As you move throught the red-walled caverns, a tear in reality opens up, like stage curtains parting in the middle of the air. Beyond, Seelah tosses an emerald grasshopper back into a bin. She then picks up a scroll and turns to Ezren and Feiya. "Either of you able to hold and use this for me? You don't have to cast it on me, but it'd be nice if you could when appropriate." She it to Ezren.
Just as fast as it opened, the tear closes again.
Ezren, Feiya, and Maldlethu think this phenomenon was a temporary time rift. (Yes, it's MAGIC!)

A deep feminine voice echoes around the chamber, “Felise? Is that you?” It seemingly comes from all directions at once. Ezren, Feiya, and Maldlethu think it's another temporal echo. It echoes like the woman's voice calling for Heraxia did before.
Two creatures are hiding in the water. They lurch out of hiding to attack! I rolled really poorly on init again

To be clear, the Constrict is a BASIC fort save. So Siddartha came out of that round with 3 HP left after taking 24 B on a critical failure. he healed 6 so he has 27-24+6=9 HP current. You can use a hero point if you didn't know this was a basic save, but on a new post.
Siddartha moves in and strikes successfully but once. But he is there to provide a flank for the others.

Siddartha's fingers slash through the elemental once; it seems to have rather high AC. Maldlethu's MAGIC! quarterstaff bludgeons it while the cleric heals the monk again. 51 HP
A frowning Paladin slashes through the water and cuts twice. The fight isn't over yet; the creature is hardier than anyone thought. It may be that the smaller elemental is actually far tougher than the big one.
