Zexil listens to the exchange.. A grim looks befalls his face.. "She will talk.. Oh yes.. Bring one of her knights.." Opening the door he makes way for Bru to force the man to his knees.. He looks at the captain.. "You will tell us what you know or i will cut his tounge out before you.. Then his eyes.. Speak!" He pulls a knife and his trusty pair of pliers..

Bru makes sure the knight he brings bonds are secure around his arms and legs, so that he is easy to grapple and move along.

Bru laughs at the Captain after Zexil speaks then says "It'll be fun to break the bones as well. And after we're done with him, we get to have fun breaking yours!"

I believe a harsher lesson is in order. Let us get chains to attach to the man's wrists and slide him through Growl's feeding door.Everytime you refuse to answer, we let Growl have some more. Explain to this man's family why he no longer has legs and how you could have prevented it.

«I see there is no depth you would not sink to» The Captain spits out between her gritted teeth «I should have expected it from the followers of fiends. Your attempts to intimidate me are pathetic - you are a disgrace to the soil you walk upon.» she takes a deep breath, trying to calm herself down. «Know this: there is none, among my men, who would not endure stoically a dozen of your tortures, if this means thwarting your plans. They may scream, and they may beg, but their heart will remain pure.»

She sighs, her tone more submissive «However, a good Captain thinks of her soldiers. I can sentence myself to suffer, but not my men... not because of my pride.» you see she starts to give in «I do not believe you to be capable of mercy – I know our days have come to an end. But maybe some of you still have an ounce of honor.»

She lifts her chin, proudly «Promise us a warrior’s death: a clean and quick execution, and a funeral pyre for my men – I won’t see their bodies used as puppets by the lot of you!»

«Spare us your cruel games, end this quickly – and I will tell you what you want.»

Zexil looks at the captain.. "Tell me the exact details of what you all were doing out here and to where and what message did your animal carry.. Do this and i promise i will not animate your corpses.. I will also promise you a swift death when the time comes for it.."

Diplomacy: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (1) + 1 = 2

Rofl... Well he meant it, but she still hates him hah..

Map of Karpad

Guys, since the situation is a bit tense, for every statement/promise that you make give me a bluff (if you're lying) or diplomacy (if you mean it) check

F Changeling Undead Lord 3

Lillianna, cringing at Zexil's honesty and how convincing he is, takes efforts to mitigate the situation.
Diplomacy: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (19) + 8 = 27
"Of course we shall honor our terms. Your men will not suffur further, and their bodies will be burnt and not animated. In fact, if you wish, you may observe one of their deaths, as to assuage any doubts you may have, before divulging the total of the information you will be giving us." Being completely genuine with the woman, Lillianna will accept missing out on animating the skeletons of these humans with the promise of a dragon egg.

"Now what information were you given about the location of the egg and dragon's lair? Are there traps, hazards, or natural inhabitants with which to deal? What did you communicate via your messenger, and when can further soldiers be expected to arrive?" Lillianna lists her question (after the execution and burning of one of the soldiers, if necessary).

M COW

We can indeed keep our word. You deaths will be swift and the bodies unspoiled.

Aid another on Lili's roll

Aid another: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (13) + 3 = 16

Male Goblin Bard 3

Leknep fails to understand the difference between the woman's request and what the group had planned for her before. He scratches furiously behind his ears, rather content to see the foul longshanks die either way. Just as long as he can use what left for his next routine!

M COW

Well young lady, are you satisfied?

Map of Karpad

The Captain listens to the last prayer of her man. She sings an hymn to Shelyn with him, to send him off in peace before his execution. She squints and you see a tear coming out of her blind eye upon the last word before he dies.

«Now, what you wish to know…» she takes a deep breath and recomposes herself «Yes, the blackbird was ready to fly away at the moment we hit troubles. It most likely has already delivered the news of our need for help to the Knight’s command. They will send more. More than you can handle.» she smirks, trying to imagine a veil of fear on your faces.

