(I apologize for missing your post Squall. )
Looking for the flying creatures, Squall begins hunting the green creature as he quickly moves up slashing at it twice with his pair of shortswords. Both strikes cut the unusual creature leaving deep wounds. The creature soundlessly ripples in pain, but is still alive.
(BOT:)
Distracted by the new clan dagger, Munrisk responds to the new danger by moving into the room to get a good look at identifying the dark blue creature before firing at it with his bow. They identify it as a Darkmantle uncommon creature that ambushes unwary prey, they can shed darkness using an inky blob of black fluid. The arrow just hits due to Munrisk knowledge of it. Its skin ripples in pain.

Suddenly cloaked in darkness, Squall hears his prey still next to him and strikes with both his blades. The first one slashes the creature deeply, killing it. He hears it drop to the ground and remains there unmoving.
Marguerite moves closer listing for the blue one, but can’t quite locate it. She moves further into the room.
Having darkvision, Munrisk is unaffected by the darkness. Recalling that darkmantles are weak willed creatures the kobold takes aim firing twice, the first one hits due to it being off-guard to them.
Djala yells as she swings her glaive around wildly trying to hit the unseen.
Drake takes a moment seeking out the creatures. He is sure both have fallen to his allies.
The group quickly realise the darkmantles are dead. The globes of darkness persist for a minute before dissipating, allowing the group’s light sources to once again illuminate the room.
Looking around, the darkmantles have no treasure. The only thing of interest in the desecrated shrine is the anvil, obviously an object devoted to Torag. Of particular note is a space atop the altar containing five small hexagonal depressions; these depressions once held precious gemstones.
You can see two doors down the hallway to the south. The hallway to the north makes a right turn making you unsure what lies in that direction.

"I'm not sure. I wouldn't just allow creatures like this to live in the same space as me, but perhaps the kobolds didn't know that they were here." Drake moves up behind R!Kktik, prepared to help him if there is something on the other side of the door.

Squall moves up next to R!K to help check the door, and listens for any noises coming from the other side.

R!Kktik wonders if the Darkmantles were kept. Reloading his crossbow he scouts out the southern doors.
Drake doubts the kobolds even knew they were there as he moves behind R!kktik.
Squall moves next to R!K to help with the doors.
The double door leading into the west chamber is shattered and broken, one of them lying on the floor. The room beyond lies in an equal state of disrepair. What was once a library is now a shattered mess with one corner being completely collapsed and soaked in a wide pool of stagnant water. Thick fungus grows on most of the remaining books on the shelves lining the walls.
Squall notices the fungus is a dangerous type if disturbed. A single tome has managed to avoid the destructive fungus atop one of the bookshelves deep within the fungus area.
The door to the east is locked.

Squall thinks the Fungus is Phantom mold; it produces a burst of pale gray spores into the air when disturbed which acts like an inhaled poison doing damage and messing with your perception.
(You can try to use Survival to remove the mold or acrobatics to retrieve the book without disturbing the fungus.)
Drake does detect magic in the mold room.

Sounds a lot like a Fortitude save to see how well that works.

Djala peers into the room and offers to aid anyone who is willing to clear a safe path to retrieve the book.
Squall volunteers to take the lead on removing the phantom mold with Djala’s aid. Taking precaution to hold his breath and wrapping a cloth over his nostrils.
The two set to work carefully clearing a path they are making good progress until Squall accidentally bumps a bookcase which starts to shift precariously to one side. The tengu catchs the cabinet before it tips over, but the books tumble off the shelf dropping onto the mold covered floor. With each thud the phantom mold explode in a burst of pale gray spores covering both Djala and Squall in a cloud of mold spores.
(Djala and Squall please roll a Fortitude save adding a +2 if you are holding your breath.)
Less than 18 failed - make 3 more fortitude saves for duration without breath holding modifier.

Munrisk moves into the room avoiding the spore cloud and spores to snatch the book and return safely making it look easy.
The book is beautifully illustrated written in Dwarven and contains hymns to Torag; you estimate it’s worth 10 gp. Folded into the last page of the book is a scroll of Spiritual Armament.
The door behind the group is locked and there is a hall to the north that is unexplored.

"You're very welcome, Djalamora." They flash a toothy smile before looking through the book. They pull the scroll from the book and hold it up. "Can anyone find use of this? I'm not equip for these sorts of things."

Djala is unable to cast the scroll the group found in the book.
Squall brushes off the remaining spores drawing his sword ready to look in the next room.
Squall and Munrisk stop anyone from entering the room as they spot a deadfall trap inside the door. Munrisk takes a full round to slowly open the door without triggering the trap.
(DC17 Thievery to disable trap.)
This small chamber appears to be some sort of sitting room, complete with a single table and a pair of chairs, both in relatively good condition. Resting atop the table is a half-eaten crow next to a crude knife and a cracked mug.
The room has another door leading to the south, it isn’t locked or trapped. Opening that door reveals a cramped chamber featuring two beds (one of which is covered in bird bones), a small sack, and an array of old tools. The other bed looks like it was recently slept in.
The old tools on the spare bed are a complete set of sterling artisan’s tools useful for stone masonry or stone carving work. In addition, a small sack containing 62 sp and a single hexagonal shaped garnet worth 30 gp sits amid the tools.

| Munrisk the Unknowable |
"Knew there would be a trap somewhere.. Thanks for helping, R!Kktik." They poke around the room curiously, rummaging through the pile and showing off the valuables for offer.
"Looks like some of them sleep here, though they seem to be on the other side of the building. We should go there."
| "Squall" Blacktail |
Squall is not a crafter, but he recognizes that the tools would be worth a good bit of coin even if none of his companions are skilled in their use, either. He looks thoughtfully at the others for a moment, and judges that he'd be the one here who could most easily carry the weight without being slowed down, so offers to carry them in his pack.
(The toolkit weighs 2 Bulk, and he's only at 6 of his unencumbered limit of 9. Unless our other strong martial, Djala, wants to carry it?)

R!Kktik easily disarms the deadfall trap a A net filled with stones and a small anvil rigged above the door.

Squall recognizes the tools should be worth some coin, but are bulky to carry.
Tik looks over the tools recalling using similar items during his apprenticeship. He reminds the group there are more rooms to the north.
Moving to the north hallway you turn the corner and see a long hallway that ends with a ruined dwarven statue. Smashed long ago, the statue is barely recognizable as a dwarven monk. Their stone hammer sits on the ground next to the shattered remains of their head.
The nearest door is ajar and most of the tracks lead through it. The next door is closed and the far door near the statue is also ajar.
