Dantrian Almaeus |

If we have any loot to sell, we should do that. If Dantrian's presence isn't needed, he can spend the remainder of the day turning his existing cure light wounds extract into a potion. (It takes a whole flipping day to brew a potion! Madness!)
Have we figured how we're splitting loot up? Did we have that discussion yet? I don't recall.
Purchasing more holy water would probably be wise.
The +1 handaxe we found is a light weapon, would it suit Drosil best if it's not yet been claimed?

B'yelka Morfaine |

B'yelka is not a 'loot build' by any stretch of the imagination. In fact, given cash she is likely to blow it on clothes and comfort.
More expendables, Potions/Holy Water/Alchemist's fire sound smart to me!
I do not have an issue with a group fund coupled with individual funds. For example, the hunk of cash we got (500gold?) could be split 50 to each, and a pool of 200 reserved for group expenses.
The hatchet is Martial and Dros doesn't have the proficiency. :( I could be wrong, though.
It would be best I think if Anton and Drosil went to F.Grimburrow. Tibi and B'yelka could go get mundane expendables (and some fabulous purple gypsy attire for the beautiful boy). Dantrian can stay and make his potions and Janos can come with B'yelka, maybe we can find him something nice to wear? She still feels bad about calling him names :(

Janos Ardeal |

As much as Janos would normally rather go with Anton and Dros, I'm seeing RP gold in him going with B'yelka clothes shopping. Plus with the recent conversations, maybe he wants some time away from Anton and Dantrian.
I'll compile the loot list later today.

Janos Ardeal |

Ok, this is the loot from Harrowstone. Let me know if you want to go back to the loot from the crypt.
Cash Box:
500gp
4 Potions of Cure Moderate Wounds
3 Potions of Lesser Restoration
2 potions of Remove Disease
Inventory Room:
Masterwork Thieve's Tools -> Dantrian
Bronze War Medallion (40gp)
Painting of Stavian I (100 gp) -> Tibideau
Silver hair clips (35 gp) -> B'Yelka
Masterwork punching dagger
12 MW shurikens
Masterwork silver war razor
Wand of lesser restoration (12 charges) -> Anton
Criminal Items:
Lopper's Handaxe (+1 handaxe) -> Janos
Charlatan's Holy Symbols
Splatterman's Spellbook -> Dantrian
Mosswater Marauder's smith's hammer (MW Light Mace, +2 to crafting)
Piper's Silver Flute
I'm good selling whatever we need to. I'm sure there are some items, scroll, etc. that we can use. Plus we could buy supplies for Dantrian to make potions.

B'yelka Morfaine |

Dispositions:
Inventory Room:
$ Bronze War Medallion (40gp)
Masterwork punching dagger -> Accuracy is Damage in the long run, I think we are all proficient with Simples, so this may not be a bad choice for B'yelka, Dros, or even Tibi though I can see him holding it between pinched fingers while turning his head, "Eww! it's heavy!
$ 12 MW shurikens
Masterwork silver war razor -> Needs a home; Silver is too valuable a tool to just get rid of... maybe not the best weapon, but it'll bypass DR
* * *
In an off topic discussion, I was thinking that Jelani offered us Commonplace Guns and not one of us took advantage of it... I thought about B'yelka picking up a pistol. The only issue I see with it is the feats required. Martial Proficiency, Point Blank Shot, Precise Shot would mean that even starting now (5th level ;) ) she would not be any good with them until 9th level, and that is a looooong ways off. The other answer would be to go "Mysterious Stranger/Gunslinger" and get all the benefits; one less feat to spend, Grit (based on CHA that she has in abundance), Deeds and a boost to her Fort Saves.
The problem is that I do this all the time: I have an *image* for a character and then during play I lose track of the mechanics. I really start to look for cool things to do. And admit it, B'yelka with a pistol on her hip would be pretty cool steampunk style :) The disadvantages are easy to see in this case. She would sacrifice a Bard level to do minimal damage (weee... d8). Losing the spells would hurt her in her role of party support (I know none of want to wait the extra level for Haste ;) )
Anyway, just an idea but I would appreciate some expert (?) feedback :)

Tibideau Maroon LeClerc |

Thanks a lot for compiling that list, Janos!
I think we shouldn't waste the dagger on Tibideau's 1d4-2 :)
Tibideau doesn't have to keep the painting, we can sell it if it's possible. Even he would admit that given their current circumstances, scrolls are more valuable than the painting.
If everyone doesn't mind I'd like to buy another scroll of Mage Armor, maybe a few others like Cure Light, Cure Moderate Wounds and Glitterdust.

