everything is linked to rpg chronicles...

GM Frost |

Fixed. Thanks.
---
Welcome to the game, everyone! Here are a few rules to abide by for everyone:
1. Kindly fill up the information needed in Slides and Maps (pages 2 and 3 for Character Info and Marching Order, respectively) and Macros (any available Sheet among Player 1 to Player 6 Sheets, for core stats and skill modifiers) linked above before we formally start the game. Also, please make sure to at least have the following information on your character's stat block for easy reference: Hit Points (HP), Armor Class (AC), Saving Throws (Fortitude, Reflex, and Will), Perception bonus, and Speed.
2. If you need templates for your spells (Emanation, Cone, Burst, and Line), you can copy them from pages 4 to 7 of the Slides linked above and paste them on the encounter map of the same Slides. There is no need to resize them because those are already adjusted for the Map we will be using. You can also find them under my alias as Spell Area Templates.
3. Kindly post at least once every day, and once on weekends. As we play the game, I would like to remind everyone that per the Organized Play Foundation Community Standards and Expectations, it reads:
No Character-versus-Character Combat
In keeping with the “Explore, Report, Cooperate” motto of the Pathfinder Society, engaging in non-consensual character-versus-character conflict is prohibited. While accidental friendly fire happens due to missed attack rolls or other factors, players must obtain the consent of other players before deliberately including fellow PCs in damaging effects [emphasis mine]. Engaging in character-versus-character conflict will award Infamy points and may render a character unplayable. This rule does not apply in situations where a character is not acting of their own free will, such as if they’re being mind-controlled by an NPC and forced to attack a fellow Pathfinder.
4. Enjoy the game. :)

Slides and Macros updated. Ready to rumble.
Mimi has Doubling Rings. They occasionally come in handy for when she uses her agile shortsword for a 2nd or 3rd attack. If you use a second weapon often, then the Doubling Rings are probably worth it.
I see that you have a Disrupting rune on your fauchard? That's not available until Level 5. Way before getting a Disrupting rune on my main weapon, I would pick up a Level 4 Striking rune. That way you get the extra die of damage on everything, not just undead.

Dotting in! Still need a few more tweaks to the character sheet (and to make a profile for Lil' Brute) but should be all good to go w/in the day!
Note GM: I have two Glyphs. Will give one extra Hero Point at the start to Zhamie (as the other level 3), and the other to 1d4 ⇒ 4 Zaza.
Man we have a lot of 'Z's here :)

![]() |

He 8s a apladin w8th weapon ally.
Ah, sweet!
I would still get the Striking rune long before bothering with Doubling Rings.

![]() |

I have 3 glyphs so we all start with 2 hero points each.
I'll get the slides and macros done in a few hours...

![]() |

Should he focus on the sword or polearm
Up to you really. The Fauchard has some nice things like Reach and Deadly d8, as well as Sweep and Trip if that's your thing. With 2 hands, the Bastard sword bumps you up 2 dice in the damage department, but you don't get the extras.
Dennis uses a Halberd with Reach, so if you go Fauchard, the rest of us will have to duck a lot when the two of you go into action. :)

![]() |

Dennis the Menace dotted in and excited to report for duty! Will fill out slides/macros and will get an intro post later during the weekend.
I also have a GM glyph for a hero point, but it sounds like we're already maxed out. Looking forward to gaming with you all.

I am kinda torn, the sword is his god's favored weapon but the fauchard is the weapon of the order he wants to join.
You're probably strong enough that you can carry both around, except that the fauchard being 2-handed, you cannot wield them both at the same time, so doubling rings won't work with them. Only one of them will have the runes.
The Crimson Reclaimers do not require the use of a fauchard and none of the images in the LO:Character Guide and LO:Knights of Lastwall show anyone wielding a fauchard. In fact, I can't even find a mention of the weapon in LO:Knights of Lastwall, but I do see plenty of pictures of Knights wielding swords though.
So if you prefer the sword, I don't think there's much of a reason not to make it your primary weapon; you'll have plenty of company in the order.

