As he passes through the kitchen he glances into the pantry. Words rush out of his mouth: I hereby promote you to sub-assistant junior jailer intern-in-training, and therefore trust you to bring that escapee back alive or die trying. he says to the Pinkskin in the pantry. Imperius sends a bolt through the jailer's eye, killing him instantly. Guess he got demoted.

Somebody set up us the bomb, Zyphlryx says helpfully, but they're not breathing anymore, so it really doesn't matter anymore.

All I wanted to do was have a nice day at the squirrel hunting grounds! Some of those pinkskin tree-cutters got me, I thought I was a goner but they dragged me down here. There's a bunch more of those insane pinkskins down below, I think they've been living underground a long time.
And there's this really mean scary Pinkskin named Thuldrin Kreed who checks in on them once in a while. He's in charge. He made all the cultists give him their shiny treasures and beats them when they don't listen. He's even meaner than Queen Qweenzeenk!
He's trying to teach them some blood-rite for a transforming a crown or something. I made sure to get out as fast as I could once I heard "sacrifice" and "kobold blood."

He's about ready to tell Qropmudroonk to go back to the queen and let her know what's going on ... but decides to let Imperius take responsibility for that. He picks up the manacles and starts figuring out how he can make them more useful. Unless someone else wants it.
