This isn't about knowing the command word for the item, it's about knowing the specific passwords that the Queen would have created for each occupant of the mirror. Unless she's left a list of her passwords in her desk drawer, I don't think any Knowledge check is going to give that to us.

Day Job - Craft Alchemy: 1d20 + 33 ⇒ (14) + 33 = 47 Boon gives me +100% gold, for a total of 300 gp, which I see you've already noted on my chronicle - thx!
Faction card: I think the answer is no, but in order of descending priority did we:
* recover a cursed item
* recover a spellbook
* can I try to recruit a spellcaster (the dragon we met early on?) to the Dark Archive? Knowledge (Arcana) DC 15+17=32: 1d20 + 38 ⇒ (6) + 38 = 44
* recover a named text
Failing all of the above, I think I can check "acquire a unique magic item and deliver it safely to the Society" for the Iron Lash?

Defending Bone takes 20 points of damage off of the 4 arrows from the succubus archer on the shantak, which translates to 33 dmg. Agata still has 19 temp hp, so this translates to 14 points of actual hp dmg from her normal full amount of 136.
DC 27 Will vs Negative dmg: 1d20 + 23 ⇒ (10) + 23 = 33 Half dmg is 12 but Agata has resistance 10 vs Negative so this is a net dmg of 2. She is now at -16 from her baseline of 136.
Sweet Mawd DC 27 Will vs Negative dmg: 1d20 + 18 ⇒ (19) + 18 = 37 12 points of dmg to Sweet Mawd come off of her temp hp, leaving her with 3 temp hp

I'm very happy with the way you've been GM-ing and I agree completely that most of these older scenarios and mods are too easy for modern optimized characters.

There’s nothing about being armed with your hands that prevents you from using unarmed strikes with other body parts if you’ve got them. I think in this instance your GM was just wrong.

GM, just to clarify, one of the amazing things about Evil Eye is that it works even if they make their save (but only for 1 round). And, since I have a move action remaining I can immediately cackle to extend the duration by one round. Which means that Izmaria is also hexed (along with the general) though her evil eye currently expires before Agata's turn on round 3 (but I can cackle again to further extend it). It is mind-affecting so if they are immune (kinda amazed in a final boss fight that they aren't, especially after all the undead we've faced, but not complaining!) then it won't do anything at all.
Also, the effect of the hex is -4 on their saves (just noting that because if I put other hexes on them in future rounds - including possibly other versions of Evil Eye - those will have other effects).

17 points of fire dmg come off of Agata's temp hp. She now has 19 temp hp remaining.
Agata winks at the Queen and then casts an equally malevolent glance at her handyman, the general. "Who's ready to party!?!"
Using the Evil Eye hex on both Izmaria and the General (Split Hex feat allows her to affect two subjects with the hex). She also uses the Amplified Hex feat (burning a level 1 spell, Blend) to increase the DC by 1 to 30.
Both Izmaria and the General have to make a DC 30 Will save or have a -4 penalty to their saves. On a failure the duration is 14 rounds. On a success the duration is still 1 round (and then increased by 1 round from cackle). This is a mind-affecting effect but as far as I've understood, neither of them are immune to mind-affecting.
Sweet Mawd and Agata both step 5' out of the range of the mount's hooves (unless it has 15' reach?); then the tiny azata pops a scroll out of her wrist sheath and casts Haste upon her comrades.
Scroll-Haste only lasts 5 rounds so it will expire before Agata's turn on round 6 and can only target 5 characters. Zaarah is just out of range, so the spell will haste: Flint, Theodoric, Marta, Alie, and Agata.
Then Agata swiftly sends a bolt of negative energy at the Queen.

Agata has provided you Mind Blank (which also gives immunity to fear/charm) and Heroic Invocation, and can give you Heroism if someone else hasn't already done so. Also, Delay Poison Communal. The fortune hex is no longer in effect. I don't think Haste has been activated yet (Sweet Mawd will use a scroll to cast it once her turn comes around unless something horrible has happened).

