" I'd love to repay you for your help. I can make you any metal arms or armor you'd like, up to 50gp as a group, to show you my gratitude. I think you have some other stuff to deal with now but swing by after and we can work out the details."

After the healing is completed, the agents hear more commotion coming from the next building to the south.
Agent Ken Mason |
"Much appreciated sir. Have you seen any other unusual critters wandering around? It seems the menagerie here has had a few of their creatures escape."
After that, Mason heads towards the next building, stowing his bow and readying his rapier for action, just in case.
GM TK-421 |
" Sorry... I sort of hand my hands full when this one wandered in. Before that I was too focused on my work and didn't hear much over the banging of the hammer." the blacksmith replies to Mason.
The inside of this greengrocer’s shop is a mess of smashed fruit and spilled vegetables, with overturned bins and shelves scattered across the floor. A counter runs across the south end of the shop, guarding a narrow door to a back room. On the north side of the space, a huge shaggy beast with a cruelly hooked beak tears apart a display of gold wine-melons.
From off in a corner a door opens a crack and you hear a famle voice shout out, "Help me! And save my produce from this monster!"

Treat Wounds DC15: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (14) + 6 = 20

GM TK-421 |
Its too soon for Roscoe to do a Medicine check to treat wounds on Ialtag because he just did one at the end of the last combat. But its not necessary because Ialtag was at full hp and would have lost his Wounded condition anyway.
After wounds are treated, but before the Agents can check on the shop owner they observe something to the south. Tents, wagons, and carpets displaying goods for sale define a small marketplace just outside the zoo’s fence. Panicked merchants shout from behind wagon doors or tightly closed tent flaps. On one of the carpets, a lifesized statue of a merchant wraps its arms around an array of fine vases, as if trying to protect them from something. Several other small rugs and pillows have been piled haphazardly in the market’s center, around which stalks a strange creature resembling a batwinged chicken screeching challenges.
GM TK-421 |
Sorry for the delay. It would be Arcana or Nature to ID. Also if you cross the yellow line you have a good idea it will alert the creature to your presence. It seems very territorial. Anyone considering a ranged attack between the caravans.... it'll be a tough shot.
