Xoti tries her best to see if there are any inter-religion rivalries among the cultists to exploit.
Don't forget the Knowledge (Engineering) too please. :)

Oh right. Background skills duh.
She also adds her, admittedly quite limited, engineering insight.

From the looks of it, the defenses are manned by a bunch of Deskarite and Baphometan defenders, with everyone who is not wearing a white scarf being constantly annoyed and jealous of everyone who is.
The people who do wear white scarfs also appear to be well fed, less mutated, and seemingly practice things like Hygiene.
Xotis engineering knowledge alas fails her.
A group of heroes succesfully infiltrates over the second crossing, and gets ready to tackle the cultist squad lying in ambush!
Map is up!

Adigale Clemens |

The wild look in Adi's eyes is akin to intoxication as she looks across the field looking at all the unsuspecting targets. "I'll distract them." she whispers with a wide grin, then she is off, horns and muzzle erupting from her pretty face, shooting like a wild animal with incredible speed on to the back of an archer, goring into them with her horns, tearing into him with her claws, then sinking her teeth in and ripping.
70 speed, free to rage, powerful stance, power attack, spend mythic point for swift action to move and attack, not counting for her other actions, then full attack, think I have that all correct.

Cultist bob is incredibly dead.

Adigale Clemens |

The cheeky red head turns to the surprised soldiers, Bob dripping down her face and front. She grasps the sides of her dark coat and does her best to give what she thinks a curtsey is and tells them "I'm Adigale Clemens, if that matters to you in the afterlife at all." she straightens and asks in all sincerity "Who's next?"

Arrius Voralius Constantine |

Suspecting that violence was imminent after the crossing, Constantine musters whatever available 'frontal assault' (read: The Distraction) forces and equipment have been assembled to begin their movement.
Absent a catapult Constantine will ask Askold to play a game of bowling with the bridge and its defenses by growing to his large size and throwing, hurling, and rolling boulders, trees, whatever is at hand, at the bridge's defenses and personnel.
He will also get the first, and fastest, units prepared to sprint north to the second, secret fording area once the smoke and chaos have the enemy distracted.
Also signalmen will send separate and conflicting messages to the Deskarites and the Baphomites. In particular how much they appreciate how willing the Baphomites have been to deal with in the past...
Hoping to sow discord with the last one. :)

Demonlord of violence, mercenary, relentless warfare and really not getting along with devils. A highly pragmatic and dangerous conqueror. Not commonly thought as participating in the worldwound invasion, but some of his mercenaries certainly do.
Nurgal respects strengths, and is one of the few demonlords whose followers respect duels. Beating one of his in single battle is could be a way to show strength to him, and thus make it more expensive for Baphomet or Deskari to hire his mercenaries.
Nurgals obsession with duels is quite a thing, while no follower of Nurgal would interfere in the duel of another Nurgalite, there has been precedent for a Nurgal mercenary instantly decapaciating a Deskarite Incubus who dared interfere, on the side of the Nurgalite merc, in a duel between the Nurgalite and a Iomedean Paladin. Opinion within Iomedean circles is split on wether some Nurgal-worshippers can count as "worthy adversaries". Most do not think so, as Nurgals warriors view warcrimes as a "to do list".

Sapphire was a killer, Made as such, A Battle Maiden, they had been designed female in looks so that male organics would hesitate when attacking. Ever advantage had been programmed into well she called herself her. 'It' would have been a better phasing. Now two of them had to attack a larger group. And another thing she had been designed with came into effect. Tactical programming, the task for this mission was simple and twofold. 1" Pull defenders off the bridge for a main attack, and 2: ambush the ambushers. Saph had made a plan to do just that a simple plan. Adigal was to attack from one side, making it look like a larger force was attacking. Soon as she did Saph would disunite the other side. With an explosive attack, done from hiding, hitting she hoped objects they could use. Sapphire was a killer, designed as such—a Battle Maiden. She had been programmed with a female appearance to create hesitation among male organics when they attacked. Every advantage had been integrated into her design, and she identified herself as a "her." It would have been a better phrasing. Now, two of them had to confront a larger group.
Another aspect of her design came into play: tactical programming. The objectives for this mission were simple and twofold:
1. Lure the defenders off the bridge for a main attack.
2. Ambush the ambushers.
Sapphire had devised a straightforward plan to accomplish this. Adigal was to attack from one side, creating the illusion of a larger force. As Adigal initiated her attack, Sapphire would strike from the other side with a surprise explosive assault, targeting objects they could utilize for cover.

