And we'll be back right away to see you again! Zyphlryx exclaims, oblivious to exactly how unpersuasive this idea is to the Queen.

SoT (Year 4, Sem. 1): Maps & Slides, Handouts, Macros

Vras the necrope hisses at the suggestion, but the queen considers it, toying with her marble eye in her palm.

Fine. Tombzaad is pretty annoying anyway, he keeps smashing up everything I ask him to bring me. Terrible minion, almost as bad as you Imperius. Vras has made Tombzaad unkillable, which maybe is good for something other then smooshing up my dinner and throwing cutlery around. Then again maybe if you die it would make my life better.

Tomb shambles forth. He seems… larger… tougher… bloated.

R-R-R-R.

Go to the glowing mushrooms by Zaadragrank’s workshop. There you will find a secret tunnel that we've cunningly dug into the Pinkskins' fort — right under their stupid noses! It will let you out, so I'm old, under some barrels inside their walls.

Go forth… wreak havoc! Drive away the pinkskin lumber workers and make sure they never return!

Maps updated. Note the secret tunnel on the warrens map. Note the layout on the fort map. I added a Tombzaad token for you.

Let's make this a group effort, and see how you perform as a party. Your goal is to drive away the pinkskins… either by scaring them, burning their stuff down, annoying them, etc. Whatever havoc you wish to inflict upon them. Some ideas might be perform to pretend to be a haunting (or actually haunt them with intimidate), stealth, crafting to make traps, survival to plant traps, stealth to plant explosives… deception to deploy Tombzaad outside. Pretty open to ideas here!

SoT (Year 4, Sem. 1): Maps & Slides, Handouts, Macros

You set traps and put Toombzad on a path through the forest, while Galvan cheeses cleared in strategic locations along the walls affect the archers and make their eyes watery. You go back and listen in the tunnels for the fireworks to go off…

Oi more target practice!

It's a monster! It's unkillable!

You hear the gates open…

Wait! Some of us need to stay here and guard. All the workers are sleeping in the main barracks, and all the equipment's stored in the yard, after all.

… unfortunately, it seems like your plan didn't quite succeed the way you want.

You push the barrel aside hoping the pink skins are at least SOMEWHAT distracted. You find yourselves inside the wall, below the catwalk above, surrounded by crates and barrels stored inside the tower’s base.

DC 15 Perception:
You notice a Guano Roach scurrying away — one of the ingredients or Brenzil the apothecary's poison.

A single roach isn't enough to make a bag, but it's a promising sign!

Otherwise, the fort seems quiet… tough you can hear someone stomping around above. The stairs on the map go UP to the second level of the catwalk from the yard; there's an unmarked exit below them into the yard that you could use to go that way.

"There are still more of them in here," he notes, sure they're not sneaky and cunning enough to have lied to set a trap for them (that's what he would have done). "Into the fort and we'll clear this methodically!"

He gestures to the north.

You move down the hall. There is a door going out to a yard. You peek out, and in so doing lean a bit more about the Pinkskins' operations here.

There is a central barracks where most of the pinkskins are probably sleeping, as it's late at night. In the corner to your left is a pile of fresh-cut wood, the result of all your beautiful trees getting chopped down! Across that is haphazard pile of crosscut log saws, azes, hamnmers, and other tools. There's another a set of workbenches in the third corner.

In the last corner to your right is a horrifically complicated and dangerous-looking machine. it has a with a conveyor belt and giant circular saw blades that gleam wickedly in the moonlight. Likely some kind of mill used to convert the tree trunks into planks.

Noted on map

Above you, you can hear the sentry pacing. Likely she is looking out over the walls and not inside the yard, but too much ruckus might draw her attention.

______

While you heal Kadosh, trained in Engineering Lore, realizes that this delicate mechanism can open, close, and lock the front gates of the fort. Right now most of the guards are outside hunting Toimbzaad.

Pepin looks at the food on the ground and realizes the Pinkskis were feeding the Darkmantles. How odd for humans to have a symbiotic relationship with such creatures, but it probably kept unwanted guests from messing with their precious gate controls.
