Perla sighed and rubs Shadows head as she goes over an checks the pocket of the the mongrel woman. Maybe she has a key, because she doesn't remember anyone check her personage, and it seemed like a great start. It also means she might be able to tell she was still breathing, and warns the group the woman wasn't dead yet.

Virgil steps up, attacking the lock. With a loud !BAM! he takes a piece out of the lock.
Again, he smacks the lock. !BAM! another piece out of the lock.
Qafathiel and Perla begin tying up Hosila and searching her.
They find a key...
Perla quickly shoots up, shouting out "Wait wait! DON'T open it yet! She has a key! It's probably cursed!" before going over and showing the others the key, And checking to see if it even fits into the lock. If it fits in, she will attempt to open the box, but if not, will step aside to let the hammering continue.

Perla moves over and, gingerly uses the key to open the lockbox.
The lockbox holds a small leather pouch containing an assortment of semiprecious gemstones (three chips of lapis lazuli worth 1 gp each, two bloodstones worth 5 gp each, a citrine worth 5 gp, and a white pearl worth 10 gp) as well as a scroll of Runic Body and a scroll of Cleanse Affliction.
The lockbox also contains long, thin darkwood sword case worth 20 gp.
The case is not locked—inside lies a breathtaking longsword — a weapon of obviously superior craftsmanship with a razor-sharp blade that appears to be made of shining gold.
Additionally, among the things that were on Hosila are two Moderate Alchemists' Fire, a Lesser Healing Potion, three scrolls of Entangling Flora, a Lesser Antidote Elixir, and an Invisibility Potion. Her glaive is a +1 Glaive.
She also has a letter (See page one of the Slides) which should be of interest
Avenger reads the note. "Confirmation that there is a deeper corruption that we need to follow." He doesn't seem particularly interested in the weapons or scrolls.
Virgil reads the letter.

The Assamir Orc curses like a cultist....
Solras decides to take the Alchemist Fires for the time being, as she recalls a technique some of a few Arcadians used on either their blackpowder or compressed-air powered weapons when not using their Beast Guns. "I may not be the best at using these, but I remember some stories of some inventors in Arcadia who could combine alchemical bombs with weapons for some absolutely ludicrous stunts. I'd be fine giving them if any of you are better with a bomb than me." She decides not to comment on the cultists' letter, seeing as she's much more inclined on the side of taking things out than actually worrying about them much.

Looking at the others, "Guess we should maybe tie her up and bring her with us?"
Solras also swipes the invisibility potion, noting how it's a lot easier to aim if you aren't seen whatsoever. "Heh, never shot someone while invisible before. This'll be fun. She doesn't seem like the mage type, so feel free to tie her up if you want. "
Perla takes a moment and gives a prayer to Desna for the recovery of this hotel artifact, and looks over everything else, including the note. She seems troubled by the fact there are other targets if seems, and even safe houses.
"There was a plan here much larger and longer than anyone thought... And who is SV? That was the initials left right? I read them correctly? And what do we do with these weapons? Can anyone use them well? I have training with both, but I still enjoy range fighting. The glaive may work if it isn't evil, but I fear it is. She was wielding it after all."

After some period of time (you need to get Obahi back on his feet), you attempt to interrogate Hosila, but she is unwilling to do anything but curse at you, attempt to escape, and try to convince one or more of you to join her cause.
You must decide what to do with her. You could just tie her up and leave her, or tie her hands and force her to walk with you (it will be difficult to get her up the rope ladder). You could use 'frontier' justice.

Holding the blade level in their four hands, the oracle closes his eyes, bows his head, and says just a few words in Celestial.

"Minor magic, no different than I use to clean my clothes in the morning, but I think this blade deserves the respect. As do you sir; thank you for taking care of that."
Perla looks away, her face clearly showing a bit of sympathy, but understandable regret for having to kill this woman. She followed Desna, and while not always a goddess of peace, Desna did try to see everyone as good, or at least able to take a new direction. She did however understand that was not always an option however, and as much as she regretted it, this was really the only way forward.
"Let us just get from this cursed underground, and see the Sun again. Who knows what awaits us there, but we need to check these houses, and look through them. I feel others among us have much information on these places, as I have never been to them. Can anyone share?" She looks directly at Horus, as she noted the surprise he had on the locations mentioned, though she didn't know enough of the area to understand which one or why.
Shaking his head, his horns heavy, "Its a shame she wouldn't be more cooperative, what awaits her, a life of being stomped upon as an abyssal larva, hoping to eat enough other weaker souls to advance, what a waste of a human soul," He spits in her direction, "What a waste,"
He turns to Obahi, squatting down, trying to shake him awake, "Hey come on, this is no time to take a nap," Looking to the others, "I lack curative magic, is there anyone else trained in the medical arts?"
Horgus seems to shrink under Perla's gaze, [color=#30aF81]"I know Kandro Nyserian. Frankly, I'm surprised that it would be a haven for such evil doers.[/color]
Avergner will begin to help Obahi. But his ministrations aren't good enough.
"Eh? Can't we just shove the fruit down his throat? And didn't we get some healing elixirs earlier," Solras adds, "Or am I having a fever dream?"

