After three days of rest, the butler passes out notices of a town meeting the night the next day and all are requested to attend. It will meet in Owl Tavern as that is the biggest building.

Do you do anything interesting? All daily quests are waived as the random loot boxes merely give simple items of your choice.

On the forth day of Krazok's rest the town closes down early and people fill the inn to the brim.

As the last one enters and sits down, the lights all go out. The lights quickly come back on with Lady Narcise floating above the crowd with her attendants with her. A thunderous applause comes from the crowd. She bows and uses another spell for her to whisper and all easily hear her. In a calm and luscious voice she states, "My children rejoice as our savoirs have decided to take residence with us." The crowd cheers and when they settle she continues, "I present to you Sire Zaidel the Benevolent, Easier of Pain." After Zaidel floats up she presents him with a deed and a medal. "He will purge the Saffron Estate and take residence there." Once the crowd settles and Zaidel says a few words she introduces the next one 'Sire Stratton' and then 'Sire Jean' with the same procedure. Though they each likely fly of their own accord.

The crowd goes wild! After an hour of cheering and booze passing many are out cold drunk. You likely drink with them but can out drink them as a whole pretty easily. Towards the end, being tipsy let's see who keeps up the longest. Fort DC 24, if you save you are up with Lady Narcise.

"Fair enough, Lady Narcise", Zaidel said, genuinely happy to know where he stands with the Owl Port Mayor. "Friends, it is." The satyr even offered his hand to shake.

"As for Shatash, feelings were never discussed. I am a caydenite. Freedom is our motto. I hold no ownership over Shatash, and she should feel the same."

So if Zaidel is not sleeping with Lady Narcise, he sleeps next to Krazok on the floor, not in bed.

As Zaidel sleeps he hears creaks and moving around in the room, he easily hears someone. Looking up you see Krazok doing his best to be quiet going to the bathroom. You likely roll over and listen trying to go back to sleep. Then the bed moves but you hear him shuffling around still. Looking up you see he is trying to get his armor on.

The ladies of the room swoon over to Zaidel, but with a look from Cayden they stop.

He walks over and touches the half-dragon, a hand on his shoulder and states, "Sorry one level drain is nothing. Though a restoration spell is needed to remove it. But for you my good and faithful servant..." He trails off as magic courses through his hand into Krazok.

Krazok drops to the floorboards and begins to giggle. Cayden quickly explains, "He is Cursed with drunkenness, keep him liqoured up with non magical booze and after 24 hours he will have been restored. Also a few bonuses if you keep it up. Otherwise he will stop being drunk each hour."

Looking down at the ridiculous half-dragon, Zaidel shakes his head and asks, "Alright, Krazok! What's your poison? What shall I serve you?"

His demeanor hardens more than you have seen before, solemnly he states, "There is little I could do to help. The trials... I would have to sacrifice this mortal coil to help. Don't expect him to come back. He is still alive. Killing Hydras... you should finish that quest when you are able to. That is the first step in returning him. On your trip you will pass alters and temples pay homage to them and offer healing at no cost and it may aid his return. You could go to the temple district and get a head start. One of my servants can tend to Krazok's needs."

Zaidel steps behind the bar, and starts to make Krazok his drinks. The cleric also serves his deity as well, the satyr's face a mask of concentration and thought. "No, Boss. If serving drinks will get Krazok back to full health, I'm prepared to do that." Zaidel even starts serving drinks to others in the bar without realizing it.

"Should I visit Alia and her family at The Spire, then? Any word of Queen Mia and Angelica?"


He simply states, "We haven't had reason to check on them. We have seen Mia and Angelica several times come in for drinks."

The satyr keeps working on pouring drinks listening to Cayden. Finally, Zaidel sighs, and begins to relay what happened recently.

"Boss. On our latest mission Jean, Stratton, and I impressed the Mayor of Owl Port. So much in fact, that she has given us titles of knighthood, and our own land and houses to live in. Jean and Stratton want to move the team's base of operations there. But I realize I have an obligation to you and Old Reunions, so I'm hesitant to move. But, thanks to the Blue Door tattoo, I can be here in a moment's notice."

