| Zaidel |
"Godly business, no doubt", Zaidel nodded at his deity.
"Krazok, would giving you my pristine hydra head help in your efforts with your tribe?" The satyr asked. "I have no real need for it, other than as a trophhy."
| Stratton of Arcanium |
"Helping Krazok sounds like a good plan. It does seem like we can collect a lot of powers. I am not sure what it all leads to though." Jean says in reply. "How were you thinking of traveling?"
"I was hoping to fly, but apparently gaining multiple templates isn't something Matthew's chausible allows, or maybe it's just plain against the rules altogether. So I think horseback is the way to go. Besides, the quest mentions a sacrifice of calves or bovine, so I think we need to secure some of those along the way. Maybe that should wait until we are closer to Krazok's homelands."
Jean de Montes
|
"Maybe we should look for some cool magical bovine. I think some pictures I saw back in the day made Gorgons look like evil cows." Jean says, "But if we do that there is a chance some of us get turned to stone."
| Zaidel |
"Jean. Stratton." Zaidel said, getting his fellow knights of Owl Port's attention. "I think I can take care of the sacrifices. I can make high-quality wines and alcohols. Enough to cover everyone's sacrifices. I think".
Jean de Montes
|
"That would be cool. Thanks for doing that Zaidel." Jean tells the satyr.
| Krazok Vell Firesource |
"Godly business, no doubt", Zaidel nodded at his deity.
"Krazok, would giving you my pristine hydra head help in your efforts with your tribe?" The satyr asked. "I have no real need for it, other than as a trophhy."
"Sorry I am confused by this. How does... would the head help in my effort with my tribe? A trophy to go on your mantle! I suppose it might help we are a warring type."
| Zaidel |
Zaidel sighed. "I don't know. I thought you needed the trophies for some tribal ritual. But ..thank you. And I think after this meal, we'll be ready to journey with you to your tribe to assist in any way we can."
| Stratton of Arcanium |
Stratton chuckles to himself.
Kind of like offering an ape's head to a human, I'd imagine.
"I'm ready to head out whenever you're ready, Zaidel, Krazok, and Jean. Since I travel with almost everything I own these days anyway. I think we've gotten the rest of our business for today done, so, yes, I think after the meal we're at your disposal, Krazok."
| Krazok Vell Firesource |
He growls out a bit confused still, "No I don't know about any tribal ritual. You could offer it up to be a gift."
As he finishes his plate he gets up and walks over to another table to his backpack and gear. All geared up with the many weapons in sheathes he asks, "Does someone have a portal to Owl Port, or are we hoofing it?"
| Zaidel |
Zaidel looked confused. "The Spire is in Owl Port lake, currently. We are a short boat ride or flight into town. Should we meet with Lady Narcise, first thing?" The satyr asked.
Jean de Montes
|
"Or we could be mysterious and just disappear for a bit. But they would probably be more comfortable knowing where we were." Jean says.
| Stratton of Arcanium |
"Yeah, best at least leave a message with her. Do we want to make this a cattle drive or try to pick up bovine later? I mean wine rhymes but I think the quest may be more specific than that." Stratton says, standing to leave.
Jean de Montes
|
"I think we need to find some special cattle. It seems to easy to just pick up a random cow and bring it along." Jean says.
| Zaidel |
"Yeah, best at least leave a message with her."
Zaidel nods and retrieves his magic cellphone.
| Stratton of Arcanium |
"True enough. Or perhaps we'll find a prize bovine worthy of calling a proper sacrifice. Either way, we won't get there gabbing around here." Stratton stands. "Anyone in Aeria Gloris who fancies a walkabout is welcome to come, of course, but I understand if you have enough to keep you occupied here for the moment."
Jellena Darkling

Wait isn't there just one?
I am a good several hours away still.
After about 20 minutes you get another text:
[b]"I got a Woodlands' Ingress. Do you want me to teleport to Owl Port or somewhere else?
| Krazok Vell Firesource |
He leads the way out of the Spire. On the deck of the entrance he stretches out his wings and then take a running jump to fly. Quickly he rises above the mist and flies north.
| GM Wolf |
Jean and Zaidel follow as well, Jean likely flying circles around the group. Zaidel is likely using the same ability and flies beside Stratton.
How long does your fly last? Jean and Krazok likely carry the others after they drop down and unable to continue flying.
It takes a little over an hour to see the spire of the mayor's house.
| Zaidel |
Zaidel can cast fly three times a day for 15 minutes at a time, currently
Seeing the spire in the near distance, Zaidel shouts over the wind. "Well! Seeing how we're here, might as well greet the Mayor!"
| Stratton of Arcanium |
How long does your fly last? Jean and Krazok likely carry the others after they drop down and unable to continue flying.