As an immediate action, you can expend one use of mythic power to convert your physical self into a body of pure thought, becoming incorporeal until either the start or the end of your next turn (your choice). When you use this ability, you gain damage reduction 10/epic in addition to the standard incorporeal traits.
An incorporeal creature moves silently and cannot be heard with Perception checks if it doesn’t wish to be.
Vanishing Trick (Su)[5 rounds]
Benefit: As a swift action, the ninja can disappear for 1 round per level. This ability functions as invisibility. Using this ability uses up 1 Nanite Reserve point.
Is will be invisible for 5 rounds.
She will move away form them, up into the tree, and keeps invisible while she works out her next move.

Adigale is impressed the cultists stand and fight, despite hellwasps, their burning stings, and well... Her. To congratulate the nearest for their bravery, she jumps on them ripping with her claws and hammering her horns into his head.
The sickening crunch of his skull is lost in her wild violent grin that darts off toward the next bunch of demon loving cultists. "Hi, lovely day isn't it..." she says a split second before she tries to ram her horns into its face.

Xotikeides smiles like a maniac as she steps forwards towards the nearly-dead body, grinning that this group isn't exactly full of noble paladins. "Rise so that you may strike your allies!" she says, her voice accented.
Casting Death Candle on the dead guy. I think he's still misfortuned?

Arrius Voralius Constantine |

I find it funny that the corpse gets, of all things, a Fort save vs. Death Candle...

Xotikeidēs "Xoti" |

Well, I typed it wrong. It's unconscious, I'm assuming the guy is nearly-dead. But this is the only character I might get to pull this dumb combo off with and have it be reasonably in-character. "Ends justify the means"-type whackjob who blows up fire elementals raised from corpses.

Liliyashanina |

------------Xoti--------------
Due to a little thing, the actually quite dead guy automatically fails
As you focus on the spell, you see the soul of the Bloodrager Cultist, currently on its way straight to Kuthon, Nurgals Abyssal plane.
No, splinter of Pharimia, this ones soul is mine You hear a bemused deep bass voice
He even signed a contract on the flayed skin of a contract devil and all of that, but I can indeed approve of that spell. Swarms are nasty any annoying yes? The voice chuckles
And it is funny that I get to talk with people just because they did a pretty low level spell, this mythic fulcrum is... interesting. It continues, quite politely even. Given that you are probably being contacted by an Demonlord with a reputation for perpetual violence and anger, the politeness is... interesting.
Look, behold... An elemental of shining bright rage, fueled by the wrath of all the mercenary careers cut short by encountering swarms early on with no alchemist fires! The demonlords magic responds, curiously enough improving your spell!
Just mind the radiation sickness and put on some lead pants around it. Did you know that hellwasps have once been wasps but got their resistance to radiation replaced with an immunity to fire? And that they got actually super weak to radiation as a result, mostly because like, nearly nobody uses radiation in combat? And that whatever Xanthir Vang did with them amplified these weaknesses?
Seriously, Science is great for better warcriming.
The voice continues conversationally.
As Xoti casts her spell, an elemental springs forth from the body of the fallen Cultist champion. It is bright, almost sickly bright, and oddly shaped.
It is far larger then an elemental summoned by corpse candle should be
The symbol it manifests as is associated to one cult of Nurgal, demonlord of mercenaries, warfare and crimes of war, which specifically emphasis destruction and annihilation both through and of knowledge.
Both hellwasp swarms try to sting this elemental, but simply... die? Nearly instantly?
--------Adigale -------------
Adigales charge eliminates 2 cultists in a characteristic flurry of claws, fangs and horns (hers) and flying around limps, heads, and particularly impressive, medically speaking, spine which managed to develop sapience in the 2,5 seconds it was removed from its body.
Its last and first thoughts were "I can move!"