PFS Standard
Fauchard
Deadly d8 Reach Sweep Trip
Source Character Guide pg. 92 2.0
Price 1 gp, 4 sp; Damage 1d8 S; Bulk 2
Hands 2
Category Martial
Group Polearm
A fauchard is similar to a glaive, save that its cutting edge is along the concave side. Fauchards are favored by Crimson Reclaimers for hacking through waves of zombies. The fauchard is a martial melee weapon.
The material was under the Knights of Last Wall entry in the character guide.

I'll post my intro tomorrow.

safe travels Mimi!

![]() |

If this were a live action show we'd be a riot... picturing it in my head has me giggling...

![]() |

Agreed ... we're definitely an interesting cast of characters: a rat inventor with a construct, an orc sorcerer with pet dog, an impetuous teenager, plenty of faux-french, and a poor paladin trying to be the voice of reason. gotta love pathfinder.

![]() |

I am glad that this illusion is not like the groves that surround the various Towers of High Sorcery in Dragonlance.
The Shoikan Grove in Palanthus is anything but illusory!!

![]() |

Just confirming that the only ways to disable the trap are Dispel Magic and Thievery.
Dennis isn't great at Thievery, but he's trained and he'll give it a shot if there aren't better options.

Mimi moves and pokes Wispy on its critical part. Wispy takes 13 damage from first Strike. She pokes it again and does not miss/ Wispy takes another 8 damage.
Your math doesn't quite match mine. If the first strike is a crit, then that's 8 doubled plus the deadly 5, for a total of 21. If you then add in the 8 damage from the second regular success, that should be a total of 29 rather than 21, unless there is something weird going on with resistances or immunities I don't know about.

GM Frost |

Actually, you are right, I forgot to double the damage from your first Strike. I will adjust Wispy's HP in my next post. Wispy should be -29 HP now. Thank you for noticing that.

Dennis easily deceives Red with his movements and stabs it perfectly in the middle!
Any chance the Feint roll of 28 (vs Perception DC) was a crit success?
Feint
Critical Success: You throw your enemy’s defenses against you entirely off. The target is flat-footed against melee attacks that you attempt against it until the end of your next turn.
Success: Your foe is fooled, but only momentarily. The target is flat-footed against the next melee attack that you attempt against it before the end of your current turn.

![]() |

Red has Perception +13 so it's Success only.
Thanks for checking!
With Kidron and Dennis crowding around her damaged bot, Zyek realizes venting LB’s engine isn’t an option.
Sorry about that, Zyek! Dennis could've easily delayed till after your turn, had I known. :( In a f2f game, that could've easily been worked out, but knowing when to delay for others is harder in pbp games. Again, my apologies.

![]() |
1 person marked this as a favorite. |

Oh, no problem at all! Didn’t mean to come out as a grumbling tone - meant to type it as just Zyek thinking of a lot of options. She never actually clued anyone into the fact Explode was even an option so this is entirely IC on her :)
And honestly her alternative action set is probably just as efficient anyway

GM Frost |

We are close to the end of the scenario, kindly check your details at the sign up sheet linked above for your chronicles.

Zhamie gives a talk about the Pathfinder Society to the Arclord's household.
PFS Lore: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (14) + 9 = 23
NOW I get a good roll...

Here is my official Earn Income roll for Mimi's 8 days of downtime.
Between adventures, Mimi can usually be found at her grandfather's fencing academy in Gralton giving lessons on the proper use of a rapier.
Performance (Earn Income) vs DC 16: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (19) + 9 = 28
According to this table a crit success on a Scenario is good for 40sp.

![]() |

When the mission is over, Dennis says tearful goodbyes to his new friends. But he is excited to head back to the Grand Lodge at Absalom and spend his downtime on the welcoming committee for new initiates, "Welcome everyone! I'm Dennis! It's a great day to be a Pathfinder!"
If anyone asks about the library, Dennis waves his arm somewhere behind him, in the wrong direction. "I'm not sure. Somewhere over there. Maybe. But for those of you looking for the training arena ..." He enthusiastically leads the way.
Pathfinder Society Lore, DC 16: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (20) + 7 = 27
Crit Success (Slow Mode) => 5sp x 4 days => 20sp

Literally... did you add the part where you almost died and had to be revived by a famous female swashbuckler?
Twice

Chronicle looks good!
