If taking 10 is an option on the stealth check Eardic will take 10 on the check for a total of result of 17. If not I'll roll the check in the spoiler below.

GM Shadow Dragon |

Perception Goons: 1d20 - 1 ⇒ (11) - 1 = 10
Eadric clambers up the building without being fired upon.
Round 1 - What did you do now Cannoli???
Cannoli [-8 HP]
Vreekka
Eadric
Another Sneaky Goblin!
Daegon
Jakeric
Goblin Dawg
Guardian XI
Sneaky Goblins!
Grizzlebin
Daegon was covering Eadric's climb so Jakeric is UP! Botting Jakeric:
Jakeric nervously says, "I can s-s-summon something to peek on them."
And draws upon his arcane power to call forth an eagle.
Jakeric's eagle is the blue lightning bolt on the map; the purple lightning bolt is where it appeared when summoned. It flies up and scans the area:
Perception Eagle: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (2) + 10 = 12
But has trouble spotting anything. Yikes what a horrid roll!
Round 1 - What did you do now Cannoli???
Cannoli [-8 HP]
Vreekka
Eadric
Another Sneaky Goblin!
Daegon
Jakeric
Goblin Dawg
Guardian XI
Sneaky Goblins!
Grizzlebin
Guardian XI is UP!

You can’t summon and have an eidolon out at the same time.
Cannoli shrugs, ”Unless you can also talk to your bird, I doubt you will learn much. Also, there were four goblins standing ready when I peeked over. Might be more now, but they are scared enough of us they are on the defensive. Either way, the element of surprise is well gone. Heck, it was probably gone when we killed their sentries. Anyway, I say we take a moment to prepare and then bust in. Can someone see if the gate is locked?”

GM Shadow Dragon |

You can’t summon and have an eidolon out at the same time.
Argh I forgot about that! I played a Master Summoner in a homegame and rarely had the eidolon out. Hm I'll have to think of a different evil plan scheme...

![]() |

Guardian tries the gate...
[move] open the gate?
Is is locked?
To that corner that's cut out of the building that Eadric is on top off.

![]() |

Cannoli’s jaw drops…
She mentally reviews what she said, Did I say open it? Or look to see if it could be opened? I guess maybe those are sorta the same things. Maybe I just said to check to see if it was locked? Ugh, too late to change it now. Oh god, I hope he doesn’t die.

GM Shadow Dragon |

Guardian XI tries to open the gate to find it is held shut by something on the other side; perhaps a bar?
Will he try to climb over? Break it down? Throw Cannoli over it?
Only Guardian XI knows...

![]() |

It is held shut. Perhaps barred? Who wants a boost over the wall?
He holds out his hands cupped like a footstool.
Just that for now.

GM Shadow Dragon |

Grizzlebin looks at Guardian XI and says, "How about I boost you over the fence? You drank that extract of Shield so you should be difficult to hit."
If Guardian XI wants to go over the gate, between him climbing and Grizzlebin lifting he can go over.
Round 2 - What did you do now Cannoli???
Cannoli [-8 HP]
Vreekka
Eadric
Another Sneaky Goblin!
Daegon
Jakeric
Goblin Dawg
Guardian XI
Sneaky Goblins!
Grizzlebin
@Cannoli: Given the time to get the rest of the party up to the stone shelf Cannoli had at least 4 rounds to heal. If you have a wand go ahead and roll and mark off the charges. Cannoli, Vreekka, and Eadric are UP! Guardian XI may or may not be over the gate so you might want to wait on his decision or post actions if he is or isn't over the gate.

![]() |

Okay, but I'm very heavy! Don't make any jokes about it!
Climb (acp): 1d20 + 4 - 3 ⇒ (4) + 4 - 3 = 5

![]() |

Cannoli taps herself again with her wand, then stows it away. Lastly she pulls out her morningstar and it gets a lot bigger. Her face twists into a dangerous looking grin.
Four rounds, perfect. Round one she had healed herself with a spell to get to -8. Round two she used her wand to get to -4. This round aka round 3 she taps herself again for CLW Wand: 1d8 + 1 ⇒ (5) + 1 = 6, and then round four is lead blades.

