"Do you mind explaining what is happening now? We can't even get out here." Charlies demands an explanation to Nordvick.

![]() |

Amidst the general uneasiness, Dehliana's teary-eyed confession seems to irritate Jack♢ to some degree. "Tch. Shoulda kept quiet, hun. Ya didn't have to reveal your whole hand there."
Their current situation slowly starts to worry even the cool-headed elf. He starts shuffling his cards pensively and slower than usual. "Seems we've no choice but to play their game. If I understood the rules right, we either stall for the night's end, or reveal this devil thing. Bet the latter would be-"
He is cut short by the commotion in the kitchen. Jack♢ rushes to the scene, and helps Fran pull their druid companion out of harm's way.

Charlies also sees the rot and maggots sliding in and out of the meat. Charlies is also Sickened 1 for 1 hour
Charlies turns on Nordvick, who instantly begins stammering, red in the face and angry that Dehliana immediately began blaming him. "I don't know either. Never seen anything like this before."
Selik goes near the kitchen and opens another door. "This one seems to go around the kitchen."
Taxidermy animal heads leer down from the walls of this wide, rectangular hallway.

"That's gross." Charlies points out the rotting meat. "Does your place even have a sanitary permit?"
His condition isn't helping and even the owner knows nothing. The matter is in their hands now. "Let's all get out of here. There must be a way out here." Charlies enters the room in the middle of the building and tries to open the door (pointed with black arrow). "Estes, come with me."