About 4 minutes, so not that long. On the other hand, I can reach the ground and move at a 50 ft move rate there.
Jean de Montes
|
"Stopping by the mayors makes sense. But there is a...oh...30% chance there is another mission waiting for us there. So lets try and stay focused." Jean says.
| Zaidel |
"Of course", Zaidel agreed. "Besides, we're on our own quest to help Krazok and his people."
As he finishes his plate he gets up and walks over to another table to his backpack and gear. All geared up with the many weapons in sheathes he asks, "Does someone have a portal to Owl Port, or are we hoofing it?"
"Was there a particular reason you wanted to come to Owl Port, Krazok?"
| Krazok Vell Firesource |
He calmly yells so you can here him, "No particular reason. It is just a point of reference, we could track down the trail the leads North West. Most prefer to use cities as reference points. Also you want to get your dragon horses, right?"
| Zaidel |
"Umm.." Zaidel murmured. "The dragon horses we paid for last time are..back in New Faces."
| Krazok Vell Firesource |
"Oh okay, I must have missed that in my recovery time. So to Owl Port or North West?" He asks realizing he must have missed.
| Zaidel |
Zaidel began to look uncomfortable. "Well, since The Mayor's office is right here, we could visit and see if Stratton's, Jean's, and my manor keys are available?"
| Stratton of Arcanium |
"How did we not ride them? Also, do you still have a town portal to New Faces? Maybe we use that after meeting with the mayor's staff?" Stratton inquires.
| Krazok Vell Firesource |
Sense Motive: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (3) + 1 = 4
He obviously doesn't pick up on Zaidel's feelings and states, "Sure whatever you want to do!"
| Zaidel |
"Thank you, Lady Narcise" Zaidel bows. "If the rewards are available."
Jean de Montes
|
Jean nods and looks around to see if there are any changes since last they visited while Zaidel does the talking.
Lady Narcise
|
She nods to the butler and he leaves. Within minutes he returns with a silver tray with three leather strapped scroll cases. She takes the black one and hands it to Stratton, the red one for Jean, and the brown one for Zaidel. She calmly states, "The title, keys, and floor plans are within."
The room seems like it has been cleaned more throughly but the books and other items around the room seem the same.
| Zaidel |
Zaidel carefully examines his new title and the floor plans of his manor. It looks expansive, with at least two floors.
"Thank you for his honor, dear lady." The satyr looks around the room. "Are you expecting anyone else today, Lady Narcise. The office looks particularly spotless and your attire is very more beautiful tahn normal." Diplomacy: 1d20 + 44 ⇒ (17) + 44 = 61
| Zaidel |
Zaidel gently pats his fingertips in applause. "Oooo! Lady Narcise! Do you know Jeleena?" The satyr looks eager for details.
| Zaidel |
"Sorry. Sometimes I mix my Common and Sylvan dialects", Zaidel answered sheepishly. "Any interesting history you wish to share about our new abodes, Lady Narcise? Do they have established names? What about the previous owners?"
Lady Narcise
|
She in turn states sheepishly, "Honestly I only know what you now know. I haven't been to any of them before or after I became Mayor. Honestly I didn't look over the deeds that much."
You are more than welcome to suggest previous names and such for the manors/houses. Also any history you wish to create about the previous owners will grant you bonuses.
Jean de Montes
|
I would like my manor to have belonged to a famed arcane caster who was often seen around the grounds but never seen using the doors. Rumors of strange experiments, nothing of which was ever actually proven, would of course abound and it was chosen for me as an Arcanist.
"Thanks, we will need to explore them as soon as we get back." Jean says as he gets his red scroll case.
| Stratton of Arcanium |
Stratton examines his deed. "Lovely, thank you ever so much. We've a bit of a journey we're about to embark on to finish a quest we started, but I believe this will be my top priority upon returning to our lovely village."
Lady Narcise
|
She calmly states, "Your manors and lands will not worsen for lack of attention in the near future. They will be there when you return. We look forward in seeing you in the future. If there isn't anything else my man will escort you out."
You finish your hot or cold beverage and soon get escorted out. Where to now ?
| Zaidel |
"Um, thank you, Lady Narcise!" The satyr said as the groups being pushed out.
"When you're done with Jellena, tell her Aeria Gloris will be at the tavern."
Jean de Montes
|
"We will travel faster with the dragonhorse things. We should go get them and then be on our way." Jean says.
| Zaidel |
Zaidel receives many head turned his way, as he makes his way through the local bar. The satyr waves at Shartash in passing. "Hey, babe."
The cleric walks up to the mysterious woman in darkness, thinking she is The Voice of The Mistress. "Jellena?!"
