I'd like to play as Militia, a young well trained vigilante (more along the Punisher lines than Daredevil)
Hero Name: Militia
Civilian Identity: Clayton "Clay" Lawrence (Currently Secret)
DoB: October 25th
Age: 26
Birthplace: Las Vegas (or equivalent), America
Ethnicity: mixed
Gender: Male
Power Origin: trained vigilante
Parents: Robert "Falcon" Lawrence (Father, ex Marine, MIA)
Cristina Feliciana(Mother, Lawyer), Lucas Hartman (stepfather, lawyer)
Public Image: Unknown so far.
Powers: well trained in hand to hand combat. Use some weapons/gadgets (bolas, small crossbow, smoke grenades, shurikens..)
Maybe you already know, or not, I've been reading your adventure from the start. So I'm quite familiar with your characters, how they interact. Zed is GMing another group I'm in, and I'm Gming my own adventure (Lil"Eschie Crypt of the Everflame with some unexpected twists.)
Here are the two characters I'm proposing:
a male Bloodrager, Lachen
Both are humans.
They just need to be leveled up, and get some more equipment. Lachen just need to get a new background (probably as a mercenary, and a Pathfinder in probation)
Waiting for your feedback on which character would be better for your team.
I tend to play Good or Neutral characters, 50/50 for each sex. Most (8 out of 13) of my current (or on the road to creation) characters are humans, and the 5 others are mainly core races (plus one Tiefling)
Most of my characters have a knack for jokes and puns, because I have an hard time IRL not to say something silly for time to time.
As for classes, they are mostly martial (Fighter or Paladin) or skill monkeys (Rogue, Bard, even one Cleric/Bard). I have some arcane characters in stock too (an Elven Alchemist, an Halfling Abjurer wizard and a human wizard.).
My divine classes characters are strictly clerics, no druid or oracle (one Half elf Cleric Bard of Calistria, one human cleric of Pharasma, both female). Strangely, I just realised that I'm a Scorpio IRL, who's supposedly attracted to Death and sex.
I don't think I'll ever play a Gunslinger, because the class doesn't attract me, and I'm not into psionics either.
I'd like to try an evil cleric once, probably worshipping Zon Kuthon or Urgathoa (Scorpio again?^^). I like the pure evil of theses gods.
I'm thinking about the character still, but got a question first: seeing the starting age (15-16 yo human age), must we apply the young template to our characters?
I really enjoy reading your adventures. The roleplayer group is very good, and the GM always find some unexpected ways to threaten you, and not always only physically.
PLus, ZOMBIES!
It has been a long time since I've been moved by a comic, maybe the last time was 20 years ago, after I've read a comic by French author Tardi "C'était la guerre des tranchées" ("It was the trenches war"- yeah, i'm French, and 40 years old.)
Magneto Testament has an hard setting ( The Holocaust),and besides the comic there are a few pages about this artist, unable to get her paintings back from the museum of Aushwitz:Dina Babbitt
It's a must read book, IMO, for historical reasons and to never forget.
I enjoyed reading the whole campaign so far, and would like to propose a Tiefling Rogue. Do you have access to the "Blood of Fiends" tome? It has interesting variations...
Nice team you have. Some really interesting characters. Do you mind if i read your stuff, as I had on other CC adventures? (Got a soft spot for that AP, i confess..)
I'm sorry, i'm not sure if it's the right place to post this.
Here's my trouble: i've created my profile using an old Hotmail address. It has been hacked a while ago (maybe a few months, wasn't used much) and I can't access it anymore.
I wouldn't like to be unable to post and play if anything happened with my old account, as i'm involved in two PBF adventures for the time being.
Is there a way to switch my account on another mail adress (on gmail for example)and transfer my characters on this new account or is it too much trouble?
DM Jelani stuff is top notch. I have read all his Carrion Crown adventure so far. His team of players on this adventure is, to say the least, excellent.
Don't know if I would have the time to join, but i'll consider this thoughfully.
I really got caught up by the story telling, wheter by the GM or the players.
I still cant un-see the pic after Tibi tried to put out the fire in the Town House with his handkerchief...^^
And I still wonder why B'Yelka never thought of this song for the Bonbon-carrying witch..

(yeah, B'yelaka and Tibideau are my -slight- favorites, even if i like each character!)
Btw, I'm just starting to play another Carrion Crown campaign, hope it will be as pleasant to read as yours!
My apologies for popping in without being a "part of the cast", as B"Yelka would say..
I just want to say that I totally enjoy reading your adventure: I love the roleplay and the characters, the way they interact: they are totally believable, and I "feel" the story as I read it.
