No, as you can tell I likely will not bot you. I hope each of you will contribute more to this campaign. You do remember it should be a sandbox game. When you can't interact with each other or the NPCs or state actions , it slows down the game a lot. Not much I can work with. Cordovan Manor:

This mansion was constructed some hundred and thirty three years ago close to the heart of the village. The original owner, Sylphe Cordovan (nonbinary half-elf aristocrat 4/ expert 3) had the manor constructed with a second-floor balcony and veranda, as they enjoyed watching the commonfolk bustle below on hot afternoons. They were a generous sponsor of various parades and holiday celebrations in their neighborhood.

Upon their death one hundred years ago, the manor was passed to their nephew Osalot Cordovan (male human aristocrat 3, summoner 4), an orphaned only child who cut the funding of parades and parties in favor of experiments and rituals. Osalot maintained possession of the property until he died at the age of 102 some 40 years ago, and the manor's possession defaulted to the town's ownership after a rigorous search for any surviving family members yielded no results.

You both have unlocked two secret rooms. One associated to the previous owner and another you could easily retrofit into for your craft.

Well to tell you the truth this week has been one challenge after another. Lots of work which has taken a lot of my overall time. Then on Tuesday I came down with some kind of stomach bug. I was out sick Wednesday sleeping to recover. Then sleeping and catching back up to a healthy state. Sorry for my absence this week as you can tell it has been rough.

For my keep, I am going with this Guild Tower as a good wizards tower. For the purposes of size, the stairs should be 10 ft wide for a large creature to easily move up and down which makes the floor space on each level pretty wide for me.

This is a very interesting question.

Krazok and Jellena are apart of our group, for sure. But are we considering them members of Aeria Gloris? Krazok came to us to help him and his tribe. To me, he hasn't said anything about joining us, just wanting the group's help.

Then, there's Jellena. She already a member of an adventure's guild. (I think they're called the Night Hawks) And Jellena is much more than 'just an adventurer',
she's a head of state; Jellena is the head of a religion! Far more powerful politically than any member of Aeria Gloris? Jellena also has very strong ties to Avalon, being one of it's king's advisors. I doubt she will renounce all those ties, just hang with some backwater nobles for a Mythic Quest.

The there's the problem of if Jellena DOES join Aeria Gloris? Thank to a wish, every member of Aeria Gloris becomes a gestalt character. Jellena is already a gestalt character. Does she become Quad-stalt if she joins the team officially.

Jean is laid back and so he is fine with both joining if that is what they want. This might be a slight amount of overconfidence being a dragon and all.

He is not sure if Jellena has alternative motives that she has not shared with the group yet, but is willing to give her the benefit of the doubt for now.

As for Krazok, I also thought he was more looking for help rather then continuing to travel with us. But if he wants to keep traveling after we finish helping him, Jean would welcome his presence.

I thought they were both joining us as travelling companions for this trip, with the rest TBD later. Jellena seems interested in becoming a more permanent type of companion, but haven't seen anything from Krazok that would indicate he's along for more than the quest to9 get him home.

I'm open to expanding our relationships with them and becoming more steadfast companions in the long run.

Sorry for the delays, sickness and not sleeping the best have been an utter drain on me.


I am not sure where this week went. I feel like I had a bout of depression and could not be inspired. I had work evaluations so that probably hit me hard, even though I did well. I put too much stress on myself.

On my health side, I still have a cough that seems to get better then flares up again. Luckily my lungs have cleared up.

I should be on daily this weekend and should be ready for game advancement come next week!

Message sends a whispered message. There is a DC 25 Perception check to hear it. In theory, this would have the -1 per ten feet as well. It also doesn't translate. So at some point we might want to specify if we are speaking in an unusual language.

Hello, the GM kindly invited me to peruse active campaigns and I thought this concept sounded fun. Though, looking at the recruitment opener vs where your characters are now has left me a little bewildered. XD

Would it even work to bring in fresh blood at this point? Or would transitioning a newbie just be a hassle and hamper campaign momentum? Please don't hesitate to naysay if you feel like it would detract from your game.

Considering myself as I really am, my most natural class would be some variety of Bard. (I'm a Theatre/SPED teacher by vocation) Unless I went really honest and embraced an NPC class like Adept/Expert, lol! But of course, you already have a bard, so I might struggle to find a useful role.

Also, I don't comprehend where/how I would begin. Build according to the recruitment? You guys didn't begin as Gestalt right?

Gestalt comes with becoming a member of Aeria Gloris, our adventuring party. So likely some RP introduction would happen first.

*The more powerful the ability the higher chance that you will gain a curse with it or it will be more quirky, thus if you ask for the legendary sword excalibur you would get it with some small adjustments like it being intelligent and having its own purpose. If you just asked for a magical sword with a property of vorpral on it there is a smaller chance of a curse attached, lastly would be a +1 Keen Weapon that would have no curses. Again ask questions think of different options and power levels, we can talk about what is overpowered, which is not much.

