Best advice I was ever given was to Not Get Deads. the sardonism oozes from Strigh's lips, I still think that is a very pertinent , salient point, So let's try to follow it. However, advice beyond that would be welcome. Best to go into a suicide mission knowing if its harikari or just suicide.

I am building a fetchling Mongrel mage. Basically he entered and exited the shadow realm so much growing up as his parents were merchants/emissaries/ etc or whatever between the shadow realm and the material realm that he was constantly exposed to magic. When it showed up in him, although weak it was very adaptable. When the sharding happened, he was forced out of the shadow realm and has of yet not been able to find his way back home or he was on the material plane and just never been able to return home.
That is what I am playing with currently.

Been a long time since I looked into shadowrun. Always wanted to play never had a group interested or some one that would gamemaster. Also been looking for a "live" game. I could make either day work. I have no disposition to anyone class or race so can move to anything needed.


PF2? I presume.


Strigh has no background now besides what he has currently bullet pointed. I am working on something more but it will take me a bit. I got in an auto mobile accident about 5 weeks or so ago and am still dealing with occasional thought loss and poor short term memory. So have some patience it takes time to heal but shouldn't interfere with game where I have amople opportunity to plan before I post.
I'm open to just about anything for background if some one or someones want to combine storytelling.


Strigh --reused alias but changed


basic background:
1. Grew up in a small town after being refused refuge in an orphanage.
2. 5 years old when taken to the orphanage.
3. Neither parent wanted him
4. Hung around the caravans doing odd jobs and begging for food
5. First real job was delivering some illicit goods to a “man” in a town not to far away.
6. Minor jobs kept improving to better and better as the difficulty increased as well.
7. Helped to retrieve many books and trinkets some illegal and some barely legal for many local “churches” in the area
8. Fell in “love” with an Elvin lass but after a decade or so she left with only a barely legible note. The note was to the effect that she left to avoid having to hurt him.
9. Has been seeking clarification as to what the intent of the note was or is and if the Lass is still alive
10. He has been told that Cormanthor has a library listing many of the inks and things that he has found out were included in the letter that was left.
11. Rumors have abounded as he has continued his search, that she was an agent of an evil Green dragon found in the surrounding areas.
12. Hoping to be chosen by elminster to go back so that he can hopefully also fill in some of the gaps and give credence or fallability to the rumors around the leaving of his love.

Lol I have been looking at a 1/2 elf rogue. I however will not be done by deadline but could be done by later today if that is approved. Let me know I am required to be at a meeting for about an hour.


Im mst and have responsibility 4 my kids as wife works at 6 but will try to get something up. Anything specifc work well with group being set up?

Curious....There are subdomains in the cleric's list of domains that would make for a fun druid "domain" instead of an animal companion. Would you allow me to choose from the cleric subdomains? I am looking at mushroom or erosion.

question...Would a duergar be allowed? I have a fun idea for a possible rogue or monk exiled druegar.

Are we allowed to use alternate racial traits for the aasimar and tiefling? If s o do we pick or roll? I think I would prefer to roll and add the randomness if I go with either class. Also are we able to take alternative racial abilities for all races?


Would a duergar be allowed? I have a concept with a monk that I have been wanting to figure out for awhile.

Appearance: standing at 5'4" and weighing in at a mere 122 lbs, Soviel is nothing much to look at or even some one to remember, except for his horns and pupilless eyes. His eye color isn't stationary and changes with his mood. His blue hair offers and interesting contrast to his light purple skin but isn't displeasing to the eye. His ram like horns are the most prominent feature on his head. They curl back and then forward giving the appearance of almost being a helmet. His hooves are usually covered by a layer of leather. The leather is from a wyvern skin. A whip is curled around his right shoulder almost as if it is a rope and after thought.

Personality: While rather calm, Soviel will defend himself or friends when threatened. He remains calm and almost emotionless during combat and prefers to keep distance between himself and his opponents whether by whip or spell. He will watch for an opportunity to do a little bit more damage and end the conflict quickly.
In social situations, he is more outgoing. He still remains calm but his eyes give away his true emotions. His speech is measured and controlled very closely. When his ire is aroused he uses biting words and sarcasm to attack before magical or physical altercation begins.

Relations: Griffin, Abeowin, and Ferthi are past compatriots to his searching excursions. They became seperated during their last adventure and have not sought each other out if they are still alive.

Background: The son of 2 prominent tieflings in the city of Water Deep, Soviel grew up use to priveleage and power. Then his life changed. Drow led a night time raid and his father was taken as a slave. Thus began the adventure and growth of Soviel. Pairing with another tiefling, a gnome, and a half-orc, he adventured into the underdark in an attempt to find and free his dad. Ultimately he was successful but his dad had been through so much as a slave that he gave up and allowed himself to die soon after rescue. This has prompted his son to take up arms against and seek to stop future raids from drow.