Congratulations to all of you and keep up the good work!
I REALLY like the idea, and I'll read your adventure, whatever happens.
If there are still some spots free, i'd like to join the team and create an half elf bard or sorcerer named Mally Molone, daughter of a fisherman and fishmonger herself, known for singing in the streets about cockles and mussles alive while wheeling her wheelbarrow. ;-)
Will work on stats and stuff tonight, as i'm not at home currently and cant access my books.
I'd like to propose this character, but i don't have my books just now, so it is incomplete:
Hadin "The Pale" Cassoren
Hu male Paladin of Erastil
LG
Str 14
dex 10
Con 14
Int 10
Wis 14
Cha 14
Still have the +2 bonus for race to choose, between Con, Cha and Int most probaby
Personality
Hadin Cassoren would never dare to think of himself of a Paladin. He's not a shiny knight in armor, there's not a trace of pure, noble blood in his vein. He's just a normal peasant's son, burly, sun tanned and wrinkled, with calloused hands from hard days of work, trying to do his best to help his fellows at home or around
Some of the people grins at him, calling him "Hadin the Pale", but it's a small trial for Cassoren temper, and not much harm is done: as long as the people at home know that whatever the name they call him, he 'll be by their side as soon as possible.
Hadin don't think too much of great things, like royalty, epic tales of chilvary, and dragon's hoards. He's a man a small, kind deeds done, like cutting wood for a widow when winter comes, giving some of his spare money to an hungry family, working in the fields to help a wounded farmer.
He's quite muscular for his near 6 feet frame, but only from healthy, outdoor activities. He has a basic, down to earth attitude, and strive to be an example for the community.
Honest and kind, he's not naive, even if not particulary bright: what kind of shield let the venomous arrows of hate and treachery pass through and harm the people it's supposed to protect?
as a note, i'd like, if i'm chosen, to change the "Knowledge: Nobility" in "Knowledge: Local" to better reflect this background
Would like to join as Maedre Tollmar, half elf female Bard worshipping Calistria.
Maedre always suffered from an acute wanderlust, and she came to know Prof Lorrimar's name and works from a stranger's tale in a calm tavern. At first she thought nothing much about it. Then, months later, she found a book praising the Professor's deeds in a library, and perused into it from sheer curiosity.
Collecting infos about Lorrimar became something like an hobby for her, and she learned to respect him and his work without ever having the chance to meet him actually.
Puttin" some money aside, sometimes working the bars as an entertainer, sometimes as a Sacred Prostitute, she started to dream about meeting the man, and to write about him the greatest songs.
Alas, as she was on her way, she learned about his untimely demise. Most of the road's dirt being already eaten, she wanted to pay her last respects to Lorrimar, maybe to write a mourning song that would establish his memory for eternity (or at least gain her a few coins...)
Physically, Maedre is quite short for an half elf, being closer to a human woman in size than a full elf. She is dark haired, wearing her long hair in a ponytail. She enjoys form-fitting (sometimes even revealing) clothes, with a wasp-alike brooch on her breasts holding her top. She has gray eyes, not a very interesting color in her opinion, so she tries to take full advantage of her mouth, enhancing it with make up.
(Will post stats later, as I'm not at home with my books)
Stats:
Str 11 Dex 13 Co 12 Int 12 Wis 15 Cha 14
Total points 20
Racial bonus Cha +2 (16)
Domains Charm, Chaos
Background
Vanea is the daughter of an elf girl who got seduced by a human guard from Redwall, years ago. She was raised into the forest by her mother's family.
Her mother died during childbirth and having no clue about who may be her father, she soon understood, as a teenager, that the local elves didn't like her, didn't accept her.
She sought acceptance by becoming a priest, and even if her status improved a little, its still wasn't much warmer.
So the left her "tribe" and got back to Redwall to seek who may be her father, without much clues about it.
Personality
Happy going, smiling, good looking, overly flirtatious... at the surface.
Ill at ease with old human males, especially those in position of authority.
Seeking respect and acceptance.
I'd like to play either a Female human Rogue, daughter of a lay woman (or cleric) from a Pharasma temple, seeking to escape a gloomy life for herself as a probable cleric ("I see dead people"), with either the "Caretaker" or "Child of the Temple" trait
** spoiler omitted **
OR
an Half Elf female Bard , worshipping Calistrae, with the trait "Charming"
** spoiler omitted **
LoF traits chosen:
Human Rogue:Historian
half Elf Bard: Elven Reflexes
