The remaining knights scream in pain as dozens of tiny cuts appear on their skin as a result of the negative energy wave sent by Lilianna. Even Zexil feels a bit uneasy – but he is only grazed by the blasphemous power.
«You monsters will pay for this! We may die today, but our brothers will aveng…» the knight’s threat is cut short when Bru grabs his leg and wrestles him on the ground. The impact knocks the wind out of the knight’s chest, and he can’t manage to get out of the undead’s hold. However the skeletal orc is distracted in his fight, and the knight’s horse manages to chomp on his neck vertebrae. Bru doesn’t feel pain, but understands that his neck isn’t working as well now.
As Leknep retreats into the bushes, both the captain and her horse face Zexil. The gnome’s necromantic ray is shrugged off by the knight, who renovates her attacks. Thankfully the blindness and the many wounds made her imprecise, and once again she fails to impact. Better luck has her horse, who closes his jaw on Zexil’s forearm and bites off a piece of flesh.

"I'm sorry, we'll have to continue this conversation later," Lillianna replies to the Knight as he stops short. She brushes her hair out of her face, fingers grazing the birthmark and releasing another wave of energy that passes by the Knight and her living allys.
The horses and Captain, tho, feel somethin akin to a swarm of insisible gnats pass over them, biting at their flesh and maggots wriggling beneath their skin

Bursting out of the nearby foliage, the goblin squeaks with triumph. Squirming restlessly in each grubby little claw are a number of repulsive beetles. Smeared about the goblins face are the crunched remains of several more which he devoured in a fit of hunger.
Leknep's bulging eyes then take in the scene that seems to carry on about him before horror and realization dawn on the diminutive monster's filthy little face. "Longshanks still alive, huh? We butcher them good then!"he proclaims before realizing his wicked goblin blade is nowhere in sight.
Leknep retreats to the brush once again, this time to search for his weapon.

The last knight struggles under Bru’s hold: his half-hearted menace gets suffocated when the orc forces his face into the dirt and blocks his hands behind the back. His will to fight back is further weakened by another wave of negative energy that sucks off another bit of life force.
But his trusty steed doesn’t take well the demise of his master: again he bites Bru, and this time the large teeth of the beast close on the orc’s clavicle with enough force to snap it in two.
At the same time the Captain and Brightstar launch their last assault. You hear her pray «In the name of Shelyn, the Eternal Rose, I keep fighting for freedom and beaut… nngggh! » she grits her teeth as Lilianna’s channeling invests her «In the name of the God of Men, Aroden, who shall one day return in all his glory, I give my life for Andoren…aaahh! » Zexil’s bolt hits her in the gut. Blood gushes out of her mouth. She looks up to the sky with her blind eyes «I pledge my life and blade to the Golden Legion, and to the free republic of Andoren. I shall fight… nnngghh… tiran...tiranny and-anaaAAAAHH! » Ichabod’s projectile finds a weak spot in her armor and impact in her sternum. The brave captain falls off the horse and hits her head, unconscious, grasping for air, the mouth full of her own blood.
Brightstar whinnies in despair and rage, and he stomps all around Zexil, missing him by few inches with every hit.

