AC 20 | HP 44/44 | HP 2/3 | F 11, R 10, W 7 | Per +5 | Conditions:

Go for it.

I moved the pendant to Kheyji's gear. It is a single use item, but might be particularly useful to avoid a healing critical that actually causes damage.

FYI, we may have another player joining who is a different one of my games. so don't be surprised if we work that in sooner or later.

AC 20 | HP 44/44 | HP 2/3 | F 11, R 10, W 7 | Per +5 | Conditions:

Sounds good to me.

We should probably have our highest survivalist take the compass. That looks like Kheyji as well.

Human Bard (Maestro) 3 HP: 35/35 | AC 18 |Per+8 | Fort +6 /Ref +8/ Will +8 Focus 2/2

Shepherd hoping to be promoted to songsinger someday.

He got tired of the massive dung piles from mammoth herding.

Let me know when I am good to join the team.

Welcome aboard, Diurn!

Human Bard (Maestro) 3 HP: 35/35 | AC 18 |Per+8 | Fort +6 /Ref +8/ Will +8 Focus 2/2

Then he draws out a flute. "I can also play the flute."

Had to throw in a reference to the new D&D movie which is awesome.

I confess, I enjoyed it myself. A fun romp!

I will try to get Diurn checked through over the weekend, but we can pick back up the story in the meantime.

I will take Tharskh and Satu off the active list.

Human Bard (Maestro) 3 HP: 35/35 | AC 18 |Per+8 | Fort +6 /Ref +8/ Will +8 Focus 2/2

Think Diurn is pretty accurate.
Have bardic knowledge denoted as a trained skill, when it may not technically be
Added wolf as an alias to make thinks easier.

Was going to buy extra blankets, but they are 5s and I had 3s left.

Human Bard (Maestro) 3 HP: 35/35 | AC 18 |Per+8 | Fort +6 /Ref +8/ Will +8 Focus 2/2

Except for the 'minor' drawback of how to fit the mammoths on the canoes, Diurn had a good idea. As a mammoth herder, he shoulda know better.

AC 20 | HP 44/44 | HP 2/3 | F 11, R 10, W 7 | Per +5 | Conditions:

Oh, it's easy to make a canoe that can fit a mammoth. You start by cutting down a sequoia tree...

Welcome, new guy!

I can tell you from experience that this group is very welcoming of new players, as I also joined well after the game had begun.

Kheyji is here to heal folks and chew bubblegum. And I am pretty sure the frozen north is low on bubblegum.

We will raid for it!

Bubble Gum for the Broken Tusk!

Red Cat Cave is well known for its storehouse of bubblegum among other things.

Catgut isn't bubblegum, it makes good tennis raquets.

Oh, thank you for the reminder!

Human Bard (Maestro) 3 HP: 35/35 | AC 18 |Per+8 | Fort +6 /Ref +8/ Will +8 Focus 2/2

Diurn is not a martial and has replaced all his javelins with spears.

Note, spear is simple with 20' increment javelin is martial with 30' both cost the same at one silver.

What about his two light hammers, he is not trained in them and plan on making them our barbarian's next birthday present.

I didnt notice the wall in the way with blue, have Diurn attack pink from the bank, I moved him to a different space.

Human Bard (Maestro) 3 HP: 35/35 | AC 18 |Per+8 | Fort +6 /Ref +8/ Will +8 Focus 2/2

Oops spears are 1 bulk switched all back.

Diurn is Hurik’s squire carrying extra weapons for him.

Did I miss something? Dangrous Sorcery only applies to spell slots.

Inspiration is in play ala our Bard, unless I misread

Human Bard (Maestro) 3 HP: 35/35 | AC 18 |Per+8 | Fort +6 /Ref +8/ Will +8 Focus 2/2

Yep, inspire works on spells.
And, bards get color spray in 2e!!

Quote:

3rd Action- If Pink is dead, he moves forward and twists to face his foes so he won't have a foe at his back. If Pink lives, he strikes again.

