That is a lot of D-Listers

My guess for survivors?

Harley(of course)
Flagg
Waller
King Shark (I'MMM A SHARRKKKKKKK!)
One schmuk (rooting for Polkadot Man)

Betting on TDK being Batman (The Dark Knight) keeping an eye on everything.

According to Wiki for Suicide squad, TDK is Arms Fall Off Boy, a failed Legion of Super Heroes candidate from the planet Lallor.
So what is a 30th century super hero candidate doing in the 20th century?

WHAT?!?!

MY MAIN MAN ARM FALL OFF BOY?!?!

Charles,

I'm guessing he got stuck in the past or else this is like his distant ancestor. Maybe.

And yes Freehold, It's Arms Fall Off Boy as The Detactable Kid.

...its Nathan Fillion.

I am now conflicted.

I'm not conflicted. I think Fillion's a great choice.

Nathan Fillion is an amazing actor. Do not punish him for being associated with a director you don't like, especially since that director is not the director of this movie. (Indeed, Nathan Fillion's Dogberry is the saving grace of that director you don't like's take on "Much Ado About Nothing," which was otherwise pretty awful, in spite of a very good, but mostly miscasted cast. And I don't automatically hate the directorial work of said director--some of his writing and direction has been good--even though I'm pretty sure that in his regular life he is a douche.) Indeed, I would urge trusting the director of this movie, James Gunn, to have approved the casting with good reason.

On another subject, I know I am one of about four people, but I am jazzed about Savant being in this movie.

Overall the casting and the characters look incredible.

I am concerned that the movies body count is going to be silly.

Oh, come on, there was a wind advisory!

I'd say listen to the captain. :) also just because there's a high body count, doesn't mean it can't be fun.

I think this is the first time I've seen a trailer that does nothing but show who's in it. And it works.
More Viola Davis as Amanda Waller is very good thing.

Whaaaa? In a movie called Suicide Squad? Where all the characters are terrible and they get explosives attached to their neck and the person who controls the explosives is a ruthless, pragmatic as f&!# gets-s&#@-done boss? What could possibly go wrong?

I didn't look it up, but I think most of them are still alive.

Spoiler:
Although in the comic Ratman killed Thinker.

Charles,

They might still be alive too. Somewhere...in the vastness of the Multiverse. ;)

:P

Crisis on Infinite Earths was supposed to correct all the problems by having only one universe.
But they brought back the multiverse.
Which lead to Flashpoint, New 52, Rebirth and whatever you want to call Doomsday Clock, Heroes in Crisis and whatever else has been happening the last 24 months.

In the last 24 months, we got cra-cra. But some of it is good cra-cra if you ask me. ;)

That sounds pretty convoluted, are you sure you're talking about comic books, that doesn't sound like something they'd do.

OH yeah, half of these folks will be lucky if they survive the title credits.

My guess is the core team is going to include Harley, Bloodsport, Captain Boomerang, King Shark, Ratcatcher and maybe a couple of others

Well and Waller obviously

Flagg has a higher chance since he is often team captain/handler.
