"My my sir, will you please move your cart?". Malakar lights up his hands - hoping the merchant does not know it's the Light cantrip. "Who knows what could happen if you do not."

Finally on the same map as the assassin.

Hao Jin Cataclysm

Leon almost slips on the grease but steadies himself.

Astingaire almost breaks a hip falling on the grease slick.

Kuti bites at the assassin as she moves away, but only snaps at the misty air.

With a stern tone, Malakar is able to convince a merchant to move out of the way.

Suddenly, a strong gust of wind from the coast blows through, dispersing the cloud of obscuring mist.
The assassin looks up to the sky.
"Mus' be a nor'easter comin' in," she mumbles to herself.
That obscuring mist was a pain to deal with.

Corba can be seen laying unconcious in a pool of her own blood.

Inspire Courage is not in effect anymore.

Kuti no longer feels the burning poison coursing through her veins. The big cat attacks Violet, tearing gashes in the cultist's skin. The cultist cackles maniacally between yelps of pain.

Is Astingaire using bless or Inspire Courage? Player calls it one thing, GM another. I love the creativity in trying to skin a PC into seeming like something they're not, but I'm getting confused as to what the effect on the battlefield is. Beren is free of the tanglefoot bag if it's Inspire Courage; still stuck if it's bless, because bless doesn't boost damage.

I'll add movement if Beren actually is free right now.

Corba's bleeding has stopped, but she is still unconscious.

@GM:
Doesn't the assassin provoke an AoO from Leon when leaving his threatened area? She stabbed him and moved afterwards, so she did not disengage. Or does she have a special feature that allows her to do avoid an AoO for moving?
Additionally, Magenta should also provoke AoOs from Leon and Kuti for leaving their threatened area...

Leon used his AoO on his last round, so no go there. Kuti probably has one.

Hao Jin Cataclysm

Totally missed the AoOs. Kuti gets one vs Magenta.

Kuti snaps as the cultist darts away suddenly.

I didn't realize that tanglefoot bags continue to slow you even after you cut yourself free. I backed Beren up 10' as he wouldn't have been able to move as far as he did last round at half-speed. GM, are you tracking the 2d4 rounds that Beren is affected by the tanglefoot bag's speed reduction?

Since it could have become brittle and ineffective by now (3 rounds since it was thrown), I'll wait to take Beren's action until the speed reduction is confirmed.

Kuti moves quickly after her prey, snapping again at the cultist when she catches back up.

Kuti always catches back up.

The goo covering Beren's legs hardens into chunks and crackle off.
4 more rounds of hampered movement for Leon.

Shaking the last of the hardened tanglefoot goo off his legs, Beren hustles up to the assassin as fast as he can, just barely catching up. "You misunderstood me; it wasn't a question. You'll be handing the Key over or we'll just take it from you all dead-like."

Season of Ghosts

A fanfare of trumpets blasts loudly, breaking through the roar of the combat and ringing of clashing blades. Leading a mounted battalion of armored warriors, Sheila Heidmarch and her husband charge through the streets, driving through the waves of summoned fiends and forcing them to retreat back through their gates to the netherworlds from which they were called. In a matter of minutes, their assault is complete and the streets fall quiet.

Sheila Heidmarch then strides over to Quenly and peers at the key in his hand for a moment before proclaiming, "You have the REAL Runecarved Key!" The two hold it aloft, signifying a Pathfinder victory!

"Today, every one of you has contributed to a triumphant victory for our Society, and you have cemented our place in Magnimar. I’m deeply honored that you have granted me your services. While my lodge is small, you have made it feel like a kingdom. Yet our victory today is somewhat bittersweet. It seems dark forces have surfaced in Varisia - forces which, before today, I was unaware of. I’m sorry to have thrown you headlong into the middle of such chaos. I have already sent word to the Decemvirate of today’s events and await their response. When I know more, I shall contact you, for I fear this key has somehow placed all of us in danger. Still, we should go forth, for now is the time to celebrate!"

And that's it! Thank you everyone, GMs and players, for participating and making this event a success! :)
