As you ener the room Stacks of scrolls, books, maps, and more sit atop a large
hexagonal table in this room. The walls are painted with detailed
maps of Sarkoris, over which features of the Worldwound have
been painted.There is a fair bit of paperwork there.
"We'll collect this later; we need to find that Wardstone."
Sapphire, slings off her handy havasack and starts packing the letters and paper work into it.
"I can do this fast"
she says,
The sudden anxiety that someone would suggest they all had to read these for clues disappears as Sapphire accepts the task.
"Good work Sapphire. Very nimble." Aurical notes with glee, "That is one less thing to worry about."
His glib tone did well to hide how his body tenses at the prospect of more combat.

You see a horribly site. A stench of body odor and perhaps goat assails your nostrils as you enter the room the cultists use as a bedding area.
Haphazardly setup matresses litter the floor, and the one thing you do notice is a hastily added poster like picture with the pinup of a Succubus in a maid costume. But if this was a summoning ritual to summon a caretake in terms of orderliness and cleanliness it didnt work.

You could swear the Succubus Maid on the poster rolls her eyes at you
You could swear that the Succubus pinup poster just rolled her eyes. And subtly wrinkled her nose, as if she was smelling the overwhelming musk of body odor prevailent in this room.
Adigale is not a creature of order and cleanliness. It just isn't possible for either of those adjectives to be turned her way with the way she attacks things.
But even she wants to pinch her nose at this mess. But greed overwhelms disgust on any day, so she offers to search.

Constantine, used to Sapphire having conversations with...something...he can't see, moves back to the door to escape the stench watch for enemies.

The crusaders once used this basin as a
scrying font, but Jeslyn befouled it with the entrails of
the six crusaders.
The entrails of the crusaders are strewn around the floor, in the shape of Deskaris unholy symbol.
It is not a very pretty sight.

Constantine removes as much of the entrails and blood from the basin and moves the ones on the floor into a corner to dispel the power of evil.
He offers a brief prayer over both hoping to replace the taint with the purity of Iomedae.

Holding his nodachi at the ready Constantine takes the lead and waits for the others.

Aurical switches to using Arrius as a horse for his disk's propulsion, taking up right behind the paladin.

Aurical will beckon to Adigale. "Come here ferocious ally." he called in a soft tone normally used to coax animals, "I have a spell to empower you and Arrius. You will like it, I promise you." First Aurical will chant a steady stream of words in draconic and touch Arrius on the hand to give him a shield of faith, and if Adigale complies he will murmur the same words and touch her hand as well.
Looking over at Sapphire he notes her shiny new ring and his tail sways slowly behind him. "Be careful now." he tells her as he waggles a claw, "You will need my help before this is over." Finally, Aurical will cast shield of faith on himself as well.
Adigale sees no reason to reject magic on her. These people could have called her Demon when they first saw her claws and horns pop out, but they didn't. She can't think of a reason they'd turn on her now.
Adigale leans down to be magiced, and gives a toothy smile, a nudge to his shoulder and a "Thanks!"

Aurical was sitting cross legged on his disc and leaning forward as he went to magic his companions, but rocked back to sit up straight as he was first given a friendly bump and then interrupted. He affected what counted as a smile for a kobold, purposely so, his toothy snout opening just enough that it curled like a grin. His tail also stiffened straight behind him.
"Yes yes, economy of action." he agrees before giving a downward glance at what he felt was babbling coming from his mouth, "Let us be useful to the crusade here. Lest they doubt us."
He will clutch hard at Arrius' belt with one hand and raise his shield on the other. Seemingly prepared to get dragged in behind the paladin.