Janos Ardeal |

I suggest everyone compile a list of things they want/need and we can go shopping. Maybe that's what Janos will do along with assisting in clothes shopping. He does need a new cloak...
Janos' needs:
Breastplate (and sell scale mail)
Longbow (and sell shortbow)
Cloak

Anton Klasnic |

Anton's main priority is a composite masterwork longbow. He's saving for that right now. The arrows we found are very useful and hopefully will carry through the prison but in the long run obviously a magic bow would be the shiznits.

Dantrian Almaeus |

Here's the spreadsheet I put together. I haven't poured through the thread, just built it off each character's profile page and Janos' post a few blocks up. I hope it's useful!
Let me know if I need to adjust anything or add stuff. Like for B'yelka, I had no idea how to quantify your Chelish gown. =)

Anton Klasnic |

Great job Dantrian! This is going to be really helpful. Are you ok to maintain it?
There are a couple of things missing for Anton but its my fault because I haven't fully updated his profile - I'm doing that now.
6 silver arrows
4 +1 ghost touch arrows
2 +1 undead bane arrows
1 scroll of protection from evil

Janos Ardeal |

Everyone, make sure you have your items from this list on your sheet or declare them for party stores.
Dang, that +1 handaxe really ups Janos' portion. And we don't even know what sort of bad juju it might do. Also, I had the +1 arrows wrong on my sheet. Janos has 4, not 6.
False Crypt:
12 Silver Arrows -> 6 to Anton, 6 to Janos
10 +1 Arrows -> 6 to Anton, 4 to Janos
5 +1 Ghost Touch Arrows -> 5 to Anton
2 +1 Undead Bane -> Anton
4 sunrods -> Anton, Janos, Dantrian, Drosil
6 flasks of holy water -> Dantrian
5 potions of Cure Light Wounds -> 1 to each except...Anton? Since he has Lay on Hands?
2 Potions of Lesser Restoration -> Dantrian and Drosil
1 Scroll of Detect Undead -> Tibideau
2 Scrolls of Hide from Undead -> B'yelka
1 Scroll of Protection from Evil -> Anton
Spirit Board/Planchette
4 iron/glass vials of swirling vapor

Dantrian Almaeus |

Added the 2 lesser restoration potions (Drosil's and Dantrian's) to the party stores, can't believe I forgot the spirit planchette and the haunt siphons though. Durr.
Let me know if it'd be preferable to take the lesser restoration potions and wand and put them in characters' tabs instead.

Dantrian Almaeus |

Should we maintain individual shares of the gold or just move all the gp over to the party stores?
Edit: I folded everyone's personal gp's into the party stores just for ease of mathiness.
Prior to anything

Dantrian Almaeus |

I consolidated all the healing items (potions, wands, scrolls) into the party stores. Would we rather spread them to our individual inventories to keep track of who has some (or any) on their person in case someone needs to draw one during a fight? Or can we assume if it's in the party stores that whoever draws it had it in their gear the whole time?
Does that make sense?
Since the healing stuff is shared as needed, it seemed more fair to keep it all in the party stores for wealth tracking, but it occurred to me after the fact we might want more precision than that in some tactical situations.
Thoughts? Suggestions?

Anton Klasnic |

If GM agrees the simplicity of keeping everything in party stores appeals to me. Its true that it would be convenient if Anton took a load of dexterity damage and handily carried the restoration wand. So I can see both sides of the arguement, I guess as long as we dont abuse it which I know we wouldn't, then it should be ok.

Tibideau Maroon LeClerc |

Just to mention it, since others have mentioned their future plans, at some point Tibideau would like a Headband of Vast Intelligence. Long term, a Ring of Protection. Long long term, a Metamagic rod or two.

Dantrian Almaeus |

Understood. I think I came up with a solution that doesn't skew the personal wealth totals. I broke up the Consumables portion of each sheet into Consumables and Restoratives. The monetary value of items in the restoratives section isn't factored into the character's personal wealth totals, so that should give us a more accurate view of where each of us is at.
We have 4 cure light wounds scrolls and 1 cure moderate wounds scroll left, but I'm not sure if they're arcane or divine or who should get them.
I divvied up the cure light wounds potions back to their original owners, then distributed the remaining 2 as well as the cure moderate wounds potions to the four front-liners (Anton, Drosil, Dantrian, Janos). Anton got the wand of lesser restoration while the rest of us each got a potion of lesser restoration. Janos and Anton each got one of the remove disease potions.
Let me know who should get these scrolls and we'll be all set!