Posting at work from phone, but I dont' believe that i can heal undead if I'm harming living. The channel either heals or harms, but never both at the same time. Undead just aren't damaged by negative energy if caught in the blast.
- I had also tried to select the knight bru was grapling to not hit with the channel, as I don't want to accidentally kill him.
will post later on a break
Bru the Wildborn
Ouch! so I'm at 1 hp... I need healing this round b4 the horse kills me.... also, is the horse's bite considered Bludgeon? because I have DR/5 Bludgeon, im sure the kick does.
Bru continues to hold the knight on the ground.
CMB: 1d20 + 6 + 5 ⇒ (8) + 6 + 5 = 19 *plus the knight has lower CMD since he's pinned this round*
Can I choke him out? didn't want to risk killing him, but the horse just kicked the hell outta me.
Zexil Blackheart
Both are considered Bludgeoning attacks :(, kinda sucks grappling too because it give you the negatives to ac as well.. Bad spot for ole Bru, but maybe Lilli can pop you a heal.. I would figure the horses to run once their masters were slain, esp considering the unnatural stuff their fighting and no handle animal checks happening to keep them stabile..
Lillianna Fairbrook
"Damned horses, Lillianna curses. "Rest now, Beast," she says to the horse, casting Ghoul's Touch, then approaching the creature to deliver the spell.
touch attack: 1d20 ⇒ 15
For 1d6 + 2 ⇒ (4) + 2 = 6 rounds
When she lays hwe hand on the horse it will fall to the ground in a stinking cloud, sickening living creatures within 10 ft (save lillianna)
If that doesn't work, then I'd just channel to heal Bru for 2d6 ⇒ (6, 5) = 11 cause I don't wanna provoke or cast drfensively...
Dagor Morthis
The horses whose masters are dead are fleeing.
The captain's horse is an animal companion, so he doesn't flee.
Zexil Blackheart
You can cast a touch and then move and deliver it correct.. Id say healing bru is prob the better option at this point.. Remember undead are destroyed at 0, so in 1hp of damage and hes rolling a new guy lol
Lillianna Fairbrook
But if the horse is paralyzed, and the Knight is Pinned (thus helpless), and anyone that comes near is sickened DC 15 fort save, btw, thus unable to attack, Bruu is safe, while it is pissible for the horse to get lucky and deal 10 damage to Bru.
"Icabhod, would you be a dear and fix up Bru, darling?" Lillianna asks as the horse falls stinking to the ground
Dagor Morthis
The horse's muscles freeze up as Lillianna's touch imbues the animal with ghoul stench. The horse stops mid-bite, panic growing in his eye.
His master still struggles under Bru's hold: the skeleton's claw closes around the knight's throat, slowly choking the breath out of him. With a suffocated groan, the Knight's eyes roll in his eyesockets and he passes out.
Still trying to defend his dying master, Brightstar renuvates his attack against Zexil - still to no result.
-Leknep still hasn't acted this round.
-Lillianna, I think Ghoul's touch does not grant a Save for the touched creature, only to the surrounding creatures to endure the stench, right?
-Bru, you can inflict upon a pinned adversary a one-handed attack - either lethal or non-lethal. I'll assume you make a non-lethal claw attack. Correct me if I'm wrong.
-The only active opponent is now Brightstar.

this is after leknep
Leknep Hecklemaw
With what little bravery the goblin can muster (not that much), Leknep bounds out of the foliage with his knife in one hand and a bunch of scurrying beetles in the other. He lunges toward the horse and attempts to jab at its stomach as best he can.
"Big ol' beast will soon be dead, make it's entrails into a bed!"

Didn't know if I could do non lethal with claw, but can't I still punch or make an unarmed sorta deal? Also would that be 1d3 or 1d4 since the claw bit? Change it down if needed.
Bru punches the knight in the ribs and says "It's time to go to bed Sleeping Beauty!"

Damage: You can inflict damage to your target equal to
your unarmed strike, a natural attack, or an attack made
with armor spikes or a light or one-handed weapon. This
damage can be either lethal or nonlethal.
anyway, I had already rolled your attack in my previous post. The knight already passed out, as I wrote.

So looks like its just the captains horse left..
Zexil looks over ath the captains body as he reloads a nother bolt.. "Someone try to stop the Captains bleeding if possible.."

I knew I should’ve kept posting the actions recap
ROUND 5
Cap’s horse – failed attack at Zexil
Lillianna - ???
Bru – goes to grab the captain??? if so you give the horse an AoO
Leknep – ??? - you were 1 round behind, so you still need to act in this round
Zexil – failed attack at the horse
Knight’s horse – paralyzed, and his rider is dying so he’ll flee
Ichabod – heals Bru
the cap’s horse acts first in initiative, so his attack in my last IC post was the beginning of this round. I still need a couple the actions from Lillianna and Leknep, and a confirmation from Bru.
Bru the Wildborn
Ah, I'm sorry.. I misunderstood.. I thought the horses ran off...is it just the captain's horse left? if so I do the following if not use attack for nearest horse.
Bru charges at the captain's horse.

Damage: 1d12 + 7 ⇒ (8) + 7 = 15

Dangit! I dunno why I'm so out of it...
Approaching, Lillianna preys to spare the captain for further questioning and torture and a wave of negative energy swarms forth from her.

