MilCon 2010 went great this year. We ran 16 table of Pathfinder over 2.5 days.
Thanks to all of the GM's: Bill, Randy, Jarred, Trey, Jordan, Brian, and Chris. You guys really made the Con!

Thanks especially to Tessa, who really set the interactive apart with her awesome rendition of Osprey (especially the wounded Osprey complete with makeup and blood!)

We had a full table of newbies who had never played Pathfinder before who came in Friday first slot and played together through Sunday. We gave out a total of 9 new Pathfinder numbers over the weekend.

We ran a total of 9 tables of 1-5 or 1-7 mods, 3 table of 5-9, and 1 table at 7-11 and 3 tables of the interactive (tier 1-2, tier 5-6, and tier 10-11).

I apologize for the confusion at times while I tried to organize both Pathfinder and other RPG games but I really feel that everyone had a great time.

One last thanks to everyone who showed up. You all made the Con the success that it was.

If a mystic theurge learns an arcane spell in a divine slot, can he then spontaneously convert that spell to a cure spell and is it of the level of the divine slot or the arcane spell?
The way I read it the theurge would convert it to a cure spell of the divine spell slot level.

If you intentionally fall, have you used a move action?

Scenario:
PC dying at bottom of 10 ft drop. Other PC pulls a wand of CLW out of haversack and 5 ft steps off the drop, landing next to dying PC. Does he then still have an action to heal the dying PC? What if the drop is 50ft?

We ended up with a heated discussion on this and I could find nothing in the rulebook to support either argument so if someone could give reference, I would appreciate it.

We are ironing out a consistent location, but right now it looks like the majority of games will be at Dragon's Lair Comics and Games, on Burnet Road.

The next Game Day will be June 12th and we will be running 2 low level mods (#29 and #30) and 2 mid level mods (#16 and #27).

Can the Eidolons use pounce with their weapons or just with natural attackes? Every creature in the Beastiary that has pounce cannot use weapons but it doesn't specify concerning the eidolon and pounce with its weapons.

Are monster's affected by their own abilities? Example: if one ghoul attacks another and hits, can the first one be paralyzed? Or if a spider bites another spider, does the bitten save vs poison? If they are not affected, can you please tell me where is the rules it says this?

I know I have done it in the past but now I can't figure out how to add sessions to an ongoing event before play happens. Can someone please help?

I would just like to post one more time on the gold lag that you get from DM'ing more often than others. In my area, I am one of the few (for various reasons) that DM. When I do get to play, I find that my characters are way behind on the gold curve compared to others of my same level. I don't see why the first time you DM a mod, one of your characters can't get credit for full gold and PA points. This would even out the playing field for those who DM quite often. Just my 2 cp.

I am assuming that my answer at the table I ran is correct but you know what they say about assuming.

There are items on the Year 0 Adventure Chronicles Items Found section that match the cost of the item in the 3.5 OGL books and not the Pathfinder Core rulebook. I assume that these costs should be adjusted to match the Pathfinder Core Rulebook, correct?

Concerning Lore Keeper from the Knowledge Domain:
Does the creature that you touch have to be alive? I had a player in the last game I ran that would wait until the creature was dead and then come up and touch it and say that he should learn about the creature. I allowed it on the condition that I would research it further.
Is there any official ruling on this?

Is Paizo going to support the Pathfinder RPG as some kind of living campaign similar to LG or LFR?
If so, are the adventure pathsgoing to be part of it?

My party wants to start Shackled City but wants to play in Greyhawk. Where in Greyhawk would Cauldron be?

With Gencon only two weeks away, I thought I would post to see who from the Paizo staff gets to go this year. It was really cool last year meeting the people who turn out the two greatest mags in the world, Dungeon and Dragon. I'm really looking forward to seeing who is there this year.
Also, if you could respond with any adventures you have written and which issue they were in, I would really like to bring them to get signed. I know that I could just look back through the issues but, hey, it's easier if you guys just tell us.

My party is in the middle of the Malachite Fortress and has just fought Kozmojen. They ended up killing him and his pet and then performed a fighting retreat to get out of the Malachite Fortress alive. My question is what will the remaining hobgoblins do now that their employer is dead? Will they clear out or see the Malachite Fortress as theirs now and fight to defend it? What does everyone think?

I got an interesting request from the druid in the group that I DM for. The party was on one side of a pit trap with hobgoblins on the other side. The druid has a monitor lizard as his animal companion. The druid had the fighter of the group throw the druid's lizard across the pit and have it attack the hobgoblins. I was unsure how to handle this. I made the ftr make a strength check to throw a 50lb.(???) lizard and he made it. The sticking point is that there wasn't a square for the lizard to land in so he had to land in the same square as the hobgoblin. I went ahead and let him do this and let the lizard make a normal attack as I wasn't sure how to handle this and didn't want to spend the time trying to figure it out but I thought I'd post it up here and see what others would do in this situation.

I see that Dungeon will once again be at Gencon. I was wondering which of the staff, writers, and artists will be there? I know that Erik will as I believe that he is giving a seminar but who else? I would really like to shake the hands of some of the people who put together the wonderful mag that is Dungeon.
