Hello!
There are a couple more weeks of the Battlecry! Playtest for the (new) Commander and Guardian classes. I will be recruiting for a round two run of the season one repeatable (#1-01) "The Absalom Initiation" with 4-5 total players. This is not a FCFS game (I tend to recruit from those that have GMed for me as well as players I have enjoyed playing alongside), and will be run as a bit of a "speed run" to focus on the mechanics of the classes during skill challenges and in encounter mode. As I'd like to run the playtest material alongside other classes, I'm going to shoot for:

☆) One Guardian
☆) Two to three other classes (at least one other martial)

What tier are you wanting? Specifically what tier do you want the Commander and Guardian built at?
I'd be up to try my hand at playing a Commander, and level 3 offers more class options, of course.

Edit 2: Alternatively, I have a level 2 air/water kineticist that I could bring.

I’m interested in playing. Probably a martial, maybe a barbarian. I also have a warpriest I could quickly level up. I’d be up for playing most classes/roles.

If you have read the Expectations above, and Agree to them, and you still want to play a Battlecry Playtest class, then state so below. Once we got everyone's interest spoken for, if two or more players vie for the same class, I will conduct a roll off!
Note: The above Expectations are relaxed a bit for non-Playtest classes

I am still interested, but with PaizoCon this weekend and Memorial Day for the US residents, it may be a couple days until you get more interest.
I'm putting together my titan nagaji Commander, Captain Kullan. (Yes, the character this gets held for and applied to has a nagaji boon.)
Formerly a Marine in the Nagajor anti-piracy patrols, he was sent to Absalom and became Captain of the Nagajor Embassy Guards. When he received a new assignment back to the capital, he opted to retire instead as he didn't want to make his new-found wife relocate. As a halfling, while she wouldn't be shunned, it would be harder for her there than it is for him to pick up work in Absalom. So he took up the name of Captain Kullan after the main mountain range in Nagajor, and proudly wears the national flag on his shield.
Front-line melee Commander. This will play very differently from how Tepin was in my Battlecry! playtest game.
I'll endeavor to get his properly-formatted profile up in the next couple days.

I'm not the GM for this one, but I can answer at least the first one in case GM rainzax is busy.
Archetypes are not allowed under the Playtest Rules, specifically down in the Battlecry! Playtest section.
Everything else should be per normal PFS sanctioning.

Questions:
FA and AP are a no-go per the Playtest Guidelines, which I will uphold with due diligence. However, if Howl of the Wild is to be sanctioned by the time we officially begin in the next few days (I have asked the community HERE), then yes, it will be among the legal options for this PFS game normally.
How many days do folks need to create their Playest characters?
@GM rainzax, I didn't understand that you were planning an actual PFS game for this. I'm still new to PFS and only have access to level 1 characters. I could grab a pregen but not sure if that fits with what you want to get out of running the game.

Doesn't change anything for me - you are welcome to the seat with what you got, as level 1 is within the level range (1st-4th) of this scenario.

@Rainzax: I’m a little confused by Eletido’s post and your subsequent response: I have no interaction with PFS. I don’t really want to either - is it a requirement for your Playtest, because I don’t see that in your Recruitment post?
And if I’m not in PFS, then I can only make a 1st level character? Sorry if I have missed something/am being more than usually obtuse….

Okay, sorry for the confusion, I’ll retract my interest. Apologies, and hope you guys have fun putting the Commander and the Guardian through their paces.
I was interested in making a Large awakened animal to see how more sides to flank/be flanked and for allies to be adjacent to interacts with the various Guardian abilities…which I think would be good for *someone* to playtest…

Rainzax - do you mean Guardian when you say “Defender”. I noticed your playtest Character Knab also lists “Defender” in his alias lines, but has Guardian abilities?!? Am I confused or is Defender an archetype or Champion subclass?
I'm good with the expectations as stated above.
Running a bit slow on energy and focus tonight, so I'll have a character ready to go ASAP tomorrow AM. Currently leaning towards a Monk, but we'll see if that changes over night.
Yeah I'm good with the expectations too. I'll get my character profile ready in a few minutes.
Last minute call for a Guardian to join us?...
