Gabitha is the most chill skittermander I think I've ever encountered. In a just universe, she'd have been the one doing the repelling thing when the other team needed help.
Klicknop says, "Um, well, we're probably nearing our last challenge ... so I suppose that we should make sure that Gabitha gets a chance to participate." To the non-skittermanders, their tone clearly implies uncertainty about placing any responsibility, let alone the fate of their role in this competition, in the hands of a skittermander.

Once the Starfinders determine and locate the building, they’re greeted by Joia Mollen, an incredibly well-respected member of the tight-knit community.
A human woman with a kind smile rises from a comfortable rocking chair in the lobby of this cozy community center. “Greetings, Relay racers! My name is Joia Mollen and I welcome you to Little Akiton. This is your final obstacle before the final gauntlet, and I’m afraid you’ve reached a decision point!”
“You have your choice of two tasks to complete, each reflecting the culture of this wonderful neighborhood. All team members will need to participate, no matter which task you choose.”
“Your first choice is to Live it Up! There’s a block party just down the street, and they need some entertainment. A local dance crew will teach you a routine, and you’ll need to perform it to the crowd’s satisfaction.”
“Alternatively, you can Choke it Down. Sunny’s Diner is a neighborhood staple and the home-fried grubs in gravy are a particular treat. If each of you can finish a full portion, you’ll be on your way!”
At this point, everyone is participating, but you need to choose which task to complete: Live it Up! or Choke it Down. You can switch at any time and begin from scratch with the other task, but doing so loses you one Race Point every time you switch.
Which task will you choose to complete?

Klicknop says, "I certainly vote for the party ... the idea of eating grubs is unpalatable to someone who started life in larval form."

"Well, then... block party it is, I suppose?"

GM Frost |

"You'll go party, then! Follow me!" the woman motions to them to follow her.
Upon their arrival, the street is packed with crowd of different sorts. She then talks to the dance crew that will be teaching the Starfinders.
"So, are you ready to learn some dance moves to hype the crowd?" the crew leader tells them and each member of the dance crew approaches each Starfinder as their partner to teach the dance moves.
The entire party will need to learn a dance from a member of a local street dance crew, then perform it for a block party using DC 15 Performance, Acrobatics, Diplomacy, or Deception. To complete this task, the party must earn a number of successes equal to half the number of PCs (rounded down) in the same round, to represent a successful performance. Examples of relevant Lore skills include DC 12 Dancing Lore and Music Lore.
Everyone is up for Round 1!

Klicknop, surprisingly, picks up the dance moves quickly. "Get jiggy with it!" they scream to the blaring music of Strawberry Machine Cake.

The Starfinders quickly pick up the dance steps and, with confident flair, showcase their moves to the crowd. Even with Luna struggling, it is overshadowed by their energy and rhythm, which makes it easy for others to follow along, turning the moment into a lively celebration that sweeps everyone into the heart of the party.
Once done, a male ysoki mechanic gives them their next clue. The final clue is a simple instruction:
“The Great Absalom Relay ends where it began!”
No checks are required as this means everyone must be racing back to Jatembe Park.
Once the Starfinders arrive at Jatembe Park, they must complete the final gauntlet, a colorful obstacle course built out of existing park structures. They begin this course without difficulty but partway through, their rivals—the Zo! Media Superstars— attempt to take out the competition.
“Should we do it, boss?” a stocky man asks Liall as the Zo! Media Superstars catch their breath at the end of an ornamental bridge.
“I’m not so sure, Russ. The techs said they weren’t sure exactly what—” she begins to respond.
“Ah c’mon! They’re right on us! Forget this, I’m doin’ it.” The man pulls a spherical grenade out of his pack and shouts “Enjoy this, Starfinders!” before hurling it toward the end of the bridge. A burst of smoke and magical energy issues as the grenade collides with the ground. Before the smoke clears, the opposing team’s expressions change to surprise. “Uh... Have fun, Starfinders!” Liall shouts as she quickly ushers her team to the next obstacle.
An experimental null-space conjuring grenade has released two augmented boars that seem enraged upon seeing the Starfinders!

Navasi frowns. "Well I'm pretty sure that's against the rules." She draws her pistol then turns to her team and issues a command. "Okay team. We need to blast those things before anyone gets hurt. Get that one with the blue carapace."