I did not word it well... but Hurik is in the wrong place. I wanted to move him where Pink was at the edge of the ship so it would hinder flanking. But i couldn't move his counter there because I didn't know if it was a killing blow... would that change getting hammered FOUR times?

PS: I've moved him to where I wanted him to demonstrate. And sorry if I sound weasely but the whole reason I took that third action quoted above was to avoid this very thing (More than two foes flanking) if possible

I missed inspiration, and +10 points for recognizing Johnny Dangerously. "Farging Icehole" would have made it too obvious. :)

Once upon a time, this was my best friends favorite movie. We probably watched it 100x

Human Bard (Maestro) 3 HP: 35/35 | AC 18 |Per+8 | Fort +6 /Ref +8/ Will +8 Focus 2/2

Diurn realized when he tried to make friends with slavers.

Jordy Verrill you lunkhead!! A reference to one of Stephen King’s few acting performances in Creepshow 1982.

On a scale of 1 to Johnny Dangerously Creepshow is a 5. Heavy Metal, however, although animated is still an awesome movie.

At this point, I think I am just going to let this play out as we have it. I think you will be fine. Feel free to use the arrow tool and draw your planned movement if its contingent (or otherwise). It'll help eliminate confusion. So i moved you back for now. So, I put you back where you didn't intend to be, but with the Color Spray affecting all three beside you, I think you will be at a tactical advantage anyway...

Understood. Thanks for hearing me out.

If I had known they were wearing human skull kneepads, I would have been more suspicious. I don't know if human skulls give you the effect you expect out of kneepads unless it is intimidation.

I had to look this up recently

Forced Movement:
When an effect forces you to move, or if you start falling, the distance you move is defined by the effect that moved you, not by your Speed. Because you’re not acting to move, this doesn’t trigger reactions that are triggered by movement.

If forced movement would move you into a space you can’t occupy—because objects are in the way or because you lack the movement type needed to reach it, for example— you stop moving in the last space you can occupy. Usually the creature or effect forcing the movement chooses the path the victim takes. If you’re pushed or pulled, you can usually be moved through hazardous terrain, pushed off a ledge, or the like. Abilities that reposition you in some other way can’t put you in such dangerous places unless they specify otherwise. In all cases, the GM makes the final call if there’s doubt on where forced movement can move a creature.

But they could be sexy skull kneepads...

It is specifically called hydraulic push...

I looked at the angle which is oblique at best, and figured the barge had some sort of gunwale that would've kept him from falling over the edge, and the push was likely to take the path of least resistance which would be the backwards on the deck.

I will be out of town starting tomorrow AM through Sunday late. I am unlikely to post or advance the game during that time. apologies for the delay, but will pick back up on Monday and see if Hurik and Wolf get swept away on the barge.

Sorry for radio silence on my part. Mental health stuff. I'm back to my normal semi-functioning self and will get caught up.

You can add +1 damage to spell damage rolls from inspire. With 2 focus points and good performance rolls we get 6 rounds of it.

1 person marked this as a favorite.

Very much appreciated. I will try and let you know if it happens again before I go radio silent. Gaming usually helps, but sometimes it is difficult to get my brain to let me do the things I enjoy; it has a mind of its own.

I appreciate you botting Kheyji during what was a very cool battle sequence.

Sorry for some inattention. Went to GotG3 last night, had RL Pathfinder session this evening.

Will get caught up tomorrow.

Diurn would like to consult with the "veterans" for advice on how much they should share. He is feeling bad he trusted the slavers too much.

Revealing their travel directions seemed something she would know as soon as they started traveling, so he threw that in to share something.

It's not the first time the group has been ambushed by seeming friends, so being skittish is expected eventually.

FYI, you are able to recruit Harbinna to join the following, she can act like a lieutenant. Shaggy Shemven, who you met back at Rockloom, is one as well.

These lieutenants can be recruited as NPC cohorts to join you on specific missions throughout the AP, though they expect a share of the treasure generated from their efforts. Keep it in mind if you want some more muscle etc for a specific encounter later.