"Maybe let's bring him back from the edge just a little ... he will be MUCH easier to wake up."

The medic opens his eyes slowly, and a grimace of pain mixed with confusion washes across his face as he sees the ceiling in front of him.

Virgil nods and then the Orc cuts off her head.
Perla looks at Horgus like she doubts his word, because this note was evidence otherwise, but also, "I think perhaps this may be a ploy to trick us and divide us, if you speak they are decent. But it also could be a front too. What else do you know, if you can share? I am curious what.you know of this Nyserian."

Confused, Obahi quietly crawls into a corner of the room and leans against the wall. "Yeah, yeah, you sort out whatever that is. I'll rest for a while."
Perla looks over at the others for help, a bit of redness to her cheeks as she had forgotten Obahi was not up, as he was the healer. It was strange to admit she forgot her friend had fell, that most likely makes her a terrible friend.
"Obahi, you are wise. Why not rest and then you look over these items, tell us what you see. Perhaps Horgus does not wish to speak to a woman about business, though I am not sure who would wish to hide their dealings with those who deal with demons." Perla says slightly loud enough for all to hear, since Horgus seems to not wish to divulge his connections.
"Would you... mind telling us about them? It'd be in the better interest for us all to know who we're dealing with in regards to you, for the record," Solras tries her best to seem unlike her typical demeanor when speaking to Horgus, hoping to influence his opinion.

Krakas watches the other attempt to diplomacize with the fat Human, Horgus, knowing he has never been one with words Krakas stays silent, opening his Spellbook, [u]The Farmer's Almanac for Destroying Demons[/u], and studies some of his magical writings, quietly and comparing it to one of the scrolls they found earlier.
Oblivious to the need for democracy, he gets up and seeks out his magical compatriot, asking Virgil, holding up the scroll of Runic Body "This looks like we could learn this, I'm not familiar with the spell, but it seems similar to another spell I know, Runic Weapon, except for enhancing fists maybe," Holding the other scroll up, the Scroll of Cleanse Affliction, "This one, I don't think so, it feels Divine or esoteric in nature, nothing Arcane about it, sadly,"
Horgus looks at Solras, squints his eyes a bit, considering the change in attitude toward him, and admits, [color=#30aF81]"Kandro recently borrowed a fair amount of money from me. Ostensibly to purchase a weapon relic." [/color]

Virgil just busily cleans his new sword...
"Sir Horgus, why was that so hard to share? Do you think we are going to clean you have dealings with people who are buying weapons to corrupt them for evil? Your actions so far have not shown that level of hatred for others, just you wish to avoid blame. Unless the laws here say you are to blame for what people do with money you loan them, you were being a good friend to loan money, and your friend used it for evil. That is not YOU doing evil unless he told you it was for evil. He didn't did he?" Perla looks closely at Horgus.
[color=#30aF81]"I don't inquire the ultimate purpose of the business dealings I have. It is, after all, a business. But, it is unfathomable to me that Kandro would have dealings with demons and evil cultists. But, the evidence points to that.[/color]
After spending some time recuperating (and possibly using Healing Potions), you regroup at the door leading north.
Upon opening the door, you are confronted by two Cultists.
You catch one of them by surprise (and Obahi is hidden).
The other strikes at Virgil (through the doorway).

Solras, with her pre-loaded gun, fires twice at the cultist, all whilst shouting "COVER YOUR EARS, FOLKS!" as she blasts her Harmona gun at the cultist with resounding speed.
Solras hits the cultist with back-to-back solid hits, but the cultist is still standing.

Standing ready Krakas has a direct line to the Blue Robed Cultist, he digs into his component pouch pulling out three small sharp metal needles and throws them at the Cultist, shouting a magical command word.
"Needlis Dartis!"
He then darts to get himself out of the line of fire before even watching to see if the spell hit, incase the cultist decides to fire anything back at him.
Standing ready Krakas has a direct line to the Blue Robed Cultist, he digs into his component pouch pulling out three small sharp metal needles and throws them at the Cultist, shouting a magical command word.
