As you all take your seats on the flight deck,
Nathan checks the root out from the landing platfrom, and up out of a deep creator. Once done She that flys recognises *He that flys* as her pilot hading him controls and helping where she can. The ships under thrusters power up and you feel a jolt as the ship lifts off and its landing gear locks into place. From the screens and windows you see the wall of rock that hides this place start to race past as the ship rises gaining speed. Its smooth, as you spins and point towards where your home is and soon it brakes into clear sky. Blow you see the deep hole that you came out of, all around the 'rocks' moon scape, and still it climes but now you moving toward the lang rant in the ground on which other side Rusty sits. The ship has no Problem finding it and soon you coming down once more Landing close to Rusty.
Venessa grabs her things and heads to the airlock.
"Save some drinks for me"
She says as heads out. When you have sorted everything,

Now again the ship lifts off, and you start to get use to the motion when flys slow over her and then on to you clans home. The large Domed mining shaft. The ship comes down onto a clear area, that has been used in the last for haulage pickups. It has not been used in a long time, so when the ships thrusters engage dust comes up. From the windows you see clan workers around the site stop and look. Some head into doors, and as the ship powers down. Some armed Figure's come out.

"I am getting a radio request for identification, Opening comes Channel."
Voice over comms.
"Aslan ship please Identify yourself, this is local law enforcement, replay."
You can tell its Vanessa mother.
Abebe jolts awake feeling awkward seeing some of the work the other did while he napped. He also feels the ship moving so he races to the bridge to hear the radio challenge.
Abebe responses, "This is Emergency Flight Unplanned, rescue of trapped party off of RST-3 expedition, all alive. Respond please."
"Oh you did yeah."
Abebe and Narvare both respond talking over each other. Abebe continues, "Hi Sheriff, we were trapped by a rock slide, in an old Aslan base with angry security robots. We are okay! Everybody alive and functional. Oh formal, this is 'She who flys' and well -preserved Aslan scout, she saved our lives. Request landing, fuel limited. This ship is unarmed."
Abebe turns aside quickly and asks everybody, "Did anybody get Rusty or do I have to walk back for it?" He seems a bit anxious.
"Hello Sheriff I am She who flys. I am sending my manifest and my universal ship registration now."
There is a long while and you see clan members fan out around the ship.
The comms come back.
"What in the starts have you been up too. I have sent for some of your parents. Can I talk to Venssa, plea...Hold on this manifest is close too 600 years old. care to explain, no hold it I am coming over, open up."
And with that she is gone. But soon there is a a number of you family members there all talking over each other.
Thumbing the radio again Navarre answers, "Venssa volunteered to drive the ATV back, she will be here soon."
Hearing his father's voice on the comm, he laughed to himself, it was still like a dream. "We'll land soon, talk then." Hopefully they would have time for him to show his father the life-support filters on the ship to see if they had anything in inventory that may fit.
Slipping his vacc suit back on, Navarre called down the hallway towards the cockpit, "I'm headed towards the air dock. Once we're landed I'll let the Sheriff and who ever she's bringing aboard."

"Clealy we can come up with anything, but that holo did NOT look like a horse. We also should restrict access to everything here; I'm not saying that I don't trust our parents, exactly, maybe. Boom rolls his eyes at all the fuss. Overreacting as usual. Wait till they see what we got onboard. He stays quiet and waits patiently.
Abebe quickly say, "Mom, Dad, I'm okay just banged up a bit. Venssa's bringing Rusty home. Gotta meet the Sheriff, we explain everything then. Bye!
Abebe runs after the others, wanting to explain things to the Sheriff, carefully. Cable goes off on a screed, renaming the ship for whatever reasons as Digger rolls his eyes. She turns to the sheriff
"She that Arrests, I must correct you on my statues. Under Aslan law, I am not salvage, I was not found but I contact your young clan members for help. They agreed and as such payment for that help was this ship and me being its AI myself with it. But I am not a slave to be owned or orders about. I made an honor pact with the three now crew-friends the details of which are between us. I am not an asset for your clan but more by pact a new member of it"

Truth be told, everyone had always thought it was a little odd that the med folk called each other by their names; the understanding was, when you are called Doctor 90% of the time, it allows you to feel a touch normal around your people ...