GM Shadow Dragon |

Grizzlebin grunts and suspects he sustains a hernia lifting Guardian XI, "Bub maybe switch to a lighter weight oil if you know what I mean."
I'm not going to bust out a calculator but it looks like Grizzlebin, with Guardian XI's Climb, should get him over the gate. Upon which:
Guardian XI, now on the other side of the gate, sees that it is indeed secured by a beam!

![]() |

But he's out of actions for this round with the climb? Since I'm about to be away: presume he lifts the bar first next round, and then proceeds into hack and slash mode.

GM Shadow Dragon |

But he's out of actions for this round with the climb? Since I'm about to be away: presume he lifts the bar first next round, and then proceeds into hack and slash mode.
I was just letting you/him know that the door is barred if you wanted to shout it out to the others.

![]() |

The door is barred! I will lift it soon and let you in! he shouts.

![]() |

Vreekka climbs up (I assume she will need these 4 rounds).

![]() |

Is the group up and acting now or is that initiative above part of the four rounds? And did Guardian scream ‘ouch they are murdering me’ or are the goblins just so awed at his beauty they didn’t attack?

GM Shadow Dragon |

Vreekka climbs up (I assume she will need these 4 rounds).
Vreekka already had assistance from Grizzlebin and Guardian XI reeling Vreekka up like a fish! :) She can take an action, ready, etc. as you'd like. As a reminder:
Most of the group is on the outside of the gate; only Guardian XI, just on the other side of the gate, is inside.
Eadric climbed onto a building where he plans to snipe foes.
Cannoli is healed, has a bigger morningstar, and is a furious feline!
Oh and Grizzlebin is complaining of a sore back.

![]() |

Vreekka grabs a vial of acid and gets ready to throw it either at a foe or on the floor next to a foe when the gate opens.
where exactly she will aim depends on the location of the goblins

GM Shadow Dragon |

One of the goblins moves forward to stab at Guardian XI:
Stabby!: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (1) + 7 = 81d4 + 1 ⇒ (4) + 1 = 5
But misses so badly it almost stabs itself!
Bahahaha!
Round 2 - What did you do now Cannoli???
Cannoli
Vreekka
Eadric
Another Sneaky Goblin!
Daegon
Jakeric
Goblin Dawg
Guardian XI
Sneaky Goblins!
Grizzlebin
Daegon and Jakeric are UP! Since Jakeric is still away I'll have him delay for the opening of the gate.

GM Shadow Dragon |

Is the group up and acting now or is that initiative above part of the four rounds? And did Guardian scream ‘ouch they are murdering me’ or are the goblins just so awed at his beauty they didn’t attack?
Same initiative order. Guardian XI might be heard laughing at the whiff a goblin made in his direction but no screaming about being murdered. YET! Muahaha *coughcough*...

![]() |

Bahahaha! Even for an android, that was a hilarious impression of a goblin who has never used his weapon! Quick, do another one while I prepare to let my friends in!

GM Shadow Dragon |

I'm going to assume (I know I'm so bad for doing so) that Daegon's impatient waiting is him delaying and Vreekka is readying so:
The goblin dawg wants to chomp on a metallic-flavored bone; perhaps the dawg needs more iron in his diet?
Chomp!: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (14) + 2 = 161d6 + 3 ⇒ (3) + 3 = 6
And while it does better than the goblin it still misses.
Now...it is time for Guardian XI to do - something!
I'm ruling that Guardian XI lifting the beam would be a standard and a move. A move to grab the beam, a standard to lift it. And the combination would trigger two AoOs - one from the goblin and one from the dawg. I wanted to make sure Guardian XI knows this beforehand when making his decision.
Guardian XI is UP!

![]() |

Seems similar to just picking something up to me, e.g. you don't grab and then pick up a sword off of the ground, but shrug
Ignoring the goblins, Guardian lifts the bar from the gate.
It's unlocked! he shouts over the gate.

