Feat Tax, I've seen a lot of people say that you just get a combat feat for anything that a class would give you that Feat Tax rules remove. Piranha Strike isn't very useful because you can Power Attack with light weapons and it doesn't... actually build into anything. I'd probably toss UC Rogue something like Weapon Focus (Ignore +1 BAB prerequisite), but that's because I feel like rogue needs love badly.
On that note, throwing down a dot.
Tentative build idea: Scavenger Investigator/Inspired Blade Swashbuckler, someone who tried to become a wizard but didn't have enough magic for it, and makes up for that with ingenuity and SCIENCE!
Edit: Seems like this could be important: Would Craft (Clockwork) be a viable skill for Warforged repair checks? Someone's gotta fix these buckets of bolts when their psychic armor fails to keep them from getting shanked. :)

I can see why this might be the conclusion. My confusion lies in the fact that fast healing is a trait: either you have it or you don't. Magic is weird

Hey guys, Harm's Way here with my character submission.
Dorcas is a slayer/necromancer who hails from a clandestine Cyran unit focused on combating Karrnathi undead soldiers. He excels in combat against undead, however his range of skills and arcane utility means that he can still perform well in a variety of scenarios.
I still need to complete his background, and purchase equipment but I should have that finished in the next day or so.
Anderlorn
Two more things to think about for Psionic Heal to work fully on War Forged, Dreamscarred Psionics wasn't really made for constructs in mind. The Forgeborn, which is the Warforged equivalent, can receive full healing unless someone is not thinking my taking Oreheart. And second, Psionic Healing like Body Adjustment, is only a self heal and can not be applied to a group unlike Channel Heal or Divine Heal.
Anderlorn
"... can receive full healing unless someone is not thinking my taking Oreheart."
Should be ...
... can receive full healing unless someone is not thinking by taking Oreheart.
If Body Adjustment will not work fully on Warforged, can we use Forgeborn as another similar creation to the Warforged?
Actually, Warforged is more mechanical engineering with essence transfer or input. While, Forgeborn are bio-engineered beings which I can see also being on Eberron with a century of warfare.
If not for either, that's fine, adapt and overcome like any Merc will since they are usually not backed like normal boots on the Front Line.
Master Rahl
@Threll and Everyone - Fast healing from magical sources will work for warforged normally. As constructs can have it so can warforged.
@Anderlorn Sorry dude, I'm nixing Psiforged from the Alternate Racial Traits as the original had nothing to do with armor and was about modification to the warforged along the same lines as the silver tracery feat.
@Josh.Ingle Weapon Focus is an appropriate replacement. And craft clockwork is fine, it just means someone wanted you to look different.
Psionic healing I feel is manipulating the body and not actually tradition healing so it's full healing for a warforged.
As that should solve the matter of healing for now.
Personally I feel that forgedborn are more like cyborgs and wouldn't be a great replacement for warforged or alternative for them.
Master Rahl
By the way, I'm working on a super cool nickname for Dorcas; He wants to fit in with Wyrmling, Tank and Manticore and ever since Threll dropped the idea of code names I've been more than a little excited. Code names! Just like the A-Team!
Well "Bones" comes to mind.
By the way are you a reader of MHI, cause I recognize the name Dorcas and I'm wondering if the reference is the same?