Of the father's one was more grim, not conveying any sign of empathy, the other more stunned, looking at the ship. "Hi, Mom, Dads. Don't worry Mom, I'm not hurt bad, just a bruise and a bit of burn, Cable took care of it." More nervously he says to one of the fathers, " Uh Dad Sebastian, I was the pilot for the ship so Venssa volunteered to drive Rusty back, I' sure she'll do well." Sebastian looks unsatisfied, saying "You sign it out you bring it back, right!" Other other man snaps out of his near trance and interrupts, saying, "Don't be so hard on the boy, but glad he's alive, what happened, "he that flys."
Shooting a grateful look at his friendly dad, Abebe quickly rushes to explain, "Hi, Dad Girgis. Well we went to the base as we explained, found a door at the bottom of the rift. Inside was a old Aslan mining base, at first we saw a few rooms, an assay lab and other minor stuff, breken robots and sadly the skeleton of a Aslan with a nice sword laying beside him. That turned out to be important later. Uh well then, a robot attacked me, and we stopped it then a rockslide blocking our way out we found some more stuff and a way into a large cavern full of Aslan mining equipment and what seems to be habitation units. But no air or way out nearby, we walked until our air was down to an hour, the found a door that might have been a way out. And then fought more robots, got a limited mysterious message telling us to make for the hanger, then we got to the ship, and air and we meet 'She who flys' UMh the base A.I. had gone mad from centuries of isolation and needed to be stopped, but the ship had a different goal." Abebe starts running out of breath but still manages to squeeze out a few more words, gasping out, "The deal is we bring her captains honor sword back to his clan and 'She who flys" joins our clan and work Uh with us.

But as young adults they all seem proud that you have done something near mythic. Planter makes his list asking She that flys what is ship and what is cargo.

Looking up at Jean with a much more tender look than his friends had seen before, Nathen asks his mom for a favor (because moms seem to do that here).
"Mother, could you please do me a huge favor? Could you please approve Sheela's connection to our medical database? The clan can approve the main connection, but I know it would be helpful for her to be able to update the records on the ship so her data is more contemporary. It would mean a lot to me."
Abebe hears the ship remind them about needing up to date data, "Father Girgis, can you please take care of that information, also the radio times and dates of relevant programs" Abebe thinks and asks the ship, "A lot of our equipment is very primitive. Radio in Amplitude and Frequency Modulation, Punch card, paper tape, and magnetic reel tape and similar items, I think we have some very old and maybe some more recent out-system made stuff but it will be slow, very slow. So it may take a while for this. We are going to need from you a course to where the clan home is and I hope the updates are good enough to see about the current whereabouts and status of your clan, in the centuries that have passed, well things change, how much we will see. I hope. With your good sensor suite I hope you will be able to pick up most of the information. Otherwise it will take more time. Also, if I remember right your jump drive is a one jump distance drive, so I hope we are on a the same main or that might become a problem."
Back when they go back home Abebe will mention that he is tired but also takes a writing pad, and at one point out of range of any cameras or microphones, catches Father Girgis's eye, and nods to a area with a vacuum seal, without comms. Making inconsequential talk, briefly he writes, "Not need to say anything, but "She Who Flys" is obsessed, I don't think she lies but she cannot be trusted either. I fear consequences if we can't meet her expectations. I do not see how we can make enough on a trip to pay our way, scout ships are not profitable. When she finishes he says "Thank you very much. We also found plenty of high tech mining equipment. I know you will figure out how to use it though you might need some of these mechanical types to tune them up. I found some smaller bars of metal where we went in but lost them to a cave in. There was lead, copper, zinc, gold, tungsten, silver and some odd blue metal. It kinda looked like the sword blade. Any idea what it might be?"

While you where showing the robot your room, Girgis just called me and we have a long talk about it. At the clan meeting they are probably going to ask you and the others to go with it and take that stuff back to Aslan space. Vivs mum says she is staying but you son and the others, your going to have to make a call on what you want to do. Stay like Viv or go. Your grown now, this is what its like to be an Adult. You have to do things sometimes you don't want to becouse your the only one that can. But what ever you decide to do I will be proud of you."

As a team, representing the clan, we will need all of the portable assets we can carry, and our friend Planter can feel free to help the clan manage the extraction of assets at the find site. Yeah I know, I'm the doctor not the lawyer, but I thought it would be best to get this in front of everyone before the clan meeting. Planter cannot be putting the mission at risk simply because he wants to grab everything in the cargo hold. Rest well friends, see you in the morning :)"

He sends an open message to the others, "Need to meet before the Grand Meeting."