Everyone will start as human obviously but their will be quests and shops that will let you change your race in game. Most classes will be accepted, no occult classes please. Also eventually you can have more powerful race choices but it will cost you some wealth or wishes.

2 traits. Background skills and feat tax adjustments are encouraged. If you have any questions please ask.

Starting gear: What did you have with you when you died and honestly based off your life a normal day what would you have? Typically I have my keys, wallet, phone, ipad, snacks, pens, misc. medicine and a carry bag to hold the last two. You also might have just went to the convenience store and bought a meal and perhaps a few other items.

For a special ability/wish, I definitely need to be a big sap and have some means of contacting my kids back IRL. I know that's silly and overly sentimental, but I can't bring myself to abandon them even fictionally in a death/isekai scenario. It could be as simple as my phone can still send them texts/calls from the beyond. Possibly, I can have some kind of spark ability to keep said phone active. The Doctor can alter phones with his sonic screwdriver to make calls across time and space so a little plane-jumping shouldn't be too hard. XD I don't imagine it would have much mechanical effect in game so it might not warrant spending these but I thought I should ask.

So I apparently brought some attention onto the recruitment thread with my rolls. If you want to call gamers to the table, just rattle some dice, lol!

My build is almost done, but I need a little guidance on how the extra benefits of the game will work to nail down final decisions. I'm going with a Court Bard archetype. I feel like this is helpful to the party without too much overlap on Zaidel and it suits my sarcastic, smart-ass personality. Follower of Desna and going all in with the Starknife and Shooting Star Divine Fighting Technique. Also want to prestige into Sphere Singer ASAP. So if I ended up with some bonus ranks in Sing, I could potentially apply it now.

I haven't worked with Gestalt much. My thoughts toward a second class are along the lines of, in order
1) Summoner, with my Floof (dog) as my Eidolon
2) Magical Child Vigilante Archetype, with my Floof as my Animal Guide (familiar)
3) Sorcerer, Fey/Sylvan finding some way to insert Floof as an animal companion or familiar, but much prefer the idea of her being unkillable like the eidolon or animal guide.
4) More standard vigilante class

Magical child has some fun schtick, but it's just not a great archetype mechanically. It really just looks like it tried to be a hybrid of a Summoner/Vigilante but without any of the best stuff from either class. I'm mostly looking at Vigilantes because I ultimately want:

Twisting Fear (Ex) (Ultimate Intrigue pg. 16):
Whenever the vigilante causes an opponent to gain the shaken, frightened, or panicked condition, that opponent takes an amount of nonlethal damage equal to the vigilante’s reduced hidden strike damage, as the stress wears upon its body. A creature can’t take damage from twisting fear more than once per round. Panicked creatures that take damage from twisting fear are too winded even to scream as they flee in terror. Only a stalker vigilante can select this talent.

I'm attempting a nonlethal focused demoralizing debuffer build, and this talent would do a lot toward making it effective. I also don't know of any other feat/class feature that does it. It also depends on having something like a rogue's sneak attack feature as the base for the damage dealt, but it might be easier to pursue this goal through in-game rewards rather than part of the class chassis.

Any and all input welcome, thanks in advance!

Edit: Also needed to ask about how the Gestalt class is applied, do you get the same amount of feats as if you were drawing it up as a single class? Or do you have to split your feat allotment between the two? Skill points? HP? Is there a guide to look at?

Bard! Yes! Zaidel has a duet partner! Being a fey sorcerer would fit well, especially when we get back to Owl Port, but if you really want to play a magical girl, go for it!!! Either way, it sounds like the party will soon have another mascot in Floof!

Well that may be harder than you think. Making a simple last words to your family and such is possible. Zaidel did something similar. But you are set in a different universe 500 years ahead of Earth. Yeah a bit of lag time before you are 'reincarnated'.

Use your wish to boost your power somehow! You could also just hang onto the wish until after you meet the group.

You won't start with gestalt but once accepted into the group many things activate. You are more than welcome to work on the gestalt sheet, I would suggest copying and making a second edition of the character. Basically in a nutshell you take the better of the two classes. The better BAB, saves, HD, skills, etc. You gain the class skills of both classes, you gain the specials of both classes, you gain the spells of both classes.

Sounds good for me, hate to have stirred interest only to dash it away.

I have added a tentative build to the profile. I went ahead and took a dip of summoner just to have the Floof eidolon established and will update stuff from here as I get the info from the GM.

The concept is Court Bard to Sphere Singer on one side and a dip in Fey Sorcerer, mostly for the Arcana and then straight Summoner on the other side to keep the Summon Monster and Eidolon abilities up to par with the party. Hopefully that works.

If my special ability can be Phone Home like I mentioned above, I guess I would go for Kitsune race change as my wish.