«The egg lies in the westernmost corner of the Arthfell Forest, among what was once Theristrix’s domains. The nature has begun claiming back that territory, I’d wager. I guess if you don’t die by the hands of my fellow Knights coming for the egg, you will all end up in an owlbear’s stomach.» she smiles, taunting you «That is a good thought for me. One I will cherish.»
«Of course you know Theristrix’s nest sits on a mighty sequoia – one that was once able to support all of her treasure. I’m sure you’ll be able to find it… if you can avoid the wolves and worgs, that is…»

"Though im you confidence is true, you have no idea what destruction our master can do.. Any amount of knights will be dealt with in the same manner.. Now, as im sure you know we have business to attend too.. Bru would you be so kind as to smash our lady friends head here?" Moving out of spatter range Zexil will watch the captains head pop like a melon..

"Now thats done, shall we report to the master and make plans for an egg hunt? Oh yes wasn't there another knight waiting for execution? Perhaps Growl would enjoy having some fun.."

F Changeling Undead Lord 3

"Or maybe just wring her neck?" Lillianna asks, with a glint in her that suggests he wants the body not too badly damaged for a particular reason. "Or we keep her and the other knight alive as hostages till we return with the egg, just in case we need more information?" Lillinna doesn't much care, but having at least one source of information to tap would be valuable for the time being.

"Let us go tell master and ready to set out." THe priestess is not pleased to have to go tramping roundin her armor again, but more than happy to bring the master a baby dragon egg.

M COW

Excellent suggestion my dear it will save on cleanup. I will write up the report for the master Icabhod will do just that as Bru desposes of the woman..

Bru will choke the life out of the captain as requested. Bru then says "Goblin, have fun with the other one."

Male Goblin Bard 3

Leknep jumps about giddily, reveling in the wake of the Big One's orders. Cheerily, the goblin approaches the nearby knight and pulls out his terrible, serrated (and rusty) dagger. From there, he performs his symphony of screams and bloodshed.

First, he runs the blade over the man's hamstring like the bow of an exquisitely played violin. He even tilts his head and frayed, bat-like ears to hear resonance of each cut. Continuing his newest "masterpiece", the eyes are gouged and them forced into the victim's mouth shortly before a sanguine waterfall is released from his neck. Ah, contemporary goblin music!

Afterward, Leknep chirps and chitters excitedly to himself as he goes to work taking trophies. Ears, fingers, toes and teeth - all seem of utmost importance and value. It seems the little monster performs the collection with uncharacteristic delicacy.

M COW

Oh blast it all! I forgot to put down the tarp! I'll have to use lye, stuff is foul..

Male Goblin Bard 3

The goblin grins up at the flustered butler, almost in an attempt at innocence. Of course, such a feat is impossible considering Leknep is covered from head to toe in the butchered knight's gore.

"Feed the pet, his belly grumbles!" he suggests, taking a few bites for himself.

M COW

I must be reporting to the Master about the dragon egg. I am sure you can feed Growl perfectly fine.

F Changeling Undead Lord 3

"Ooh! Yes, such important matters. I shall join you Icabhod." Lillianna perks up, having been rather distracted by Lekneep's display, and no hoping to avoid cleaning up after the charming little goblin.

Then to her companion, she snaps, "Carry. Come." pointing at the corpse of the captain, sighing that she promised not to animate the knight.

"Burning the bodies was more to prevent animation, but Growl can to that jsut as well, and his belly is Like a furnace," she agrees, twisting her word in a manner attempting to emulate that of her Infernal Lord.

Hopefully the master will be in a receiving mood.
"Icabhod, should we start with nes of the egg to get his attention?" If he does not wish to be disturbed, there had best be a good reason to do so.

M COW

I believe in the heading. 'Information on Green Dragon egg' will catch the eye.

M COW

Icabhod will head to the den and begin writing up the report with an eye-catching title. He provides a summery of the events so the Master can get the relevant information quickly and then a more detailed account further on.

Once this is done, he heads to the laboratory and rings the bell to announce his presence.

Male Goblin Bard 3

The goblin drags what remains he feels are no good for collection to the aberration beast-hound, gleefully watching the monster devour its meal like a macabre garbage disposal. During this time, Leknep tosses pieces he's severe to the pet while praising its every catch. He delights especially when Growl crunches on the man's bones.

The goblin's revelry can be heard in any of the nearby rooms as he enjoys his time with the Master's "best friend".
