Okay, what tier does everyone want to play? Answer all that apply

This is the character I was planning on. I'm OK if I end up out of tier.

Someone with more PFS knowledge will need to verify but this is in the PFS Guide:
"Scenarios in Seasons 0 through 3 were designed for four characters. For these scenarios, if the APL is between subtiers, a party of six or seven characters must play the higher subtier. Parties with four or five characters must play the lower subtier."
Our current math is:
5 + 4 + 2 + 6 = 17/4 = 4.25.
Which means we'd be in the 3-4 subtier? I ask because I have serious doubts about the survival of my L2 at 3-4; at 6-7 I'd withdraw because he'd be killed instantly. If everyone else wants to play 6-7 please let me know so I can withdraw.

It is still early on yet, we have 4 sign-ups, we might get 6 and those other two might be low level. Give it a few more days. I'll check sign-ups again in a week and see if I can come up with a solution.

That's why I wanted to have these discussions early so we can sort things out. Unfortunately my only available L3 is a cleric and we already have one and Kaseem can't fight his way out of a paper bag so he's going to be of no help. I guess I'll withdraw from the table.

I can help here. I have not sighed up yet since I would need to use a replay, but I have characters from level 2-6 that I could sign up with to help out if needed.

I will jump in with my level 6 wizard and his improved familiar. With my character included we are currently at 5.25 and as we are four characters we would be playing down in the 3-4 tier.

With the higher tier characters already signed in to the game we can only accept new applicants in the 3-7 level range.

I will be using a replay for this game.

@miteke - PF replays have been refreshed this spring so you may have more of them then you think. :)

(That would be a helpful "push" reminder, as I don't frequent the Paizo forums much these days, and coming to the site to read the blog evidently doesn't alert me to the fact there is activity in a campaign...).

Not that I know of, just go to your campaigns in the tab and it will notify you if there are updates. If your are looking for a fast paced game, this isn't going to be it. I'm going to post more than once or twice a week, but not necessarily every day. If this was the special, I'd be posting once sometimes even 2 or 3 times a day.

Marcus and Garista, yes or no for helping. I just have to time track certain things. Faster might be better, or faster might be worse. Faster could also be better for one thing, but worse for another.

Yes, Magic Missile is an excellent ranged option for casters and folks with good UMDs - PF 1.0's power supremacy of certain casters over us mere martials is well established. ;)

Precise Shot is on the list when I next level up to 7 - I opted for Vital Strike at 5 b/c Marcus tries to be a switch hitter and Vital Strike helps both. (Improved Precise will take a while, though... BAB +11 isn't an option for a while... ;) )

I would have kept with Melee to provide flanks and such and Vital Struck through the DR... but I wanted to be a good teammate/PBPer by "yes, and" ing the call to retreat by the two prior posters, thus leaving me out of position to avoid the -4... .

^You don't have to justify your build to me. It is simply unusual to see a Gunslinger without Precise Shot. :)

Ah, fair! Marcus is, indeed, an oddity. Edit: and it has been so long since I last played him, that even I was surprised he didn't have Precise Shot! ;)

Now is it seven years of bad luck for breaking this mirror? I guess that is why I have (elemental) minions to do my fighting for me. :)

I'm sorry for being gone longer than I thought. I lost a very dear pet last weekend, and have been having a hard time with it. He was with me for over 20 years.

Yeah, something seemed wrong, I know you guys are 4 player higher tier, but even so, it shouldn't be that hard, fixed it for you. I realized how deadly 6d6 was and thought, maybe they made the ceiling so low to prevent TPK, or hoped the DM would take the ceiling into account.

Real life has just gotten unbelievably messy. Please bot as needed until I return.
