Just a heads up gang - had a couple of rush offshore jobs land of my lap this morning, so might be mid-week before I'm clear enough to contribute. Please bot Udo as/when/if necessary.

Offshore?
Yeah I'm in oil and gas here in NE Scotland. Ops Supervisor for a Integrity team (basically we get called if things go south and safety is an issue).
Sorry for the delay in posting, between some work overload, multiple personnal projects, and the doom and gloom of Ukraine events IRL, I had an hard time finding the inspiration to post.
Thanks to Konrad, he will know why as he read the spoiler.
I didn't give XP (yet!) , but Konrad reached his Short term ambition (50 XP)
If you still have starting XP unspent-or want to make a few changes about how you spent your starting XP-you can do it during the RP night. Just make sure to note any changes here in discussion.
Just a heads up folks I'm positively slammed at work - had a couple of additional jobs land of my lap today in an already busy week and need to do my team's performance review by Friday... also have our works Xmas do on Friday (at the 3rd tilt - covid allowing).
Posting might be pretty spotty until the weekend so please bot Udo as necessary.
Will post tomorrow, having quite an headache now, not enough sleep last night, and it might be a long post.
Sorry for tonight.
It seems, as I understand it, that everyone will try to find some work at the market, probably as unskilled laborers. Waiting for Brunhilde to post.
On an unrelated note, I was thinking about your short term ambiitons, and realised (a little late) that Konrad mixed his ambitions (that gives 50 XP) and his motivation (defeating a worthy opponent, which the Dullahan certainly was). Motivation doesn't give Xp, it gives back spent Resolve. Besides, during the fight with the Dullahan, I didn't wrote down Konrad spent Resilence point (which lessens his Resolve by 1 too)
Here's a list of short term ambitions (simple tasks to achieve) I thought of:
Udo: Meet the Master Mason and show your worth as apprentice (a +1 Sl on a skill roll)
Felver: Out perform your foe in single fight (deliver more damage than your foe-it doesn't have to be a fight to the death, a fist fight might do)
Imrik: Succesfully use magic to defeat a foe or overcome a challenge
Gottfried: stay legit: Win money by honest work, and spend it honestly
Konrad: Show your skills as a duellist (defeat an opponent in a public fight)
Brunhilde: get in the good graces of someone in power (at least Silver status)
As for group ambitions, I would say "Learn to work as a team"

Heartily sick of eaten posts. Appreciate Paizo for hosting the forums but they are buggy and have been for a while. Had two today alone.
I had written
Short-term Ambitions: Needs to Aquire decent clothes and mainstream employment, recommendation from OR semi formal association with a non criminal.
But we could simply it to Win money by honest work, and get in the good graces of someone in power (at least Silver status)
I'll check in later. I've been moved to night shifts BUT have construction in my place early in the mornings. The change in rosters AND my lack of sleep thanks to noise is destroying me atm.

Struggling to find in character motivation to stay in bumf!$+nowhere and get involved in local politics or mystery solving. I know Warhammer is meant to be dark and on the edge survival but we are literally one night from starting to pawn or sell weapons etc... with the prospect of having nothing left to sell after that and start starvation and exposure rolls.

Yep that is why I am asking the card to help us get a skilled job lol
So are we missing something? I understand survival is am important part of a story and urban survival and is not necessarily easy, but I am not sure why I would stay in this town. Hoping my magical hunting skills would get me to the next town is starting to almost seem more reasonable. If there is nothing but unskilled labor work here then its just a slow grind to death.

I'm gonna let the GM get it back on track... it could be to RP us into a feeling of desperation where will jump at a shitty Faustian deal etc.
I do enjoy that WHFRP is NOT D&D, we'll see where we are at after tomorrow (in game time), maybe the mcguffin will land etc

Yup, it’s how I see it. We all had a place to go. Now we are stuck in the middle of nowhere, with inhospitable wilderness all around us. We are in a small village where there isn’t much work for non-locals. It’s a desperate situation. So when the plot hook hits, even otherwise sensible people would jump at it.