GM, would you mind resposting what we earlier learned from Knowledge checks about Betcezia and the General? And what sorts of new Knowledge checks would be appropriate for the Queen or anything else we might be interested in in the room? Also, what's the story with the terrain in the room? It looks like there are walkways - are the spaces aside from the walkways bottomless pits? Can flyers just ignore the distinction?

Wow, I'm appalled by how far behind I've fallen. I'm so sorry everyone - I hate to flake out but the last few weeks have just been too hectic.
I'm going to post my catch up prior to the current encounter here in Discussion so as not to bog down the Gameplay thread.
First, I need to update Agata and Sweet Mawd to reflect the items that were destroyed by Mage's Disjunction.
Sweet Mawd is easy - she only had one item that was permanently destroyed (1 scroll of lesser restoration) and if the GM's kind folio reroll applies to her too then even that scroll is saved from destruction. The rest of her items and spells that were suppressed or dispelled are active again once the Disjunction ends and once a new set of daily buffs are cast after the Fairy Ring Retreat.
Agata is a bit trickier and needs some updating. Of the items on her destruct list, these ones were all in her Handy Haversack and are therefore unscathed: Riffle Scroll of Heal, Rod of Grasping Hexes, Scroll of Blend, Scroll Unseen Servant, and Lesser Talisman of Warrior's courage (this is her spare - the one she's wearing I rolled a nat 2 and it therefore survives). That leaves her Greater Plague Rat Belt and her runeward tattoo (transmutation) on the destruct list. I'll use the GM's kind folio reroll to save the Belt, leaving her transmutation tattoo destroyed (but her other seven runeward tattoos still operative).
Second, after resting in the Fairy Ring, Agata casts her usual assortment of buff spells:

Re the discussion about whether to pause the action and resume for a new day: Agata still has Fairy Ring Retreat available to cast whenever the group is ready. If we do take this course, she'll continue with her usual allotment of spells and long term buffs except that she'll prep a Quickened Dimension Door (level 8) in place of Stormbolts (which doesn't seem to be too useful with so many undead around).

Btw, I may be misreading Mage's Disjunction but I think if a magic item made its save that it continues to function even during the spell's duration. It's only spells that are ended. Or maybe I misread?

Noting Flint's comment about items in a Handy Haversack not being permanently destroyed on a 1, if that's correct (GM, yes?), then I think only Agata's Greater Plague Rat Belt (worn) and runeward tattoo (transmutation) should be destroyed, as the other nat 1 rolls were all for stored items.

I posted a question in Discussion about whether magic items that apply to saves (e.g. Cloak of Resistance) still give their benefits for the rolls for all our magic items. I'm going to roll the saves for the other items (the ones that don't impact saves) first, on the assumption that I can choose the order to make the rolls, and will therefore include those bonuses on the initial set of rolls. Then I'll roll the saves for the other items that do effect saves afterwards.

If I'm reading Mage's Disjunction correctly, the following things happen:
a) All active spells (Overland Flight, Heroism, etc.) immediately come to an end (with no save).
b) For each permanent magic item we possess we make a Will save (DC 23 in this case).
b1) On a nat 1, the item is destroyed
b2) On a fail, the item becomes normal for the duration of the spell (1 minute/level)
b3) On a pass, the item continues to function as its normal magical self. Yes?
Lastly, do our magic items apply to these saves? For example, does Cloak of Resistance add its bonus to the Will save to not be disjoined (not only for itself, but for the rest of our items)?

I was traveling yesterday and am just getting caught up on all the mayhem. I won't have a chance to make my saves and update my PC until later tonight or tomorrow morning.
Before doing that, Sweet Mawd is carrying a scroll of Anti-Magic Field. Is there anything that might have alerted us beforehand to have given her a chance to cast it? Agata's runeward tattoos let her know when a spell or SLA of a particular school is cast within 60' but I don't believe that would give an alert on an effect that is being triggered by our arrival and in any case it would only tell her what school of magic, not the specific spell. So I assume there's probably nothing for it but just mentioning in case I'm wrong.

I also like that wands and staves are much more interesting now.
Also, forgot to mention before, I like that healing is more of a thing now and not just an expenditure of gold after every fight.

