I'm not sure if being holy yourself includes your strikes. It seems like the Champion has specific language that it's strikes are sanctified, but the Cleric doesn't have that.
I don't know what being Holy yourself means otherwise though.

I will look into Champion's specific language, thank you.
It looks as though Holy serves as a vehicle for abilities with the Sanctified trait (like Divine Lance) if nothing else.
Which is still a good "deal" for Cleric Dedication when it also grants two skills, two cantrips, and Cast a Spell (for scrolls, etc).
Edit: That thread "answers" it for me. Thanks!

GAH! Sorry all. I got really lazy over the last 2 days.
Happy New Year!

Thanks,
I remembered it had some resistance, but, my other non-fire spells have so much less actual damage.
I'm beginning to start running on fumes...

Don't forget, >Lumna can help< deal damage and also provide a good night's rest + Daily Preparations.

Oh yeah!
1 charge to blast them - I say do that. Maybe repeatedly. I say let's work to eliminate the minions so we can focus on the horse.
5 charges seems like too many to use. Unless someone has a spell that is worth 5 blasts?

The description makes it sound like it's direct damage. Is there a saving throw or attack roll? Does the concealment chance apply to that damage?
If it's automatic damage, then I'd say it would make sense to use 2 charges to do double damage to the nightmare, who seems to be the more powerful enemy. The cone would make sense if we could line them up to get a couple or even better all three.
If we do burn through the charges too much, we have enough time that we could run to recharge it before leaving (in case this battle with the nightmare isn't the final boss battle).

Lumna's attacks require a Will Save and 1 or 2 actions to trigger.
Lumna can also spend your reaction to grant Electricity or Mental Resistance.
Lumna can teleport multiple people back to the Manor with 2 charges, although you are next to an interplanetary ship. Decisions, decisions!

I think GM implying that whomever is holding Lumna (Itka) is subject to Demiostride's smoke aura normally (targets Will).
Which, Doc, seems to answer your question.
I still think targeting the lower-will save (vs fixed DC) Faded Dreams is still the best plan, but will immediately agree with the group if Doc's plan (to target the Horse) gets a 2nd nomination.
Itka Biklest

My main concern was ensuring that we had enough charges to return. Now that we (almost) have an interplanitary ship, Itka would be concerned about an ambush while sailing the ship back home, so she'd reserve 2 charges and be able to use the rest.
Now I just have to remember when it comes around to my turn. ;D

We got 8 hours rest -- shouldn't that take away Fatigued?

Do we want a bot on Isaku? Looks like it's been almost a week since he posted.

BakBat will put on a pyrotechnic display to earn some drinking money.
Performance: 1d20 + 13 ⇒ (15) + 13 = 28

Argoni is going to attempt to craft a batch of 4 moderate frost vials (level 3 item; batch of 4=40gp; DC18)
He has the formula, so he spends 1 day of prep and 20gp in materials.
Craft @ task level 3 (DC18): 1d20 + 16 + 1 ⇒ (20) + 16 + 1 = 37
Crit! Use Level 9 result for Expert, meaning 4gp x 5 days = 20gp. He finishes the batch in 5 days.
That leaves 2 days for Earn Income.
Earn Income - Crafting @ task level 6 (DC22): 1d20 + 16 ⇒ (13) + 16 = 29
Success! 2gp x 2 days = 4gp.
Result: Spend 20gp for a batch of 4 frost vials, then earn 4gp.

Another day, another lecture on the Netherworld.
Earn Income, Netherworld Lore, T, DC 23: 1d20 + 15 ⇒ (13) + 15 = 28
Success for 16gp
Doc Bloodshanks

Crafting Earn Income DC 20: 1d20 + 19 ⇒ (13) + 19 = 32
Master crit success for 16 gp.