Walking with his father, Navarre nods, honesty was something of a virtue for father, he'd raised all of them that way. As his dad explains about the terrible situation the clan could be in, Navarre nods. They'd intended to aid 'She who Flies' in returning her previous master to his people, but it sounded like the clan didn't want them to return. "So what you're saying isn't just go, but go and don't come back?"
"No son, you can always come back, its just that ship that has everyone worried thats all. Just means a trip out and then come back is all."
Your dad nods,
"We are a strong clan son, if you feel you way ahead is the stars the you take that path. You will always have a home here. And your right, your find will mean we can change our future."
You get pings back, also you think you can ask the clan to take that cargo with you to pay some of the costs of the trip.
He looks worried.
"I don't know son if it is or not, but a lot of tech was lost when the 2st Imperium fell. And you don't know the bad actors out there, System Nobles most of all. They see something like that and they just want it. Just for the notoriety. Imps want anything odd, and if they feel they need to come back to this system they will. Not even local system lords can stop em. I feel that, that ship belongs with the Alsan, and it wants to go back. So take it and the clan will be safe. I worry you will be going but its a big galaxy son. We have been digging in the dart so long we have forgotten bigger dreams."
He pats you on the back.

Abebe wakes with foreboding about how the day is going to go, feel a twisted sense of satisfaction when She who flys sends her urgent message, followed by Cable's quick response. He sadly agrees, his distrust of the ship's A.I's true motives not withstanding.
Abebe greets the family with a wistful mood, saying how much he loves his siblings and parents, and sends messages to his friends about the good times he shared, then packs quickly knowing that this is the last he will be here, possibly forever.
He heads quickly to the ship but only enters with the others, when they all arrive or say they are not going. Standing there he get a report with the codes granting him a commercial pilot's license for starships.

When you wake Navarre, there are 4 boxes of shells waiting on the bed side table, 30 shells in a box.
As you get to the ship you see two of the clans miners armed waiting outside. They seem to be there to guard the ship and nod as you walk past and She that flys lets only you enter.
Boom wakes up and starts gathering his few belongings. He straps on his new laser pistol and looks around. Might as well take everything now less to do later. Hearing the urgency in the call Boom quickly says goodbyes to his family "She that Flys wants us at the ship quickly. I think something may be up." He then moves quickly to the ship.
As you all get to the ship, the robot points to the flight deck.
You stow your things and then head up front where She that flys is waiting.
"I have been monitoring craft movement heading to what I think must be this moons space port. Around 4pm a trader ship passed on an orbit that may have let it see this location. As Cable talks to She that Flys Boom moves to his comms and calls his Dad "Dad I was right last night and this morning. That nest is buzzing. Love you all." He then looks to the others and says "If they are on the right channel and have to power to pick that up they are welcome to listen because that has no meaning to them. They are going to know we saw them when we skedaddle outta here. Abebe get in that pilot's seat and get us moving but not toward that jump point yet. She that Fly's just how hard is it for them to see you?"

Then Vivs mother is on the blower.
"Booms dads just told me... you going on a trip. Do what you need to do and keep safe. We are all trusting you. Makers speed."
She says, you get the feeling she is relived that your heading out.

Once everyone but one arrives, events moves swiftly for Abebe. He boards last with one final look at the home he does not expect to see again. Wondering where Venssa is believing the she would be the main pilot with himself as co-pilot, when Digger tells him to take the pilot's seat. He's less thrilled when Viv says she's staying behind.
Asking the ship, Abebe says, "List out Imperial standard quick launch checklist please, She who flys. Hopefully someone prepared you last night or we'll have a short trip."
Hitting the shipwide intercom, Abebe orders, "Whoever is going to be flight engineer, run your checklist on flight systems. Whoever does the our path plotting, navigation/astrogation, plot a course for the moon and then a breakaway from moon orbit keeping the moon and if orbits allow, the planet too between us and the possible observation ship, everyone strap in."
When Abebe completes his checklist of pilot responsibilities and assuming all systems are green, everyone reports in green as well, he prepares the launch sequence, when the nav plot is complete his launches toward the moon on the course.
