Adi tensed a bit as it seemed like there were progressing toward jumping into a battle with the queen. Well, tensing might not be the word. Maybe her lip tensing as she tries to hide a thrilled grin of combat. Even though she knew beyond a doubt it would NOT end well.

Suddenly, someone the party has never seen before, a visibly half-elven young woman, walks up from outside of the field of view of the party. She gives a nod to Queen Galfey, as if the two are at least somewhat familiar (despite the quite clear fact that this woman is not from Mendev or the surrounding area). "Greetings. You must be the group of heroes I've heard of! I am Xotikeidēs Pharimias, of Pol-Pharos, of Iblydos. The city-states sent a good few fighters to help you with the Crusade against this extraplanar threat. Can't let it spread out back home to Casmaron when there are far too many demons to deal with, hm?"
She stows away her weapons, seemingly two crossbows, as she walks up to the group. "So, an issue with determining alignment? My specialty," Xotikeides states in a reduced Iblydan accent as she clasps her hands together. "So! I overheard... she pings as chaotic, right? Every known method of alignment masking masks the entire alignment. And I can demonstrate if you're able to detect good and detect law for me," she says. "I could, to gain your trust that I'm not lying," she says, her tone of voice upbeat and reassuring, "hide the alignment of a known Lawful Good, or Chaotic Good, person, such as a paladin, and you can detect that every axis of alignment is hidden. That would mean, since she's pinging as chaotic, that her alignment must be purely chaotic, with no evil component. "
She then offers her hand out to the party, "If you'll let me, I'll cast Undetectable Alignment on your Paladin to prove my point. So, do I have permission? Failing that, there are far less harmful and barbaric options than a Smite-Slap to be used."
She then begins listing such options, starting off with what are probably the more likely ones. "Firstly, a powerful enough Cleric of a non-evil god can cast Healing Flame. This spell heals Good creatures, does nothing to Neutral creatures such as myself," she says while pointing to herself and smiling, "... and damages Evil creatures with its holy energy... admittedly I'm not powerful enough to do so myself, yet." She extends one finger, indicating that she'll keep going, and then continues. "Or you could have her cast a non-harmful Enchantment spell, then try Dispelling Evil on it. Something like Bless or Aid would do," she says as she extends her second finger. "Thirdly, I believe smites don't have to be an actual manufactured weapon? I imagine, that if it works with an open palm -- a slap --" she says as she extends her third finger, finishing her list, "then something as minuscule as a pebble might work, right? So, do you believe me, or should we try one of the alternate methods I suggested?"
Constantine steps forward and says, "You may cast whatever spell is needed to prove Sahala's worth in the eyes of others. As part of the Paladin Code for Iomedae, 'I will guard the honor of my fellows, both thought and deed, and I will have faith in them.' I have faith in Sahala and will guard her honor - and her life."
"If they don't take my word at it, I'll still need someone from the accusers to say that they'll detect your alignment after I cast it. I'm not burning any more of the cyclopean power than I have to," she says with a smile while referring to mythic power.

She waiting for their response. Saph doesn't hold and air of intimidation, yet there is something Alien cold and about her, eyes glowing red, as she stood there all clean in a pool of fresh cultist blood.
Behind her tood Arrius Voralius Constantine the Mythic Aasimar Vengeful Champion. Who had battled his way past amassed ranks of Demonic abominations and corrupted cult worshiper. By him was Adigale Clemens a freed slave and mythic champion for the oppressed, always ready to fight and die for the freedoms of others. Then Sahala Love the subject of this little farce. The very mythic notion that of fighting fire with fire. And last herself a weapon of death reforged into a tool for justice.

Still between Arrius and..." her feline eyes turn to Xotikeidēs "... and one else you trust can keep an eye on us, making sure we are pointed away from things you'd rather us not be pointed toward, though we not monsters or anything so we wouldn't be anyway." there is a grumble of annoyance at being distrusted still in her voice, but she doesn't look ready to jump into a fray anymore.
"I just hope they take my word at it so this is over as soon as it started." Xotikeides says, hoping to end it quickly and help the team on whatever task follows.

By my assessment, this would dispell any misdirection that Mrs. Sahala herself could have casted, but not neccessarily a misdirection cast upon her by the Elder Succubus Alithera, whose capabilities are... very considerable. However, misdirection do not last more then 2 days, even if extended. If she was using a misdirection in the first place, which may not be the case since this would also maks the fiendish presence, unless the misdirection was cast on a chaotic neutral individual who was bearing a profane gift.