![]() |

"G-g-go get 'em team!" shouts Jakeric enthusiastically, as he pushes the doors open. Seeing a whole mess of goblins ready for battle, he conjures a little arcane energy to try to stun one of them.
Taking my delayed turn: 5' step, move action to open the gate, and a standard action to cast daze on the goblin riding a mount(?). (DC 12 Will save to resist)

GM Shadow Dragon |

@Daegon: I'll do you one better: I received the maintenance page *during* my post - HA!
Stabby!: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (15) + 7 = 221d4 + 1 ⇒ (2) + 1 = 3
Chomp!: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (5) + 2 = 71d6 + 3 ⇒ (5) + 3 = 8
The goblin manages a hit, a palpable hit, against the well-armored Guardian XI. The dawg, however, still misses.
Will Save: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (2) + 1 = 3
Jakeric wields his magic greatsword casts a spell on the goblin and the group notices it appears dazed...
Vreekka is UP! and then the next block of goblins...

![]() |

Cannoli yells, "OH NO GUARDIAN, ARE YOU OKAY?!?"
She sniffs the air, "Your blood smells really oily too, maybe you are eating too much fish?"

GM Shadow Dragon |

It was eaten when the system went down yesterday but the picture of the goblin dog with a rider - it has NO rider. I just couldn't find the other picture with just the dog.

GM Shadow Dragon |

If Vreekka doesn't post in a few hours I'll bot her. She was going to use the acid and I'll target the intersection behind the goblin and goblin dog attacking Guardian XI.

![]() |

Acid flask: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (16) + 6 = 22 (vs AC 5)
6 splash acid damage
"Fire in the hole!"
Vreekka tosses the acid flask precisely next to the nearest goblin and the goblin dog, but far away enough from Guardian that her friend doesn't get hurt. readied standard action, see map
I do not know what the soft cover penalties are, but I think with that roll she hits anyway.

GM Shadow Dragon |

Vreekka's acid splashes onto one of the goblins and the gawblin dawg and both howl in pain!
The other three goblins move over and try to shoot the target of their smite - Cannoli Jones!
Shooty, Smite, Penalties: 1d20 + 4 - 4 ⇒ (18) + 4 - 4 = 181d4 + 1 ⇒ (3) + 1 = 4
Shooty, Smite, Penalties: 1d20 + 4 - 4 ⇒ (8) + 4 - 4 = 81d4 + 1 ⇒ (4) + 1 = 5
Shooty, Smite, Penalties: 1d20 + 4 - 4 ⇒ (10) + 4 - 4 = 101d4 + 1 ⇒ (3) + 1 = 4
Aside from one shot which comes close enough to ruffle her exquisitely groomed fur Cannoli is unscathed.
Round 3 - What did you do now Cannoli???
Cannoli
Eadric
Another Sneaky Goblin! [-6 HP]
Goblin Dawg [-6 HP]
Jakeric
Vreekka
Daegon
Grizzlebin
Guardian XI
Sneaky Goblins!
Note: If a PC wishes to move through Guardian XI's square and into the open square to his left it will provoke from both the goblin dog and the orange goblin. As a reminder they've both taken AoOs this round. Cannoli and Eadric are UP!

![]() |

I think Grizz got skipped and is also our other primary melee that may take advantage of moving in so I’ll wait to see what happens there. Also, is orange or a different gobbo dazed?

![]() |

Edric stands up, takes a step forward and then shoots at the front goblin (orange) to try and help make more room for his allies in the entranceway...
longbow vs goblin + PBS + divine favor + fate's favored: 1d20 + 6 + 1 + 1 + 1 ⇒ (20) + 6 + 1 + 1 + 1 = 29
cold iron piercing damage + PBS + divine favor + fate's favored: 1d8 + 2 + 1 + 1 + 1 ⇒ (5) + 2 + 1 + 1 + 1 = 10
longbow crit confirm?: 1d20 + 6 + 1 + 1 + 1 ⇒ (15) + 6 + 1 + 1 + 1 = 24
extra crit damage: 2d8 + 4 + 2 + 2 + 2 ⇒ (5, 1) + 4 + 2 + 2 + 2 = 16

GM Shadow Dragon |

I think Grizz got skipped and is also our other primary melee that may take advantage of moving in so I’ll wait to see what happens there. Also, is orange or a different gobbo dazed?
I think I did! He boosted Guardian XI over last round so Grizzlebin can go when he reads this. :)

GM Shadow Dragon |

Eadric pops up and strides forward like one of the heroes from legend and fires his bow and the shot doesn't just pierce the goblin's heart. The fletching catches in her chest and the force of the shot impales the creature to the ground...
One shot!

