WIll: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (16) + 7 = 23
Celly bends the mind of the monster, George brings arcane fury, while Atu tries to channel divine might with less efficacy (and accuracy).
Trober takes a pot-shot from behind his barricade, and the sonic is enough to hurt the underwater predator.
Sakorus then stabs his assailant with mighty force, and impales the heart of the creature, leaving it drifting motionless.
The last monster finishes off the water elemental, before moving right up to Celly and Trober

Barricade: 1d4 ⇒ 1
Trober shrieks as his makeshift barrier fails to protect him from the legless crabs attack. As it's horrible mouth wraps itself around his arm the energy shield around him reacts and releases a wave of force at the monster. Blue takes 10 force damage from Reflecting Armor, DC 13 reflex save for 1/2 damage.
He then turns swims as fast as his hydrojet can propel him away from the monster. He'll guarded step twice.
"Help Mistress Shari, help!!!"

That last attack hit the water elemental, not Trober

Oops, sorry.
Trober bravely runs away from the incoming threat. He guarded steps twice.
"Help Mistress Shari, help!!!"
Sakorus |
Nobody's taken any grievous wounds so far, yeah? Seems like the Water Elementals have been doing a great job tanking :D I can shoot medicine into people, if we need!
"Jolly good show, Team, one more to go! Keep your eyes open for ambush crabs, Trober - this is precisely when they love to strike, the fiends!"
Sakorus jets towards Blue and tried to give 'em a jab, with a special blend of sedatives to try and dim mental faculties Neurochemistry inhibitor to impart -2 Will saves.

Celly makes a mental note to address the rest of the team about needling Trober as she backs off from Blue and fires a third Mind Thrust
Maybe I should switch off the projector. Maybe I look too tasty in a bikini

Trober takes a moment to regroup. Sakorus gives the osifern another inocculation, weaking its mind, which is Celly cue to go for the old mind-mush method.
Inhibited Will: 1d20 + 7 - 2 ⇒ (14) + 7 - 2 = 19
Atu catches the creatures completely off-guard, and makes good use of the opportunity to blast the underwater fern with a ping blast. Underwater shooting stars are also a sight to behold, and George's hits the monster one by one, leaving a trail of sparkly bubbles.
Shari has an opportunity to finish the monster, but alas, she misses.
That means the monster takes a guarded step towards Trober and tries to gobble up the Dromada. It chomps down and grabs a hold of Trober, and things are looking dire...

"Help, help!!!"
As the monster's horrible mouth wraps itself around his arm the energy shield around him reacts and releases a wave of force at the monster. Blue takes 10 force damage from Reflecting Armor, DC 13 reflex save for 1/2 damage.
Trober keeps swimming for his life, propelled by his hydrojet. He swims right past George in his panicked state. He'll guarded step twice.
The osifern is probably dead, but if it wasn't Trober would have suffered from the following penalty:
Savory
A dromada hit by a creature’s bite attack takes a –2 penalty to AC against further bite attacks from the same creature. This effect lasts 1 week and applies only once per creature.
George 09-23 |
George 09-23 is now too close in for spell casting so instead he decides to use his electric dragon breath against the last remaining monster.
Breath Weapon Electricity, Reflex DC 15 for half damage: 3d6 ⇒ (1, 3, 4) = 8
That damage roll is anaemic but it should shut down the creature's regeneration at the very least. :)
Sakorus |
Sakorus presses the attack, hoping to end Blue before it can get (more) or a taste for cameloid flesh. Basic inhibitor for -1 attack on both. Is anyone well into HP dmg? If so, I'd shoot an attuned ally with a healing serum instead of making the 2nd melee attack of the full attack.

Shari misses. As Trober panics out, he barely notices that the backlash from his armor nearly brings down the predator.

George then zaps the isolated Osifern, and it nearly collapses.

Celly blasts the mind of the sea-floor predator into next week, leaving a demented husk of near-lifeless tentacles. That one isn't going to bother anyone anymore.
Combat over!
Beyond the trench, An ancient ruin sprawls atop a massive stone platform that rises above the ocean floor on towering metal supports. The focus of this ruin is a slender spire of stone and shell that rises at least 50 feet and is topped by a strange-looking dome. Around its base is a series of smaller structures, their walls half-buried in silt. The entire site is coated in coral, barnacles, seaweed, and other aquatic growths and ocean detritus.
The once grand entry to the lower ruins is buried under centuries of silt and ocean debris. A few squat stone structures rise from this morass, their walls caked with barnacles, algae, and other growths. Between these structures are two wide planting beds, now an overflowing mass of arctic sea pens and tangled kelp that rises over 30 feet. In the distance looms the entrance to a cracked and crooked spire.
There's a sea green morlamaw here, tending to the Kelp gardens and completely ignoring the Starfinders.
George 09-23 |
George 09-23 examines the area.
Life Science: 1d20 + 16 ⇒ (11) + 16 = 27
The android points out the glowing sap on the metal supports and mentions that it was from a humanoid type of squid.
"Well you don't see that everyday."
Atu Vaeyo |
Possibly Pri-Pri Atu suggests as George09-23 points out the sap. Turning to Trobar they ask: Are you all right? Did its jaws pierce your armor?
Sakorus |
"An entire underwater ruin! This must be what Hinevera was looking for! How incredible."
After taking in the sights, Sakorus would join Atu in examining Trober.
Did Trober take HP damage, or is it all SP? Sakorus would offer to heal HP damage, if there is any. Medicine check to Treat Deadly Wounds, if necessaryl
Medicine to Treat Deadly Wounds vs DC 20: 1d20 + 19 ⇒ (1) + 19 = 20
...somehow managed to not beat the DC by >=5, so would only heal Trober by 5 HP, lol :D
