I agree about keeping track.

One thing I've done as a GM is if I see that things seem to be getting a bit unbalanced, I tweak the treasure to fit the underrepresented characters more. A tracker would help that.


I will get it set up and linked at the top margin. Might take just a bit of orientation to understand it, but will provide when I get it up.


Here is the Loot Tracker I usually use for PBP games.

The first tab is found, but not allocated loot. Usually this is things that will be sold. If an item is in this list, it can't be used in rounds as it is held by "no one".

The second tab is actual cash. I need your starting amounts to keep this current. Purchase will be deducted, finds will be added etc.

The third tab is loot that is assigned with approx value, so you can see how things have weighted out over time.

I will attach at the top margin if you are ok to use going forward.

Gravity Weapon is what we call a focus spell. You start with one focus point, and you can recharge it by spending ten minutes in an appropriate class activity. This can overlap with another exploration activity. So for a ranger scouting, sneaking, hunting, or observing wildlife are the kinds of activities that would recharge this.

I think it's obvious that ten minutes haven't passed. But Gravity weapon lasts one minute or ten rounds. Since we finished this so quickly, I expect that you'll have some rounds left when we start the next fight.

So what does our most beneficent Game Master think? Would he have some rounds left on his spell?

Hunted shot has flourish, and you can only use one flourish action each turn. But if you have an action left you can still use strike after this.

Yes, unless it's an agile weapon, the third strike is at -10

Per the text, characters should reach level 2 after the Burning Mammoth attacks on Rockloom. That's now!

Up to you re: Battle Medicine. It is a good skill to save party members (including yourself) but might be other options, if you choose.

I, for one, would not mind someone else in the party having the ability to heal on the fly. Say, for example, if Kheyji were to go down, just to pick a random example.

I will get Kheyji leveled up here shortly. I need to look back at my options, but this is when she will dip into the Sorcerer Archetype (as Sister Cinder blesses her with the element of flame).

It never hurts to have multiple people who can do some emergency healing. Kheyji can't be everywhere.

She took the Sorcerer Dedication Feat (Elemental Bloodline) and the Assurance Skill Feat for Medicine.


I think Kheyji is good to go. Only question is about cleric cantrips. You show 6, but can't you have only 5 prepared per day?


Tharskh - got a name for the wolf companion? Maybe you can post the story about how you found the pups in character. There will be some down time as the following moves, so it could happen then.

Also, just confirm if its Battle Medicine you are taking.

Okay. Sorry, still trying to make sure I've got all the numbers adding up right for everything...

But I can say for Class Feat: No Escape
For Skill Feat: Hefty Hauler

I picked Hefty Hauler because it seemed to be realistically of use for a tribe on the move... also, I hate encumbrance rules in any system even if they really are quite logical ;)

Correct. I have 6 on there, but I’m tracking which ones are prepared with an “x” in the column to the left.

I just remembered I need to prep another 1st level cleric spell, too. I could use some input from the group: command, create water, protection, or something else?

Command can be really useful when it works.

I don't think that Protection is that great at this level. We're facing a lot of animals and the bad guys aren't necessarily all evil.

Admonishing ray can be useful if we have to fight a person or animal that we don't want to kill.
