Karsh'e
"There a goblin, called Hookhand or sometimes Greenhook, who followed the Green Way. She was a champion against undead because they were a violation of life. One day, ... "
Karsh'e begins a story of how Hookhand sought out and fought a host of wights who had infested the funerary caves near a small village in the great forest of the Eldeen Reaches.
And looks forward to seeing if the vulture reappears after Fiz undoubtedly obliterates it.

I am sorry for not posting. I was actually wondering if people was going to try and stop her and then COMPLETELY forgot to check in again. But yes, if noone stops her, it will be bombed
The goblin quickly, and without hesitation, throws a vial at the undead creature
Yeet!: 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (7) + 11 = 18
Boom!!: 2d6 + 6 ⇒ (4, 5) + 6 = 15 blind for 1 round (though I think it's immune to condition?)
precise bomb. Not harming allies

Yes, it's immune to the condition. Your bomb was so precise that the vulture fell off the tree and on to the ground. Since it's undead, the creature isn't stunned. But it takes 5 seconds, enough for someone to kill it, to try and get back up.
Escher.
Escher will move forward to finish it off.
attack: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (19) + 9 = 28
confirm crit: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (9) + 9 = 18
normal damage plus psychic strike: 2d6 + 6 + 1d8 ⇒ (3, 3) + 6 + (4) = 16

The elevator is stable, you can feel it holds your weight. Its made of stainless steel, and looks big enough for the whole party. There is a lever you can pull that either raises or lowers the elevator. The elevator works on a pulley system, that you can see above you.
Escher.
Escher sees a figure and readies himself for battle, and then recognizes that it is Ushgar. He pauses and cocks his head. "How...?" but then he shakes his head. Why question good luck. "How dramatic." he says as he absorbs his sword and offers his hand to Usgar.
Usgar
You go down, into the belly of the mine. And end up in a place that seemingly made of stone. The whole place is quarried out of stone by magic. You find Usgar there, waiting for you.
Suddenly, a massive gorebrute shifter, that clearly has boar-like features, appears.
His skin is covered with black-grey-pink fur and he has two boar tusks!
It is clear that the more bestial aspects of his animalistic ancestors dominate his appearance as his feet resemble hooves and his hands are rather claws.
The shifter is wearing a breastplate, has a morningstar at his side, and some other weapons on his back.
He looks at you as if he has seen a ghost.
Karsh'e
Nice description
Karsh'e steps forward. "Usgar! How are you here?!"
The half-orc still doesn't have a proper cloak, but he still has a wide, conical straw hat and rough homespun clothes that hang from his limbs. His plain leather vest looks stout enough. Could it be a piece of hide turned inside out? A knife rests in a horizontal sheath across his belly; it's supported by his rope belt is knotted at his left hip. TThe longsword at his waist and the falchion on his back are new.
Missing is Karsh'e's giant pack. Left with the cart above.
The half-orc's features are almost mild enough to pass for human, and his long, lush hair supports the inference, but a prominent lower left canine that just slips out from under his upper lip, and a faint greenish tinge to his skin, barely discernible in the gloom of the tunnel, proclaim a different ancestry.
Usgar
Usgar stands still as the group appears.
His hulking, tusked figure with boar-like features has weary eyes that show confusion and recognition. His gaze falls on Karsh’e.
“Karsh’e?” he rumbles, and there’s both disbelief and relief in his tone.
“By the moons, it is you! I thought … I thought maybe the Mourning had taken you all too … or me.”
He steps forward, and he tries to clasp Karsh’e’s forearm in a warrior’s greeting.
“I… I don’t even know how long it’s been. Oh, maybe a lifetime. When I came to, I was alone. Everything was gone. The land itself was… wrong.”
He glances down, and his eyes turn dark.
“The mist or the sound … it burned through my head. I tried to remember who I was, where I was, but there was nothing. Just blood in my mouth.“
He looks at the others then.
“I don’t know … but something drew me here.”
Usgar
"As long as you are well nothing else matters. It is good to see you."
He looks back at the group, and scans each face in turn.
“Lia!” he nods respectfully toward the elf.
“You look the same. Still calm while the world burns, eh? I’d say it’s good to see you, but it feels strange … like I’ve dreamed all this before.”
He rubs his temples and grunts in frustration.
“My mind … it’s like someone tore out pages of my life and left only ashes. When the others found me, I couldn’t even remember my own name. The shamans said the magic that hit me twisted my blood …made it wake up. That’s when the rage started. And the… rest?! I’m here.”