GREETINGS!
The abomination of a Minotaur champion approaches the dueling place.
MY NAME IS STRYKARR OF THE HIGHEST CLASS! YOU KILLED MY MOOKS! PREPARE TO DIE!
intimidate vs Arrius: 1d20 + 21 ⇒ (2) + 21 = 23
I think Arrius is probably immune to that because Paladin
Goooo Strykarr! Look, we got a Minotaur Champion who cares enough to avenge us! Praise Baphomet! The cultists behind the fortifcations cheer
Carefull Arrius, that f!#~er cheats as much as I do! Cydric whispers, probably through a message spell.
With a mighty bellow, the Minotaur Champion enters a blood charges at Arrius.
I think you readied an action, possibly with brace? And I rule that you had enough time to smite him as he approaches

Xotikeidēs "Xoti" |

"ΜΗΤΡΟΚΟΊΤΗΣ!" M#++%#%!+!++!
Xoti has done this before. She doesn't know what's off. But something is off. She might need to explode it sooner rather than later.

I hope you enjoy the nuke elemental

I tend to agree with regards to the attempt to demoralize. While the Intimidate skill and the Shaken condition don't mention fear under the Shaken condition it states, "Shaken is a less severe state of fear than frightened or panicked." Under both Frightened and Panicked it sites 'moving away from the source of fear' so I think that's why Constantine would be immune to demoralize. As for prep work I don't know how many rounds it took the minotaur to arrive. Constantine would start prep with Smite as a swift action, have Radiance cast Shield as a standard action. If Constantine has a second round to prepare he would have Radiance cast Long Arm.
Constantine nods towards Cydric to acknowledge the warning.
In response to the minotaur's greeting and announcement Constantine will reply, "Well met Strykarr, I am Arrius Voralius Constantine, Paladin of Iomedae."
Yes the nodachi does have the brace special feature and Constantine would ready for a charge with Power Attack, expending one use of his Mythic Power to activate Mythic Power Attack.
Nodachi +1 with Mythic Power Attack, Smite: 1d20 + 12 + 4 ⇒ (4) + 12 + 4 = 201d10 + 6 + 1 + 9 + 6 ⇒ (7) + 6 + 1 + 9 + 6 = 29
Oof rolled a 4 to hit. :( Brace does double damage so the 29 damage would be 58. If that actually hits, and he's an evil outsider, undead, or dragon, the hit would do 6 more points of damage.

Liliyashanina |

The Minotaur champion charges, while it has wings, it opts to move on foot, its massive steel, or maybe adamantine clad, hooves thundering across the bridge.
parry: 1d20 + 6 - 1 - 3 + 2 + 6 + 1 + 2 + 1 ⇒ (10) + 6 - 1 - 3 + 2 + 6 + 1 + 2 + 1 = 24 Faels
As Arrius blade strikes, the wily minotaur seeks to parry is, moving its adamantine clad horns with surprising dexterity, but Arrius strikes true nevertheless.
In its wroth, its plate armored bulk impacts squarely with Arrius blade, dealing it a crushing blow for 64 damage.
While not an evil outsider, it is evil, is a native outsider, and has a level in Antipaladin. I am GM stating that it counts as Evil outsider
charge: 1d20 + 6 - 1 - 3 + 2 + 6 + 1 + 2 + 1 ⇒ (18) + 6 - 1 - 3 + 2 + 6 + 1 + 2 + 1 = 32 Faels
Phew, the bloke would crit on a 19
damage: 4d6 + 12 + 9 + 1 ⇒ (5, 3, 3, 4) + 12 + 9 + 1 = 37
With a massive crushing blow, its large axe bites deeps into Arrius shoulder, a telling blow!
BAPHOMETS CURSE UPON YOU!
Some type of negative energy is channeled into Arrius!
Roll me a willsave
Arrius is up!
Make it count because the bugger is going to smite you back if you dont kill him

