Flikk cheers as the longshanks topple the giant smelly animal "I knew you tall ones would come in handy, not just for the high shelves either." He helps Toasty! up onto his feet "You need help with that staff? It makes nice fire, I'm jealous!" He reaches for the pickle jar and takes a swig as the big bosses come storming in.
"You're all too late, the fun's been all had by us!" He turns and starts rummaging through the loot while they figure out just what happened.

The Tengu adds: Well perhaps you should let the cleaning squad arrive. There is a bit of a mess. We had to fight against an hag called Aslynn and her nightmarish minions. We defeated her be cool. Oh and we did the inventory by the way: here is the list.

It seems that the Hag, that one named Aslynn, was looking for something special int his trove. We had the help of two people, Biglock and Mr. Glovely. That were hiding from help and have decided to help the Society. To find what she was looking for and protect it from her inquisitive eye.
Says Dolmandir.

"You're all too late, the fun's been all had by us!" He turns and starts rummaging through the loot while they figure out just what happened.
"'Fun'?" repeats Venture-Captain Valsin. "But, who's going to clean up this mess?"
The Tengu adds: Well perhaps you should let the cleaning squad arrive. There is a bit of a mess. We had to fight against an hag called Aslynn and her nightmarish minions. We defeated her be cool. Oh and we did the inventory by the way: here is the list.
Zarta takes ahold of the list. "A promising start," she concedes.
The mimic scooches forward while, Mr. Glovely makes a deferent gesture.
"We were happy to help!" says Biglock.
"You've been hiding out among the treasure all this time?" inquires Venture-Captain Petulengro. "That seems... suspicious."
"Look, we can trust each other," assures Biglock "Or we can wait for the real Aslynn to come looking. What we faced here was just a shard of Aslynn, just one little piece of her mind. The real Aslynn will figure out where we are eventually and find her way in. I’ve got plenty of reasons to want to stay away from Aslynn, and after today, I’m sure you don’t exactly want to be her new best friends.”
"Alas, “I can’t take hostile actions against Aslynn. That goes for Mr. Glovely here, too, for his own reasons. But, Mr. Glovely and I are happy to help the best way we know how."
"I see," says Venture-Captain Petulengro.
As Lokoloko goes about healing his fellow goblin, the Society gather affirming details from Rain and Biglock, then meet back in the vault a few hours later.
In their absence, Mr. Glovely rummages around for a bit before producing the chalice held by the shard of Aslynn earlier. When Zarta returns, Biglock offers it to her.
Zarta turns the chalice over multiple times, trying to see if she can get any of the magic liquid to appear. When everyone has finally gathered for the debrief, she says, “Well, I’m still not sure what this is, but all your reports are consistent. It’s obviously a central piece of Aslynn’s plan. In a way, it’s a good thing that shard of her mind infiltrated our vaults, as it’s allowed us to understand a few things we might have otherwise missed! I wish we could’ve learned about this without putting your lives in danger, and for that, I apologize. I hope you’re ready for more adventures. We’ve just scratched the surface of the vault’s contents, and we need to act fast to learn more about some of these items. One thing is certain: we can’t leave everything here and wait around for Aslynn to strike again.”
The faction leaders quickly fall into a heated discussion over the best approach to the items—it’s clear that they don’t see eye to eye, but they all agree that they’ll need to work together for the sake of the Society’s future!
While the Society’s leaders argue, Biglock gives a smug grin to the party.
“Nice work. Hey—Zarta is pretty great. She says Mr. Glovely and I don’t have to stick around this dusty vault! Don’t worry, though. We’ll be in touch. I’ve got a few schemes in mind. When I’m done making arrangements, Mr. Glovely will come calling!"
FIN
Thank you all for playing. This was a really fun group.
Unless someone needs a chronicle earlier, I am going to hold off on reporting and chronicle sheet until late Monday in order to give everyone the chance to provide contact information on RPGChronicles for the prize drawings.

Flikk looks up from his pile of loot "So we get to keep this stuff for good measure right? No better way to keep it safe than in our hands and pockets?" He smiles, doing his best to look cute, stable, and trustworthy.