Dim light, little more than that provided by a flickering candle, emanates
from a crystalline globe embedded next to the entrance. This strange
metal chamber is a perfect sphere, approximately 20 feet across. The
only exit from the room appears to be the shaft you descended. An
octagonal metal plate is set into a pedestal at the center of the room.
This metal plate is 1 foot across and contains nine sockets—five blue
enamel sockets, two green sockets, and two brown sockets.
Usgar has the blue charm key.

Lia smiles, "I assure you, I rage. Usually it stays internal."
A small smile appears on Usgar’s face after Lia’s comment.
Usgar then turns to Escher, and he gives a short nod, half wary and half appreciative.
“Escher. You are still standing firm, I see. You always looked like you were carved from stone, but I guess it suits you. I could’ve used that attitude of yours when the world went mad!“
He then looks at the goblin that Usgar does not know.
“I tried to get back to you all again … to find you all … but every road led to the Mournland. And… I wasn’t ready to face it. What are you all doing here?! What is this place?!”
He shows you all the blue charm key.
“I have this here!“ he shows everyone.
@GM: Does Usgar know anything about the key or this area?
And is there a map?

Usgar
Hello GM, I put the map into the google slides here although I’m not sure in which room we’re in so I covered the map for now. Which room are we in: W2, W14 or W18?
Usgar looks around to see if the key that he holds can be used somewhere in here.
perception : 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (11) + 10 = 21
let's do this
Usgar looks around and then at Fizfiz.
“You know, you goblin, I thought maybe you were a ghost when I saw you. All of you here to drag me back to whatever battle we left unfinished. But we’re here, and that means I’m not dreaming. The Traveler is not playing tricks on me again. So what is this place … let’s see.”

"Hello strange friend of group. I is Fizzle or Fizfiz, I make things go boom. Friend of friends is friend. So no blowing up friend of friends" she greets Usgar
After a pause, he grins, a tusked, wild grin.
“So good to be on the same side ! Book! So Fizfiz… are we just going to stand here talking like old women at market, or is there something down here worth breaking?”
He chuckles, but then he adds with seriousness.
“And I promise not to break anything important. Unless it attacks first.”
Usgar
Watching the giant Shifter and the Tiny Goblin, "You two are goinng to get along just fine I think..."
Usgar he looks at Lia with a smile and then at Ayla with the faintest spark of pride flickering in his eyes.
“Ayla! I may have lost my past, but I haven’t lost my claws. Whatever this mine hides, you’ve got Usgar at your side again … and I’m not running this time.”
He plants his morningstar against the stone floor with a heavy thunk, ready to follow his friends once more.

Everyone is in room W2.
Usgar looks around to see if the key that he holds can be used somewhere in here.
perception : 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (11) + 10 = 21
It fits into the blue slots.

MAP LINK is available and also in my header when I post. So according to GM’s information, our icons are placed in Room W2.
Usgar uses the key that he somehow had managed to find and shows it to the others.
”Ahhh. No idea how this works, but the blue charm key I’m holding can be used here. Like in this thing. “ he says and points at the octagonal metal plate that is set into a pedestal at the center of the room.
”So look here. This metal plate that is 1 foot across contains nine sockets—five blue
enamel sockets, two green sockets, and two brown sockets. So should I just put the blue key into one of the five blue sockets and try it out or what other ideas do you all have?” he asks with some uncertainty in his voice.
Usgar
Hello GM, assuming that there is no knowledge check that we could do to find out more? If there is any check then please advise.
Usgar nods and just puts the key in the first blue socket and tries to turn it or pull or push it.