I enjoy that it's still possible to explore all sorts of crazy and creative character designs but much harder to make those so broken that you completely outshine a newb at the table who doesn't have the system mastery to compete.
I enjoy the 3 action economy a lot and also that it makes it vastly easier to explain the game to someone new.
I find skills, and especially their associated feats, really interesting now, where in 1e I usually found myself getting bored and checked out when an adventure would have a skill challenge section.
I like that combat is much more dynamic with people moving around the battlefield much more. No more of just standing in place and Full Attacking until a foe falls and then rinse-repeat.
And I especially like that the game moves much more smoothly now. In 1e I would often find myself making a Knowledge check at the start of my turn and then needing 20 minutes to decide what to do with my turn, bogging everything down for everyone. 2e is really not like that at all - even when you have lots of choices of what to do on your turn (and you usually do) - the turns move swiftly.

My experience has been that a lot of GMs just hand wave it at higher levels since everyone is flying and everyone can auto-make the checks to hover.
I like the way that PF 2e implemented Flying much better.

As far as I understand, people who are flying are immune to the prone condition.
Also, unless the bull rushing PC used Acrobatics while approaching to avoid an AoO (or approached using a 5' step), the movement up to attack her *would* provoke an AoO (as soon as the PC leaves a threatened square - so if she has 10' reach, when the PC leaves the square that is two squares away and enters the adjacent square). However, because this AoO is triggered by the movement, not the Combat Maneuver, a success on the AoO will not affect the Combat Maneuver (unless the AoO itself does something, like knock the PC out, or trip them, or whatever), in contrast to the AoO that is provoked by a Combat Maneuver (when the initiating character doesn't have the Improved Bull Rush (or Grapple or whatever) feat); in that situation, if the provoked AoO does damage to the initiating character, that damage is also a penalty on the CMB check for the maneuver.

Agata (just) passes the check vs the Blade Barrier and with Evasion therefore takes no dmg.
Agata rushes through the cloud, landing on the ground by Zaarah's side, sends some unpleasant magic towards the Marilith, and then places a healing touch upon her wounds. GM, I *think* Agata is out of range of an AoO from the Marilith since she is 15' up and 15' away, but if that's incorrect then she would need to cast defensively (or have Sweet Mawd deliver the touch spell)

I believe Extended Delay Poison, Communal has been part of Agata's standard spell loadout cast every day, which would cover us for 34 hours divided by however many recipients needed it (if Flint and Marta have been casting their own versions, I think that would mean 5 recipients, or about 7 hours duration). How much time has passed since we left the Fairy Ring retreat at the start of this day's adventuring?

GM, just double checking to make sure you have the math right on the Dispel check. According to the Knowledge check you gave us earlier, the Marilith is casting spells at Caster Level 16. According to Dispel Magic, the DC to dispel a spell is 11 + the caster level of the spell, in which case 27 should have *just* succeeded. Of course there may be other things in play here that we are not aware of so no worries if that's the case but just wanted to check because personally Dispel Magic is one of those things that I have to reread every time it comes up.
And, again just double checking, the Enervation spell targets *touch* AC but it still missed?

Agata had posted a knowledge check for whenever she could see Betcezia (which I think has just happened for the first time now) a ways upthread. I don't remember the exact result but it was stupid high - will you please tell us anything about her that we don't already know and her weakest save?

Then she starts to laugh horribly.
Standard action to use Misfortune Hex (using Amplified Hex to boost the DC by 1, at the cost of a level 1 spell slot (Blend). Betcezia needs to make a DC 30 Will save or be affected by Misfortune (roll twice and take the worse result on *every* d20 roll for the duration of 3 rounds).
Move action to Cackle, extending all the Fortune hexes by 1 round (they now expire before Agata's turn on Round 7) and extending the Misfortune hex by 1 round (if it was successful) - it now expires before Agata's turn on round ? (I'm not quite sure if this is round 4 or 5 for Agata, but in any case it will last for 4 rounds from now (or more if I cackle again).
