Let's talk out-of-character stuff here.

So I saw that there was a slot still open and it appears I arrived in time (though Paizo is awfully slow today).

Welcome to the game, everyone! Here are a few rules to abide by for everyone:

1. Kindly fill up the information needed in Slides and Macros linked above before we formally start the game. Also, please make sure to at least have the following information on your character's stat block for easy reference: Hit Points (HP), Armor Class (AC), Saving Throws (Fortitude, Reflex, and Will), Perception bonus, and Speed. We will be using Tableplop for maps during encounters, linked above.

2. Kindly post at least once every day, and once on weekends. As we play the game, I would like to remind everyone that as per the Organized Play Foundation Community Standards and Expectations, it reads:

No Character-versus-Character Combat

In keeping with the “Explore, Report, Cooperate” motto of the Pathfinder Society, engaging in non-consensual character-versus-character conflict is prohibited. While accidental friendly fire happens due to missed attack rolls or other factors, players must obtain the consent of other players before deliberately including fellow PCs in damaging effects [emphasis mine]. Engaging in character-versus-character conflict will award Infamy points and may render a character unplayable. This rule does not apply in situations where a character is not acting of their own free will, such as if they’re being mind-controlled by an NPC and forced to attack a fellow Pathfinder.

So far we have Aldonza, Arfsnarf, Erevan, and Garad dotted into the gameplay. I will be contacting the other two players. In the meantime, please fill up the Slides and Macros, and join the campaign in Tableplop for our maps, if you haven't done so yet. Also, I would like to know if anyone has glyphs to share for extra hero points.

Arfsnarf's PFS-school consumable is a lesser healing potion.

Also, it seemed natural that we might be able to avoid killing confused animals :P If not, so be it.

I guess I didn't think they were confused. Seems to be their hunting ground.
My concern was honestly where to go. The difficult terrain and water to the edges of the map mean our only option is the boat remnants and the rocks. Not sure how safe we'd be there.
But you are right - outright slaughtering them does seem a bit much. :)

I kinda agree. Though Erevan's initial reaction to 'taming' the wild hippos is to weaken it with a crossbow bolt, if there are ways to deal with this without killing the hippos, Erevan would be open to suggestions.

Also, Wraax would be fine with driving them off rather killing them. But as a ranger rather than druid. lacks the Speak With Animals fun times. lol

Erevan has Ward Medic so he can treat 2 PCs for 10 minutes. If we decide to press on, we can spend time to heal up before proceeding. We can also report back for now and show the journal to the VC before proceeding.

I will be going out of town with the family starting today until Sunday and I will not be able to update the game. I will post when I get back on Monday.

I will be on vacation leave again for a religious convention from March 2 (Thursday) to 5 (Sunday) [UTC +8], and I might not be able to update during that period because I will not be bringing my laptop and it is hard to make a wall-of-text post in Paizo forums when on mobile. I will be back in updating this game earliest by Monday.

FYI, I will be away tomorrow (Saturday) and Sunday (UTC +8), for a company summer outing (yey!), so I will not be able to update this table. I might be able to update on Sunday evening when I get home if I am not yet tired, but I can't promise to do that so the sure day I can update the game is on Monday. By that time, I assume everyone has posted their Discover/Influence for the second round.

FYI: After tonight I'll be away in nature all day tomorrow, but then back Sunday mid-afternoon'ish.
