Welcome everybody to this play-by-post game. To get this going, I need a few things from you:
- I need you to fill out the RPG Chronicles (you can find the link in the campaign header) with your PFS details and your character level
- On the Maps and Handouts (also linked in the campaign header), I need you to upload a token and enter your Initiative and Perception modifiers.
- Once you have done that, feel free to introduce your character in the gameplay thread
I like to keep a good pace in my games, and would normally ask for a posting frequency of 1/day + 1/weekend. I use the 'two-vote' for moving to new areas. In combat, I usually give people 24 hours to post an action (which is usually more than enough), and I'd either ask the other players to suggest an action or just allow the player to catch up when I don't hear anything after 24 hours. If there are days that you are not available, or if something unexpected comes up, that's of course no problem - if possible, a notification is appreciated.

It is impossible to say until people sign in. According to the mustering list (and the fact that my character is level 6) it looks like there is at least two level 6 characters. With that in mind it is more likely than not to be high sub-tier (5-6) game.

I should mention that Darakwinn is actually 4th level. Looks like I didn't level her up after the last time I played. So, she'll be out of tier either way.

My PC is 4th level also, 1 XP away from 5th.
I really like your haircut, unnie!

I'll be chasing the other players, and am hoping to start by thu/fri

Do we know which tier we are in? I have a few choices for characters.
Did you decide on a character yet?
I've reached out to the final two players, and posted the first briefing post. I'll move on once we have everyone ready.

![]() |

@Kate - So far we are High Tier if that is any help at all to your decision making process. :)

Hey - got the call this morning.
My current plan is to dust off Shaft, Crank Shaft (my android operative 6) for this mission, though my L5 Mechanist Evolutionist is in the last round of the final combat in another mission (so I guess that Dr. A-Prof is a tentative possibility as well).

If we are going rather high tier, I have a level 6 mystic (a healer).
If it fits better with the group either by level or class, I have a level 4 solarian (think paladin of Sarenrae), a level 4 mechanic with a droid, a level 4 skitter witchwarper, or a level 3 soldier.

Looks like we are high tier, depending on what Redelia brings.
@Redelia: could you fill out RPG Chronicles and Slides, so we can start?

![]() |

At this point we are automatically high tier even if Redelia brings a level 3 character.

The timing of this is pretty awful, but I'm not going to be posting much this weekend into early next week due to a family celebration. Please bot me if I'm holding things up. I expect to return to posting late Monday or early Tuesday US time.

@Stell, I was being silly with the description, but what Pamatea is actually doing is attuning her custom microlab to everyone.
"You can also attune your custom microlab to a number of individual creatures equal to 3 + your key ability modifier. This takes 10 minutes, which you can combine with the time needed to prepare your biohacks for the day, and the creatures must be present, willing, and able to cooperate with the scan."

Sounds good. Stell can be convinced to cooperate if there is a tangible benefit. Thanks.

Wait...is Crank Shaft one bad mother...
His name is Shaft - Crank Shaft after all.

Yup - a whole lotta Bow-Chikka-Wow-wow.
His day job is Profession: Ladies' Man

The timing has been really unfortunate. Between my travel and not feeling well, I've missed out on most of what has happened. At this point, I think it's best if I withdraw from the game. I'm sorry for the inconvenience, everyone.

I came down with COVID over the weekend, so my posting will be less frequent for a few days. I'll try to make sufficient posts to keep things moving, but 'bot me if needed. My symptoms are not life threatening, just annoying (sore throat, some coughing, slight fever). Hope to be better soon.

Stell has not played the #2-10.
I have not had time to read each post I missed will sick. Did we encounter any workers who have the necessary pass key to peek in the chem-lab computers?

I recovered from COVID but now I've got a cold and lots of grading to do before the end of the term this week. I hope I'll be able to get back to regular posting soon. 'Bot Stell if needed to keep things moving.

@AbadarCorp Entertainment - Spell casting no longer has any components in SF. Therefore casting is no longer audible. Also if a summoned creature inflicts damage it does not break the caster's invisibility. :)
Correct, but it's also the case that: "A cast spell always has obvious effects that are noticeable by nearby creatures; it is not possible to clandestinely cast a spell". My description of sound was for flavor only, and George remains invisible.

![]() |

^Understood. Clearly the rules could have been better written. Would the exact location (or general vicinity) of the caster be known or simply the fact that a spell has been cast by a spell caster nearby. Different GMs will come to different conclusions and that is not a good thing. :)

Hey Ebonfist - so nice to see another follower of Angraad.
It's rare to see him mentioned.
Indeed! There's too many Scrawny Aliens out there worshipping their Scrawny Gods when they ought to be paying proper allegiance to Angradd.

Once the mission is over, Darakwinn stays on Verces and does some "contract work" for a company's "enhanced security forces."
Profession (Mercenary): 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (5) + 11 = 16

Thanks for running. The chronicle sheet looks good. :)