Secondly, detecting as having a fiendish presence, while not detecting as evil, is not what a inifltration attempt would look like, why invest resources into not detecting as evil, and then not mask having a fiendish presence, which can be revealed by a mere cantrip? She likely has a profane gift from said Succubus. Third, we have been informed via an angel of Kelinahat that an agreement is about to be offered?
He continues, being utterly polite, arguably more so then the queen herself, and casts a curious eye towards the party.

Sir Ciars Aura of good was partially reduced by the demonic bugs aura of evil, normally, an aura of good is reduced if Alithera drains such a target, in this case, because I was draining the bug at the same time, no reduction to the aura happened. Perhaps this can be used to aid in their detection. Furthermore, if used on someone without strong moral leanings, the demonic bugs aura will be quite visible, as such I believe Xanthir Vang will will target good spellcasters of the divine schools with this."
Constantine frowns, "So it appears infiltration efforts similar to those during the Third Crusade are being planned and possibly underway. Obviously this information, how to detect it, and how to reverse it are critical to the war effort. We are struggling on the battlefield as it is without fighting amongst ourselves. Here are the documents provided to us by Alithera."
Constantine hands the papers to whichver advisor moves forward to accept them. If none does he will hand them to the Queen.

If worshipping Nocticula would be legal, switching allegiance to Nocticula would be a way for cultists of Deskari or Baphomet to be... less likely to be executed, and thus encourage surrender, thus weakening these two He continues

I find Sir Ciar being alive and fighting for the light again more valuable that killing Sahala, a vasall of a demon, Alithera we arent currently at war with. And Whose boss, Nocticula, is also notorious for killing other demonlords. She is of course also getting her influence into us, thus making it more possible for her to backstab or sabotage us, but thats just... normal risks.

I am appointing Irabeth Tirabade to lead it, you Sir Arrius will be her second in command, and lead the "special operations group". I expect the rest of the group to join you in this. You will receive salvage rights, will be considered to be officers in the Mendevian army, and if you take Drezen, become landed nobility if this suits your boat. That and the great pleasure of fighting against an evil that will consume Golarion if not stopped.

The Queen is, in the AP far more straight laced and absolutely heroic.
My reading of her is that she has, inspite of being a human, fought for nearly a century, saw her homeland of Cheliax taken over by devil worshippers but could not intervene as this would have meant abandoning her post, was denied to pass on because she is "oh so needed", is privately pissed at the costs Mendev incurrs to purchase sun orchid elixrs for her. She is well aware that she could outfit a batallion of heavy infantry with that. She also had to sort out the clusterf!++ of the third crusade which happened when she tried to not be in charge of all the things all the time.
She is thus rather shortempered, aggressive, has not tolerance of b&&*!#@% but still good at heart, and you can politily talk to her.

Adigale didn't love being told what to do. Ever really, which is why she ended up with many punishments followed by being sold from one fae master to the next.
The ginger wasn't an idiot, she was reasonable bright and had more than a thimble worth of common sense to boot.
So even though she rankled at being told 'You will' anything, she knew this is actually what she wanted. To fight demons and/or bad people until they were all gone or she was nothing more than bloody toes on the battlefield. To get revenge for ALL the things done to her in her life, didn't matter who she dished that revenge out to, so demons and cultists were good enough.
"No questions." a small rebellion leaving off honorifics, but it is enough to quell the desire to scream. She even managed a bright(ish) smile to the queen.

... Since you know Chinostes, you probably know that Pharimia can grant power -- regardless of alignment -- so long as you're in line with her goals. Probably best to avoid telling the crusades she can give Antipaladins power. That's presumably the reason the Crusades needs people like this group and me, I've come to realize: avoiding the brunt of any unholy attacks by demons.
I have some insinuator Antipaladins in my lineup of consorts, its pretty useful that they can smite evil if they propitiate the right deity beforehand. I used to have a Paladin-lover, but its nearly impossible for me to have one as a consort and for the Paladin to keep their powers. You get a reply, one that is pretty upbeat and occassionally flashes with images of very well proportioned people in dark armors feuding each other over who get so read poetry to you.
I respond to sending to the name "Belana", which is absolutely not my true name, maybe we can chat later when there isnt a Paladin queen and an inquisitor watching.
I am already doubledating, so to speak, Lord Gorrum and Lady Nocticula, adding a third one would be a bit risky.
