M COW

MOOOOOO!!!!!!!

M COW

Moooooo.

Hippa's cow wanders in.

M COW

MOOOOO!

M COW

MOOOOOOOO!

M COW

Icabhod looked out at the paniced humans and knew it would soon be time for him and his fellows to step up. Ever since the strange humans had rescued them from the death place, Icabhod knew he had a debt to repay so he could live another day. When they emerged from the large building where the city priests lived, he would silently follow and be ready to lend his horns to their cause.

M COW

Well I noticed that he was still posting on the boards and e-mailed him but didn't get a response. So I will just drop out here.

M COW

Early to mid-July he said

M COW

So is our DM coming back and restarting?

M COW

Yes. Icabhod is delivering a report about the dragon egg to the master.

M COW

Hmmm. Been a while since we have heard from our DM.

M COW

Icabhod will head to the den and begin writing up the report with an eye-catching title. He provides a summery of the events so the Master can get the relevant information quickly and then a more detailed account further on.

Once this is done, he heads to the laboratory and rings the bell to announce his presence.

M COW

I believe in the heading. 'Information on Green Dragon egg' will catch the eye.

M COW

I must be reporting to the Master about the dragon egg. I am sure you can feed Growl perfectly fine.

M COW

Oh blast it all! I forgot to put down the tarp! I'll have to use lye, stuff is foul..

M COW

Excellent suggestion my dear it will save on cleanup. I will write up the report for the master Icabhod will do just that as Bru desposes of the woman..

M COW

Well young lady, are you satisfied?

M COW

We can indeed keep our word. You deaths will be swift and the bodies unspoiled.

Aid another on Lili's roll

Aid another: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (13) + 3 = 16

M COW

I believe a harsher lesson is in order. Let us get chains to attach to the man's wrists and slide him through Growl's feeding door.Everytime you refuse to answer, we let Growl have some more. Explain to this man's family why he no longer has legs and how you could have prevented it.

M COW

Very well, no time like the present. Icabhod makes arrangements to bring in the captian.

Let us see what you can do, Leknep.

M COW

Icabhod wheels the captain into the room. Shall we introduce her to Growl as well? I am sure the big fellow has gone without entertainment for quite some time.

M COW

Hmm..She might know more indeed. For example, she proably has a better idea where the lair is and thus the egg.

M COW

Unfortunatly, that magic is not in my skill set.

M COW

Hmm..Maybe the fine lady knight would have more information on their mission.

M COW

Oh dear, Lenap. We better make sure the master is okay with us keeping the egg. Making him upset over the egg being eaten would be very, very bad.

Although, if we can keep the egg, we can make a fine omelet or even sell it for gold! A dragon's egg would give us plenty of gold for buying all sorts of things.

M COW

Indeed! I rather doubt any more of the hoard would be there, but the egg is a prize unto itself. We can get a horse, sorry Leknep, and bring it back in a wagon. I can go get enough padding to kep it safe.

M COW

Icabhod ponders the knight's words.

Know-Arcana: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (6) + 7 = 13

Use Knowledge of ages to reroll Knowledge check in last minute with +3 bonus
Know-Arcana: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (18) + 10 = 28

Hmm.Hmm.I don't think....Oh! Ah ha! Theristrix The Treescourge. A very impressive green dragon who lived in the south-east forests. Slain by the eagle knights and some adventurers. From what this lad is saying, there might be a dragon's egg there. Very interesting.

M COW

Sense motive: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (11) + 7 = 18
Oh come now! You are hardly being convincing about your companion's knowledge. Perhaps we should try something else on them? Perhaps a little of the Master's special recipe? After all, look what happened to me. Icabhod lifts his hood to show the ruins of his face.

Intimidate: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (12) + 3 = 15

M COW

He is correct. If you prove to be too stubbern, we will just have to let our goblin friend here go to wrok. Icabhod gestures to Leknep who is no doubt playing with the horse teeth. He would be more than happy to add your teeth to his collection.

M COW

Remember we should not get too graphic

Icabhod will be on hand to use Heal and if need be CLW to keep him concious.