Arrius Voralius Constantine |

The great conundrum: Offense or Healing? Constantine only has 1 swift action per round. He can use it on Sudden Attack or for Lay on Hands. Let's see how his normal attacks resolve:
Nodachi +1 with Mythic Power Attack, Smite: 1d20 + 12 + 4 ⇒ (20) + 12 + 4 = 361d10 + 6 + 1 + 9 + 6 ⇒ (5) + 6 + 1 + 9 + 6 = 27
Nodachi +1 with Mythic Power Attack, Smite, 2nd Arrack: 1d20 + 7 + 4 ⇒ (11) + 7 + 4 = 221d10 + 6 + 1 + 9 + 6 ⇒ (9) + 6 + 1 + 9 + 6 = 31
Let's see if that 1st hit confirms:
Nodachi +1 with Mythic Power Attack, Smite, Crit Confirm?: 1d20 + 12 + 4 ⇒ (17) + 12 + 4 = 331d10 + 6 + 1 + 9 + 6 ⇒ (5) + 6 + 1 + 9 + 6 = 27
@GM: Mythic Power Attack has the following, "In addition the bonus damage from this feat is doubled on a critical hit before it’s multiplied by the weapon’s critical multiplier." So if the crit is confirmed it would be the 27 HP + 27 HP (rolled a 5 for base damage both times lol) + 18 HP (doubling +9 from Mythic Power Attack to +18 so my die roll is 18 HP short) = 72 HP of damage.
I'm unsure if the 22 on the 2nd attack is a hit...I'll risk it and use Constantine's swift for a Sudden Attack!
Constantine calls upon the power of Iomedae and suddenly strikes at the minotaur again!
Nodachi +1 with Mythic Power Attack, Smite, Sudden Attack: 1d20 + 12 + 4 + 1 ⇒ (1) + 12 + 4 + 1 = 181d10 + 6 + 1 + 9 + 6 ⇒ (1) + 6 + 1 + 9 + 6 = 23
Nodachi +1 with Mythic Power Attack, Smite, Sudden Attack: 1d20 + 12 + 4 + 1 ⇒ (6) + 12 + 4 + 1 = 231d10 + 6 + 1 + 9 + 6 ⇒ (4) + 6 + 1 + 9 + 6 = 26
I doubt the 23 hits but you can't help it when you roll a 1 and a 6 lol. Constantine has an AC of 28 vs. the minotaur thanks to Shield and the bonus from Smite.

Arrius Voralius Constantine |

Forgot the Will save. Constantine has a +2 trait bonus if it's a charm or compulsion effect or the +1 from the 'Hell's Reject' trait: which "increased to +2 when used against the spells or spell like abilities of chaotic outsiders, or against spells that have the chaotic descriptor."
Will: 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (12) + 12 = 24

Liliyashanina |

The Minotaur tries to parry! It has panache and AoOs, but no immidiate actions to riposte
parry attempt 1: 1d20 + 14 ⇒ (3) + 14 = 17
parry attempt 2: 1d20 + 14 ⇒ (13) + 14 = 27
parry attempt 3: 1d20 + 14 ⇒ (4) + 14 = 18
Every single one of its parry attempts fail!
It takes 111 Damage and collapses, straight on top of Arrius!
With a deep curse, its dying eyes lock unto him
Howww.... I killed a Linnorm, how can a measily little puny Aasimar...
DIE SCREAMING
Arrius please roll a fort save against its death curse!
that was a half Balor Minotaur, with dips in Antipaladin, Steelblood Primalist, Swashbuckler, Fractured mind and Mutagenic Mauler, although he had so much stuff available he didnt get to use all of it. Baphomet read the class guide, specifically, not smiting you but instead useing a swift to try and intimidate was subpar of him, but he was quite sure of his victory. Note, had he parried one strike, or had you missed one (he was charging and Bloodrageing, so his AC was meh) he would have gotten a turn, with likely disastrous results. He was not mythic though.