Argoni, I had a Life Shot in my pistol. You'd all hate me more if I HEALED the thing! :)
Isaku will do some crafting on his downtime. Let me go find something to craft... :)
Isaku Beru
|
Isaku heads to the lab at the Grand Lodge to mix up some Moderate Mistform Elixir (Concealed 1 minute).
Initial Expense: 112 gp (56 each)
DC 22 (Lvl 6)
Crafting(M): 1d20 + 20 ⇒ (15) + 20 = 35
Crit Success for Lvl 7 Income (2.5 gp/day for 7 days)
This adventure: 17.5 gp
Remaining amount: 94.5 gp (about 5 adventures @2.5/day for 8 days)
Question -- what happens when I level up (does the income increase automatically to the Lvl 8)?
Itka Biklest

You get the income of the level you were while playing the game.
Isaku Beru

ah. ok. thanks

Itka,
I'm going to call bs.
Paranoia is not an Incapitation effect like, for example, Dominate.
So, I personally don't equate "good roleplaying" with "PVP okay" and do not consent to friendly fire.
(Alchemist splash okay - nearly negligable)
=)
BakBat
|
As I read Paranoia, it appears to me that Paranoia's effects are that on a Critical Failure, even allies are now enemies, and your attitude becomes Hostile.
But, on a Failure or Success, you merely become unfriendly.

I apologize. I misinterpreted the description. Won't happen again.

I enjoy playing with you Warah, chadius, as we share a few games together. Know that I am not mad, just wanted to avoid possible TPK due to misunderstandings, etc.
Jakoby, the >Cunning< Rune talks about Recall Knowledge checks. When does it get Frightened?
Woops. Bow has both Cunning and Fearsome runes - link-posted wrong one.
=)

Piloting Ship?
"A PC can attempt a DC 28 Arcana, Crafting, or Occultism check to Recall Knowledge, or a DC 28 Survival check or DC 31 Perception check to trace residue left from previous pilots to determine how to pilot the Gale’s Claw."
If this is true, I think Jakoby has the best shot (need 6 on dice, and 16+ for CS), but wanted to hold off on rolling to confirm.
However! Out of Hero Points...
Doc Bloodshanks

Yeah, I would need a 9+ to succeed on the Crafting, so it beats my chances.

Don't mind me, GM is making a downtime here.
Performance: 1d20 + 13 ⇒ (20) + 13 = 33
Critical Success for 12 gp.

Got my chronicle. Thanks for the game.
Now then, are we going to do the last one for Outpost? :)
BakBat
|
Would you please summarize which of the checked boxes we had in the Adventure Summary on the chronicle sheet?
Itka Biklest
|
Apologies. Please check off:
- A (escaped with Narcela)
- B (Lumna returns to Golarion)
- C (stole the Gale's Claw)
I think it should be as follows (correct me if I'm wrong):
Using the mysterious powers of the hallajin key, a magical crystal key inhabited by the alien Lumna, you traveled to the night hag Aslynn’s castle on the shrouded Shadow Plane and met with her daughter Narcela, a changeling eager to help stop her mother’s evil plans. You explored the Electric Castle, freeing kidnapped Ardis Scholars and escorting them to safety. You □ found a mysterious object, or □ you were unable to locate it among the strangeness of the castle. You saw Aslynn’s flying ship, the Gale’s Claw, and were interrupted by Aslynn’s nightmare, Deimostride! □ He escaped, or □ you defeated him in battle! Before leaving, Narcela underwent terrible pain caused by her mother. She □ transformed and you unfortunately had to fight her, or □ she was able to fight it off, but Aslynn spurred an angry Ardis Scholar, Bremix, into his own transformation! You escaped the Electric Castle with □ all the Ardis Scholars or □some of the Ardis Scholars, □ on the Gale’s Claw or □ through the hallajin key. Lumna □ made it back with you, or □ heroically sacrificed themself to get you home.
Otherwise, the Chronicle Sheet looks good. Thank you for running, GM chadius! And thanks for playing, everyone. See you around the boards!

Hmm, the Electromuscular Stimulator is basically a Haste spell that anyone with Crafting can use. Not bad for a pseudo-alchemist.

Except you take damage when you use it (unless you Crit the Crafting check!) :)

Have some Lesser Energy Mutagens for electricity on hand and you'll be fine.