Zaidel blinks. "Cayden? What should I do?"

Stratton comes across Maria Sandlewood, proprietor of Sandlewood and Leather, a local tool repair and sales shop, getting ready to open business for the day. Maria, a young widower with a thin frame and short cropped brunette hair returns his smile and wave when he offers it, accidentally knocking over a row of shovels and rakes. They share a brief laugh and Stratton helps her pick things up. They share a brief, warm conversation, and he helps her finish setting up for the day, sweeping the floor, setting up smaller displays, and helping her move a vat of leather dye.

He also crossed path with Argent Spinehollow, a wirey young lad with grey eyes and chestnut hair, who collects the town's trash in a large wheelbarrow for disposal at the local dump half a mile from town. Stratton greets the boy, and walks and talks with him, helping the collection effort and taking a turn at dragging the wheelbarrow. Argent mentions that he has seen signs of scavengers at the dump, and Stratton accompanies him their. It turns out t5he scavengers are raccoons who have built a nest near the dump and look for scraps of food. Stratton recommends a deterrent smell, like pet urine or soap and pepper sauce to encourage the raccoons to move on.

Lastly, as he returns to town, he stops in at Cedar and Nail, where Thoman and Francis Bevven, the local carpenter and thatcher are receiving a supply wagon of goods and lumber. Stratton helps them unload the wagon and place the goods in storage. As he helps, he talks with the pair about the abandoned manors and what repairs they may have to recommend.


He looks at you flummoxed, "Obligations? No don't worry about that. If the three of you are moving to Owl Port, I may as well. Most of my clergy are on the road. Move, be free, have a good time!"

Zaidel's eyes widened. "Okay! Okay, Boss! I need to pack what I have, and we'll be ready to go.." The cleric stopped himself. "Unless there's anything you need to bring..Cayden?"

The satyr comes back downstairs in a few minutes. His things are mostly love tokens from Calistra's Bordello, and the various pieces of art given to him by his fan's after the concert.

Zaidel quickly kisses Aurora on the cheek, and shakes Spade's hand. As he leaves, the cleric pat's shoulder of the icon bouncer.


He shrugs apparently not needing anything. He looks over and states, "Aurora if you don't have any missions I would like your escort."

Spade is there to send you off. Aurora stands beside Cayden ready to go. Cayden is holding a simple tote bag over one shoulder. He pulls out his rapier swishes it about and then sheathes it. "Okay, onward."

”Well, Boss”, Zaidel began. ”Owl Port of a small town next to a river. The town's ferry helps people cross it. Owl Port is near several large forests and plains, and I think it's near several fey conclaves, or a portal to The First World. It has it's own lumberyard, which does a fair amount of work from the nearby forests. The town once had serious problems with the local fey. But once Lady Narcise, a fey lord, was made mayor, things have been better for both communities. I think you'll like her, Boss.” the cleric gives his deity a playful 'wink'.

”The town has a tavern, run by a half-orc named Shatash, who's really into bondage. Like most taverns, the place is the center of social interaction in the town, and has strong caydenite vibes; but I'll let both of you decide that for yourselves. The people themselves seem very welcoming. If I'm still living in Owl Port by 7th level, I'll likely start training new clerics, bards, and swashbucklers there. Stratton thinks our manors have vampire squatters, which make sense, considering the mass exodus from Avalon, from what I've heard.”

”There is supposed to be a mega dungeon underneath Owl Port, the rest of the team wants to investigate after we get settled in. Aeria Gloris just took care of a large amount of marauding monsters in the area with the Big Game quest. Heck, hopefully we'll be able to complete it and get our warden home soon!”

This is Zaidel's first time at The Spire since Mia took over as Regent. The satyr knocks on the door. "Hail to thee, Queen Mia of The Spire!"

Stratton spends the day about town again after the dailies the next day, but this time he focuses more on getting their various quests back on track. Seeing the screen's message, he begins inquiring around town about any Crystaline Fiendish Elk sightings, and if any are mentioned, does his best to get surveyor maps of the areas they have been spotted, to look for potential hiding/nesting spots.
