Miss!
However, Dare's gout of flames extinguishes the worg forever.
Combat over! (It was so close to death the saving throw doesn't matter.)
The worg's pelt, if there's a market for such a thing, has surely been ruined by the flames. But on the bright side, dinner tonight has been pre-cooked.
Searching the cave doesn't take very long, as small as it is, and you uncover a cache of items the worg had apparently collected from previous victims. It contains a set of masterwork chainmail, a masterwork heavy crossbow (without any bolts), two small potions, 47 gold, and 40 silver.

Yuki-Tsune |

"Yosh!" she cheers, tien
"Glad thats over" she smiles as they got rid of the evil wolf

Dare Ashborn |

Dare looks at things using detect magic and gives each potion a sniff.
Spellcraft, Potion 1: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (20) + 5 = 25
Spellcraft, Potion 2: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (9) + 5 = 14
"Average healing potion," She says of the first.
"Magical cherry cordial of the second. Something transmuting I think."
An aid another would get a success

Adela Anastasia |

spellcraft: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (10) + 6 = 16
"A potion of 'Enlarge person' I believe" Adela looks it over, wrinkling her nose at the stench of burnt fur. "Made with cherries to improve the flavor."
Give it to Rhiann as she's our melee person?.

Rhiann Sokol |

"Looks like whoever was here last fell for the lure. At least they were avenged, and thier equipment will go to good use." Rhiann says as they take inventory of the worg's stash.

Makes sense. AT the right time, a 15ft threatened area could be pretty deadly

Dare Ashborn |

"Enlarge person? Who wants to see 10 foot tall Rhiann take out some bandits?" Dare enthusiastically raises her hand.
She looks at Yuki, pointing at the crossbow. "You wanna keep my crossbow or use this one? Takes longer to load but packs a bigger wallop, and looks in good condition despite being abandoned. If you want mine, is it alright if I take this one--or if someone wants this, can I have theirs?"

Yuki-Tsune |

"You are welcome to it. I'll keep using this one. Just long enough till Rhiann helps me get my sword technique at a adequate level" she thanks Dare

Rhiann Sokol |

"We've gos some bolts that are just your style too, Dare. Magical fire!" Rhiann adds with a chuckle.

Erik Sforza |

"Too mechanical for me, so fill your boots."

Dare Ashborn |

"That's nice you think of me but would it make more sense for someone to use those who can't make their own fire? Never know when we get hit by rat swarms." Dare shudders at the thought.

After you distribute the loot according to need and ability, you search the cave thoroughly and are confident there is nothing else in here worth taking. Having successfully ridden this area of a dangerous predator, you head out again and the rest of the mapping day passes uneventfully.
Each of you receives 260 XP for everything you've accomplished since defeating the wolves.

Desnus 22nd
The trees of the Narlmarches are all well and truly behind you now-- even the very tallest of them can no longer be seen over the horizon. Here, you have reached the northern edge of the wilderness that you have been chartered to tame.
You all are just about to turn back when Yuki notices something of interest. Amid an overgrown patch of wild blackberry bushes lies a cairn of stones, recognizable as a gravesite. Upon closer inspection, one of the stones in the center depicts a stylized tiger, seemingly drawn with a burnt stick or similarly primitive method.

Yuki-Tsune |

Local: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (20) + 8 = 28
"Tiger Lords in the area. Barbarian tribe. They bury their dead with their property. Like a ritual or something. We should respect their dead. Most of their buriel grounds were looted by Rostlanders. This one seems in tact. Probably hidden too well" she offers her insight

Dare Ashborn |

Dare plucks a wild blackberry from a nearby bush and munches on it. "As long as they don't mind we pick the berries."

GM ST |

Yuki has not heard of the Tiger Lords taking a position either for or against berry-picking.

Erik Sforza |

"There might be some nice stuff in there. So someone with less scruples will come along sooner or later, but it won't be me..."

Adela Anastasia |

Adela squares her shoulders. "I would object to any attempt at violating a grave!" She says firmly.
The Cleric of Pharasma is very opposed to any thoughts of opening the Cairn.
Playing a character who is opposed to murderhoboing & graverobbing. What a change. :).

Yuki-Tsune |

"Go ahead. Eat the berries. I doubt they had any objections to that" she laughs genuinely
Then turns to Adela "Indeed, I would not wish to judged by their deity or ancestors. And as to you Erik, may I suggest we put down our own warning, that any looters of gravesites will be considered, and judged, like a bandit, by law and charter?" she offers a copper of her thoughts

Dare Ashborn |

Dare nods along and pops another blackberry in her mouth. "T'be honest, most folks I'd know dig up the grave if there was promise of good loot. That don't make it right. There's an argument to be had if we don't, someone else will, and if it's bandits who find it and use the stuff on us, that's no good. BUT. I've also got an urge to let dead men lie and leave Pharasma and her worthy servants unangered." She nods at Adela, before looking back at Yuki. "Warning's a good idea, Yuki, but what if it call attention to the grave? There's a fairly large number of folk who see 'don't do this' as an invitation to do the thing. The grave's not been molested yet, maybe would be better to let the blackberry prickles grow over it a little more?"

Yuki-Tsune |

"That I get, wasn't expecting a big sign, but a simple warning on or near the grave, so if someone does stumble upon it, the warning is there. Though hard to find said looting, but it is a start" she offers her reasoning

Rhiann Sokol |

"A subtle warning or indication of a burial site might be enough. If nothing else we should definitely note the site on our maps. If at some point in the future there's bad activity or anything in the area it would be worth it to check on it to make sure that it hasn't been raided." Rhiann says conceding propriety over practicality in this case.