GM Shadow Dragon |

Round 3 - What did you do now Cannoli???
Cannoli
Eadric
Another Sneaky Goblin! - Pinned to the ground as a warning for all other goblins...
Goblin Dawg [-6 HP]
Jakeric
Vreekka
Daegon
Grizzlebin
Guardian XI
Sneaky Goblins!
As I missed Grizzlebin last round (shame on me) he is UP! along with Cannoli. Jakeric, Vreekka, and Daegon should prep their actions since they'll go after the goblin dog which I suspect won't be there much longer.

![]() |

Cannoli shrugs as one of the goblins is obliterated, ”Easy enough there, nice shot. I’ll heal up Guardian and soak their attacks, you all pick them off.”
She pulls a wand and casts it, touching the android.
CLW: 1d8 + 1 ⇒ (2) + 1 = 3

Grizzlebin |

Grizzlebin lopes through the now-open gate and leaps on the dazed goblin dog!
Move action to move and a bite attack on the goblin dog.
Grizzlebin's path of movement takes him past Orange, who will get an AoO if able.
Bite: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (3) + 4 = 7
damage: 1d6 + 5 ⇒ (5) + 5 = 10

GM Shadow Dragon |

Grizzlebin lopes through the now-open gate and leaps on the dazed goblin dog!
Move action to move and a bite attack on the goblin dog.
Grizzlebin's path of movement takes him past Orange, who will get an AoO if able.
I left Orange there but it was skewered, impaled, and pinned to the ground on a longbow crit by Eadric.
Grizzlebin misses the goblin dog with his bite who tries to return the favor:
Chomp!: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (7) + 2 = 9
But it misses in return. It's now at the tender mercy (lack thereof?) of the party...
Round 3 - What did you do now Cannoli???
Cannoli
Eadric
Goblin Dawg [-6 HP]
Jakeric
Vreekka
Daegon
Grizzlebin
Guardian XI
Sneaky Goblins!
Jakeric, Vreekka, Daegon, ]Grizzlebin and Guardian XI are UP!

![]() |

With his entire party spilling through the gate, Guardian grins.
Now the party begins!
He steps forward and swings his blade in a wide arc.
[5ft step] N
[standard] Cleave (goblin dog to yellow)
shadow weapon attack Gobin Dog, slashing damage: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (1) + 7 = 82d6 + 6 ⇒ (4, 6) + 6 = 16
whoops. the dice did not agree

![]() |

Jakeric stands back with his quarterstaff at the ready to guard the party's rear from any sneaky goblin tricks! As he does, he pulls on his tiger-head mask (a gift from a PFS team sent to Jalmeray!), knowing it'll strike fear in the superstitious goblins once they see it.
5' step to get out of sight, standard action Total Defense, and move action to put on Mask of the Tiger's Eye. Grr!

Grizzlebin |

Grizzlebin sneezes from the irritating dander of the goblin dog as he rolls around with it in a battle to the death!
Full attack.
Claw # 1: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (15) + 4 = 19
damage: 1d4 + 5 ⇒ (2) + 5 = 7
Claw #2: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (4) + 4 = 8
damage: 1d4 + 5 ⇒ (2) + 5 = 7
Bite: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (12) + 4 = 16
damage: 1d6 + 5 ⇒ (2) + 5 = 7

GM Shadow Dragon |

Guardian XI, having teased the now-deceases goblin about its miss, suspects the spirit of that goblin interfered with his attack!
But will anyone buy that story? Hm!
Meanwhile Grizzlebin goes animal on the dawg and fells the creature.
Grizzy's Fort save: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (7) + 4 = 11
But his claw attack also exposes Grizzlebin results in a possible allergic reaction - a nasty rash!
It's a disease effect. I didn't see any bonus/resistance/immunity for Grizzlebin vs. disease. If I missed it please let me know. If he doesn't have anything like that he failed his save and would take a -2 penalty to Dex and Cha. Heal checks and/or Vreekka can reveal how to heal the rash.
Vreekka and Daegon are UP!
