Just putting this out here: her rifle's increment is 1000ft if she actually uses it as a sniper rifle and not a longarm as she's been using it this whole campaign. The only potential limit is line of sight and GM permission.

I moved her off to the side of the map for now until we decide what to do. If she gets to use the sniper rifle that'd be hilarious, I just figured it'd be a not-oft-chosen weapon.

I'm around and will be able to post fairly regularly this week, but I also understand that many folks will be travelling or (gasp!) spending time with their family. So no stress if you're not able to post (once the weekend comes, I may do some botting to get us going again if need be).

And just an early FYI, I'm travelling through the beautiful and mysterious state of Tasmania for a week starting January 6th and won't be able to post.

Guys, I left for a retreat today. I will do a lot of meditation and a little more yoga there. I'll be there with absolutely no connection (we're giving away phones for the duration of the event). @Everyone: Up to you how to want to proceed here. If you want to re-engage combat immediately, you can have the equivalent of a Surprise Round again. If you want to wait 10 minutes to rest and then take on the reinforcements, you won't be interrupted. If you want to make a run for it, the coast is clear.

@Zharis: Sorry, I had overlooked the post above about Tulgram healing folks as a bot. I don't know if he can do anything regarding Theodore's stamina point loss, but I know he can Treat Deadly Wounds to give back lost Hit Points to Xylian. I would go through and figure it out, but it looks like Tulgram will be back anytime now, so we can ask him to do it.

Treat Deadly Wounds is not an option right now, because it takes a minute. But! I can restore stamina using the means that usually only restore HP. In other words, if we want to spend enough serums, I can restore Theo's SP very quickly. I have 25 MK1 serums btw .)


@Tulgram: That's a neat ability, and would means you don't have to have an Envoy doing Inspiring Boost to get stamina points back. What's that one called?

I think, this ability is monstrously good with the mystic with the healer connection... but in all other cases it's just not bad, imho. I'm spending resources on it, and serums aren't that cheap. I mean, to restore Xylian to full SP, I have to spend 7 MK1 serums on average. And I have only 25 of them.

I have both of these, but we need to be back within 30-60 feet of each other.

Sorry folks, I managed to break a crown off of one of my teeth recently, and the way I did they can't reattach it, I have to go to an oral surgeon, get the root extracted and an implant installed. Oh and right now I'm working part time while I go back to school, and my job only offers insurance to full-time employees. So I've been trying to get all that sorted and have fallen a bit behind on my gaming. But thankfully I'd just stocked up on chili, soup, mac & cheese, and other things I don't need all my teeth for.

@Theodore: Sorry you're going through a tough time (root canals really suck--had to get an emergency one myself last year). I'm afraid I'm adding insult to injury over in Gameplay, but Starfinder characters are pretty resilient--chances are he'll be okay.

I do get punished for being extremely tired, though. That should have been a rifle shot, I somehow managed to get Xylian's P+C Hailcannon confused with Amhesha's frost projector (only cold, pointless). I rerolled the damage below.

Feat: Climbing Master Now I climb even faster!

1st Fighting Style (Blitz) ability: Keep Fighting: As a move action, you can spend 1 Resolve Point to regain Stamina Points equal to 2d6 + your soldier level. You can’t use this ability again until after you regain Stamina Points from a 10-minute rest. The number of Stamina Points you regain increases by 1d6 at 10th level, 15th level, and 20th level. (Would've come in handy last fight!)
2nd Fighting Style: Wrathful Warrior ability: Frenzied Fighting: As a swift action, you can enter a frenzy that empowers your attacks and deadens you to fear and pain for a number of rounds equal to 1d4 + half your soldier level (rounded up). While frenzied, you gain a +2 bonus to melee damage rolls and Will saves, as well as a –1 penalty to AC.
At 5th level and every 4 levels thereafter, the bonus to melee damage rolls granted by your frenzy increases by 1. While frenzied, you can’t use any ability that requires patience or concentration, such as spellcasting. or any Charisma-, Dexterity-, or Intelligence-based skills except Acrobatics, Intimidate, and Piloting. You can’t use this ability again until after your frenzy ends and you rest for 10 minutes to regain Stamina Points.

Skill Points go to improve things I already have.

Zharis, how did you make it so that you use dexterity instead of strength for attack rolls with claws and a sword? Usually we need "operative" weapon property for that. I'm just curious, maybe I'm learning something new now that will help me with other characters.

Hmm. I just spent some time looking through, and I'm not sure, so could be a mistake. I'm not sure if I left the note in there when I switched weapons (I know I did start with operative weapons when building the character), or else I could have gotten mixed up with the Pathfinder Weapon Finesse feat. ... Either way, probably a mistake. I'll lower my attack by one for both of those, hopefully later today when I have time after work.

Was there anything else you noticed while examining my character that you think is wrong?

Huh, no. Don't get me wrong - I just like watching other player's charsheets, and especially in games where these characters participate with me. I often see a completely different flow of inspiration there than mine. You know, you look at a character and you realize that it's cool, but you wouldn't build a character like that yourself. Or at least that you wouldn't have done that before (I sometimes steal ideas, of course).


It's funny, because as a player I'm the exact opposite. I'm just too lazy to look at other people's character sheets :) (and, I like being surprised in session when they do something cool)

Haha, I'm often surprised too. Because when I look at the charsheet, I see abilities, but I may not see a combination of these abilities. And then bang, and something wonderful happens during the game (especially in PF1e).