Under the combined power of Baalzaebul’s blasphemous energy, channeled by Lillianna, and Bru’s mighty blow, even the brave steed Brightstar falls, whinnying in pain as the thick dark blood gushes out of him.
What just half a minute ago was a quiet roadside thicket is now the stage of a massacre: the three knights lie on their backs, covered in wounds of different nature but equal direness, their armors shattered and their sabers lying useless. The brave horses so carefully trained either shared their former masters’ fate or fled in horror after being attacked by your vile group.
Side by side, Brightstar and the Captain lie down on the blood-reddened grass, their groans increasingly fainter, their breath feebler, fighting with the cold death quickly approaching.
who was worried about Bru not being a tank enough? Jeez…
One of the knights is dead. The Captain and one other knight are dying. The last knight is wounded and unconscious. The horses are either dead or fleeing.
We are now out of round scansion, and in full roleplay mode. Please keep the torture tasteful… :D

I am sure Leknap will want proper revenge on that horse. I will stabilize both soldiers so we can bring them back for questioning.

"Blindfold 'em incase they wake up and make sure they are thoroughly searched and tied up. We can bring them for 'questioning' at the master's domain. We should have lots of 'negotiating' tools there."
Leknep Hecklemaw
The goblin positively squeals in delight as he goes about carving up the horses, painting crude pictures of a giant goblin overtaking knights and eating them one-by-one. As he separates flesh and sinew from bone, the tiny terror wails out in another bawdy song of ill content.
"Run the blade, skin the horse! Turn its bones to better 'course! Strips it's mane and pluck it's eyes, we be feasting well t'night! Master Mortis proves the best, we show them in death and flesh!"
Lillianna Fairbrook
While amused by the destruction wrought by the Goblin, in hindsight, it occurs to Lillianna, as she binds and blinds the prisoners, that the party now needs to transport the unconscious folks.
"Hmmm, now exactly are we going to et back to our master? tie then in a line and keep them blindfolded? It would be very slow-going, but we have little means of compelling them to stroll with us to or stronghold..."
"Perhaps some questioning now would be in order? It's about an hour before my poor skeleton is back on his feet, at which point it can carry this unconscious fellow," she suggests as Icabhod prepares the tea.
Zexil Blackheart
"I feel certain Bru can carry one after their striped of armor and the skele can carry another.. I say pick one of the knights and question him now.. Then let Leknep have him.."
Icabhod
Icabhod pours out the tea and a few splashes of whiskey for everyone. I think the captain will have the most information, although she seems to be the sort who would be most resistant to questioning. A tin of biscuits is produced and Icabhod settles back, holding his teacup with one pinky out.
*sip* Ah! Civilization!
Dagor Morthis
If you wish you can get ingredients for one more dose of every plant-based poison you already carry.
Looking among the corpses of the knights you find little of relevance. Their breastplate and sabres are of excellent craftsmanship but nonmagical in nature, and in the saddlebags there’s nothing more than outdoor equipment and trail rations, along with a handful of coins.
Much better you fare with while searching the captain. Her longbow, dagger and armor are mundane, but you find two magic items that pop up on your arcane vision: the longsword shows signs of a basic magical enhancement, and in the quiver you find three arrows who shine up to your magic-enhanced vision.
Zexil Blackheart
"Well the Knights gear isnt magical, but well made it seems. However the Captains blade and 3 of her arrows are magical in nature. I will determine there propeties when we have more time" With that he walks into the bushes looking for poison ingredients and a short time later he returns. "The area once again provides the neccessary components for a poison or two" He almost seems to be smiling when he returns.. With that he joins Icabhod for some tea..

"We could get the captain to talk if we make her watch torturing her knight.. she may be willing to die, but how will she feel about her men being tortured?" Bru suggests.
Zexil Blackheart
"I say we let the Master decide on information gathering techniques.. We completed the job we were sent here to do.."
Leknep Hecklemaw
The overjoyed and positively gore-drenched goblin returns to the rest of the group holding up fistfuls of horse teeth. A proud and malicious grin sweeps over his disturbing, balloonish head as he turns to peer at their prisoners. Securing the teeth in a handy belt pouch, Leknep draws his terrifyingly serrated dagger, licking his chops of horse blood.
"Mnm! I bet ugly longshanks taste much-much better! Just one?! I make seasoning meat with screams and tears!" he jabbers promisingly while looking over the collective of captives.
