You went from 2 Investigation Points (which would have gotten you no information) to 5 Investigation Points thanks to the Hero Points!
After taking a few minutes to search the compound, the Pathfinders realize that the records sheet is a clear forgery and contains subtle linguistic tells that identify it as a plant by the Whispering Way.
The group exits the warehouse, saying goodbye to the human and halfling (who barely pay attention to you). They make their way back to Selu, who is visibly relieved. Selu escorts you back to your ship, where you sail for Jalmeray.
Venture-Captain Rashmivati Melipdra greets you, "What did you find? Did you uncover the cause of the disruptions?"
Feel free to roleplay what you found, your journey back, and interacting with Melipdra.

I will freely admit to being confused by what we found. As we investigated, we were attacked by the "Zombies" working in the warehouse. They were actually some sort of Constructs disguised as Zombies. They were really hard to kill, and exploded with electricity when we finally defeated them.
Based on the records sheet we found, it looks like the Whispering Way has something to do with this.

"Yes, Eustace has spoken the essence of it. It appears that someone actually went through the trouble of dispatching three of the warehouse zombies and replacing them with constructs of their own making." Mirtha pauses to think for a bit. "I know naught of such creations but they seemed to be as lacking in mind and soul as the undead they replaced. That would indicate that there is someone nearby who has been controlling them. Unfortunately they did not reveal themselves."
Oops, forgot to fill out the RPG chronicles for this one. Did you need Mirtha's current GP and exact XP? I can update that tomorrow if needed.

"Yep, weird s$*% there." Adds in Scratch, leaning against the wall with a couple fruit 'samples' in hand, trying to figure out just how hungry he'd need to be to resort to undead handled food.
"Someone sure wants to frigg with their warehouse operations. Back in my day that always meant Aspis, but they say Whispering Way.. "
Recall Knowledge: Society/Occultism +8 vs Whispering Way
Emmanuel Holysmith

Manny munches into a juicy ruby red apple. "Whispering Way. They're behind this. The records are fake, but you can tell by their writing. And the zombies? Not zombies, some kind of constructs."
Society/Occultism/Religion +6 to Recall Knowledge about the Whispering Way.

Scratch: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (6) + 8 = 14
Manny: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (10) + 8 = 18
Manny has heard of the Whispering Way. They're an organization that promotes undeath. Beyond that, the details get hazy.
Melipdra raises an eyebrow. "Yes, this Whispering Way may be an external force trying to foment unrest in Geb and that the use of golems likely means that they are trying to frame Nex for this interference. The Society will have its eye on the region in the future as we continue to get to the bottoms of things. But you can rest knowing that the fruit trade in the region has been stabilized, at least for the time being."

Oskar nods in agreement as his companions explain what had been going on. He hadn't caught every detail but he is quite sure that with the addition of some music - composed by himself of course - it will all make for a most engrossing opera.
"Here, my friends, take these vouchers - once the curtain goes up they will get you 10% discounts for what are sure to be the hottest tickets in Absalom this season!"

"Should be better than whatever these deadites are playing." Manny shrugs and takes a coupon. "Hey Oskar, what's your style? I play the lute and I like to make speeches."
Oskar Z.

Oskar is delighted to discover that Emmanuel wants to jam. He grabs his lute as well, takes a few moments to compare fret positions, and then launches into a stirring rendition of his new opera's theme song, in which the valor of his pathfinder comrades is memorialized. "With heroes like all of you, it's sure to be a hit! The only difficulty will be finding actors up to the task..."

"Hey now, if yer all gonna play some tunes at least wait til the rest of us can round up some bevvies n snacks ok?" Scratch does what he can to get free booze and maybe a half drank keg that was left outside last night.
Thievery: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (3) + 9 = 12
"Hey, its outside on the side of the road.. where I'm from I'm doin' you a service of pickin' up trash!" He grumbles as he tries to make off with the goods.