This fellow here is quite serious, don't make us inflict any more harm upon you. Think of your good captain as well. Dear, dear, dear, it would get so much harder for her.

Sense Motive if needed: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (7) + 7 = 14

M COW

Don't be in such a rush my good fellow, such things will come in time. Icabhod sets out some gleaming insturments on a small table.

I am sure you know what these are. Icabhod sets out a drop cloth to catch....splatters.

Several chairs are set out for the ones not involved in the questioning to relax upon and a few glasses of wine to refresh parched throats are poured as well.

M COW

Very well. Icabhod will use Heal to try to get the unconcious one awake

Heal: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (7) + 7 = 14

M COW

In regards to the messenger that we were unable to stop, we should fortify the manor and keep a watch in case they attempt to mount a rescue. I will rouse the captives to awakefulness if not full health and let them ponder on their fate for a while before we question them. Time is of the essence though.

Icabhod will use 2 CLW to rouse the captives.
CLW on Captain: 1d8 + 3 ⇒ (3) + 3 = 6
CLW on soldier: 1d8 + 3 ⇒ (4) + 3 = 7

M COW

Much obliged my friend, it is such a delight to have someone who appriciates neatness. Icabhod will putter around doing various chores and get a detailed report of the expidition penned before getting the fine torture tools laid out. Then he retires for the night.

M COW

Indeed! I shall get them set up in the..guest rooms. Icabhod snaps his fingers and briskly has the lower servants drag the bodies downstairs.

Icabhod nods to the hulking for form of Growl as he passes by the strongly barred door leading to it's lair. Oh Growl! We will have guests in the interrorgation chamber in the morning. Be sure to be up bright and early so we can have the proper amounts of howls and door slamming.

WARGGGHHHHHHHHHH!!!

Excellent my good fellow.

Icabhod secures the prisoners and heads back upstaira, where he eyes the others no doubt loafing around again.

Oh get your feet off the couch! We had plenty of time to be uncivilized when we were outdoors.

Hrumph! Leave here for just a second and everyone has regressed. Ichabod changes into a clean butler outfit and gets back to a nice meditive session of dusting the books.

M COW

..and so, with captives to tow, the group makes their way back to The Master's manse, where they will receive accolades and gifts! Their hearts are aglow with the thoughts of the love that shall be theirs!

M COW

I am afraid that I have no skill with a longsword. We could sell it for coin if need be.

M COW

You shall have your time, Leknap. We must make sure they can talk to tell us about the..egg was it? Perhaps then we can have a nice scrambled egg for dinner.

M COW

Nibbling on a biscuit, Icabhod nods to Bru.That is indeed an effective way to aquire information. Icabhod finishes his tea and beginns packign his gear.Lilliana's skeleton should be reassembling now, so we can carry both soldiers to the castle.

Ready to head back up.

M COW

Icabhod pours out the tea and a few splashes of whiskey for everyone. I think the captain will have the most information, although she seems to be the sort who would be most resistant to questioning. A tin of biscuits is produced and Icabhod settles back, holding his teacup with one pinky out.

*sip* Ah! Civilization!

M COW

Splendid!

Icabhod begins setting up a small fire and a pot for water to boil. He expertly arranges a tea set(not the fine china of course) and a little brandy for extra kick.

I am afraid that beyond casual stroll along well tended trails, that I am hopeless in the wilds.

M COW

I am sure Leknap will want proper revenge on that horse. I will stabilize both soldiers so we can bring them back for questioning.

Heal captain: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (9) + 7 = 16
Heal soldier: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (16) + 7 = 23

There we go. Shall we break for tea before we return? I am pure and simple, in such a distress that a little nip is in order.

M COW

Quite, Perhaps Bru could engage while I try to retrive her.

M COW

Icabhod runs to X,4 and taps Bru with the wand of ILW

ILW: 1d8 + 1 ⇒ (6) + 1 = 7
map

M COW

Icabhod runs out of the bushes to V,8 so he can hopefully reach Bru soon.

M COW

It can only be expected of a goblin to act in such a manner. Pip! Pip!
