So crunch time for Brunhilde and I.

In what capacity? Did I sketch you for a slate board advertisement or two? Or did you put me on to deadbeat customers to have street gangs rob and share the proceeds with you?

So crunch time for Felver and I so we can build on the wagon ride.
Have we met? In what capacity? Maybe I bought you a few drinks after winning on one of your victories? Maybe one of the gangs I was involved in escorted you to or from fights?

I like the latter, although it doesn't explain what they are doing in a coach together.

I'm going with coincidence.
He wanted out of the area and with luck the coach was passing through AND he had the money to pay.

Just to know for future reference: Warhammer can be grim (depictions of poverty, disease, and cruelties) and fights, especially criticals, can be gory. It's a world where Chaos tries to get the upper hand by force and/or corruption
Are you at ease with that? Outside of the usual big NO! (torture, rape, violence against cats&kittens) do you have specific topics you want to avoid?

Nothing from my side either - like Gottfried I'm okay with elements of the big NO! if handled "off screen" so to speak, but happy enough with the "vanilla" grimdarkness of Warhammer.

if he turns your offer down does that prove he is a user of magic or I'd he accepts the offer I wonder? Perhaps if he scratches his left pointy ear or adjusts his pointy balls three times that means something? For gods sake you bunch will have yourself jumping at any shadow and beating at the walls Felver says

I live to serve. We're here to tell an interesting and amusing story, after all, and Brunhilde is so ineffective at anything combat-related that she might as well be amusing.

Brunhilde sits in the carriage saying every prayer she remembers from her childhood visits to the temples, although it's been a while, and her memory has never been the best.
"Sigmar protect us from those who are out to get us ... and um ... and from weird headless horsemen goblins in the night."
Just to be clear, I'm playing up her inexperience and fear against supernatural threats. She'd be happy to help the horses or the coachman if someone tells her to do so, she' just not a big one for taking the initiative. I'm also trying to play against the "stalwart adventurer" trope combined with the understanding that Warhammer FRP combat can be very short.
I think that there is nothing wrong with doing as such. If anything, it fits the setting really well, and for someone with her background, it would be jarring to see her clutch a club and go in screaming like a berserker.
And if we survive, and she grows in experience, it will make the transformation from 'scared civilian' into 'experienced adventurer' all the better!

Speaking OOC tactics. Right now I think we might have brought the horse down. Konrad is up to advantage 3, so as long as he doesn't get hit or otherwise lose his advantage, he should be matching the horseman's WS. If we can surround him for +20 to hit, then we might be able to bring him down. But even then it would be touch and go.
I think that the best bet would be to ensure that the horse dies, and then run like hell. Thoughts?

Not that she would tell you, but Brunhilde already thinks you're all crazy for challenging a fiend from beyond.

If it has fortune I’m guessing that it has fate. So probably a good time to flee.
And yeah…could have probably just ran away and now spent a truly limited resource. But rule of cool demanded that it be so, and besides, it’s probably better spend resilience than fate.

I am trying to figure out all this math for hitting and such. I haven't player since 2nd Ed and it was a lot more simple lol. There used to be an init which helped to propel encounters and who went when. Don't know if it's still there but it was simply automatic and easy long ago. Again go figure gaming and editions move on after 40 or so years...