B'yelka Morfaine |

(per p458 of the CRB Spell Completion and Spell Trigger items do not differentiate between Arcane and Divine. That is only found under the random loot tables as a way to denote where to roll (further) for what spells on on Scrolls or Wands. At least that is my take on it :) )
B'yelka spends 30 Gold on what amounts to another Courtier's Outfit. Hopefully this one will be more 'Ustalavan' in style, though she will still wear her Chelish Corset over the blouse, under the coat. B'yelka Rockin' the Horror Motif

Anton Klasnic |

From my perspective the CMW potion you've give to Anton would sit better with Drosil, Dantrian or Janos. Anton fully intends on staying back with his bow and if the worst happens can heal himself fairly reliably with lay on hands.

DM Jelani |

No, technically, whoever makes the scroll determines if it's arcane or divine. Then only that type of caster can use it.
To have any chance of activating a scroll spell, the scroll user must meet the following requirements.
The spell must be of the correct type (arcane or divine). Arcane spellcasters (wizards, sorcerers, and bards) can only use scrolls containing arcane spells, and divine spellcasters (clerics, druids, paladins, and rangers) can only use scrolls containing divine spells. (The type of scroll a character creates is also determined by his class.)
The user must have the spell on her class list.
The user must have the requisite ability score.
But I think that's dumb. Why can a cleric of Sarenrae read a prayer off a scroll that a cleric wrote praying to Rogavug, but not one that a witch wrote? Seems stupid to me, and needlessly complicating things, and makes it harder for PCs to use the loot they get. All bad in my book. So f*ck it.

Dantrian Almaeus |

Right!
I like it.
Janos gets the 2nd cure moderate wounds potion, the cure light wounds scrolls get split evenly between Tibideau and B'yelka and...
B'yelka = 1 / Tibideau = 2
1d2 ⇒ 1
B'yelka gets the scroll of cure moderate wounds! Huzzah!
-30gp from party stores (B'yelka's 2nd courtier's outfit)

Tibideau Maroon LeClerc |

Okay on divvying up the healing scrolls. I assume no one minds if I take the scrolls of Glitterdust and Mage Armos?
So I have two scrolls of cure light, and B'yelka has one scroll of cure light ad two scrolls of cure mod, correct?
So, my scrolls are:
Infernal Healing x1
Glitterdust x1
Mage Armor x1
Cure Light x2
And I still have a scroll of Summon Monster 1, another Cure Light and another Mage Armor on my sheet.
So totals for my scrolls:
Summon Monster 1 x1
Glitterdust x1
Mage Armor x2
Cure Light x3
Infernal Healing x1
I've also got a potion of cure light on my sheet.

Dantrian Almaeus |

If it was on your profile page I've already factored it in.
From what I was able to put together, we currently have a total of 4 scrolls of cure light and 1 scroll of cure moderate. (I gave you 2 of the cure lights and B'yelka the other two along with the cure moderate since you also have a scroll of infernal healing).
You also acquired a scroll of detect undead, which I have on your tab in the inventory log.
If I'm off on the scroll count, let me know, but I'm pretty confident I snagged them all between everyone's profile page and Janos' loot summaries. I'm quite fallible though, so let me know if I missed some somewhere!
Inventory Log (as of this post)

Tibideau Maroon LeClerc |

Ah, I forgot about the scroll of Detect Undead. Thanks for the reminder! I'll go ahead and fully update my own sheet.
@Everyone: I went ahead and prepared two Glitterdusts instead of a Cure Mod and a Glitterdust for my level 2 spells. All my level 1 spells for the day are healing, and with all our scrolls and potions I figured it was wisest to have 3 Glitterdusts available in case 1 fails, and in case we face more invisible enemies. If we faced another invisible enemy and I didn't have any Glitterdust left, my witch guilt would set in big time!

B'yelka Morfaine |

Witch Gilt? Well, you do sparkle...
With Lingering Performance we should be Inspired for a longer delve. There is such a *huge* change in PC capability between even 2nd to 3rd levels! (btw, I despise 1st level with a passion! lol)

DM Jelani |

Guys, I'd like to avoid the barebones kind of OOC action descriptions I got this past round. I know this is kind of a speedbump combat, but please describe your actions fully in character when we are in combat, and then stick minimal OOC at the bottom. Just reads a lot more nicely that way, and saves me work when the time comes for summary posts.
