The Itchy and Scratchy Shoooooow!
Still shaking! Congratulations and best of luck to my fellow 32er's!
Congratulations to all the top 32.
There's no names that jump out at me, as being either my usual sparring partners or my goofing-about buddies, so I should be able to vote with a clear conscience on the quality of the items themselves, with no temptation to favouritism.
Congrats to all the top 32! Best of luck to you all. Now if 3 or 4 of you could just kindly not submit to the next round.... ;) Just kidding. I'm excited and honored to be participating, if only as an alternate! A huge thanks to Paizo and the judges. Now, time to get working...

And another voicing of my congratulations in this thread. you all really deserve to hear it more than once ;)
Congratulations everyone!

True :) And honestly I don't expect that any of the top 32 will fail to submit to round 2. If you make it this far, one would think you'd be ready for the next step! But if I want any chance at all, I have to make a submission along with the rest of 'em. Either way, I'm mostly just excited to see all the awesomeness that always comes from this contest.
I think I already have my favorites, and those would be: Iron Bands of the Blue Dragon, Phlebotomist’s Gloves, Ampoule of False Blood, Bag of Holes and mainly the Assassin´s Rose (simple, elegant, subtle, love the flavor). Most of the items were really innovative, though, so congrats to all. Didn´t care much for only a few of them, but I´ll sure be giving these designers a fair shot in the next round, as I´m eager to see what everyone comes up with. For those who´ve already improved my attitude from indifferent to friendly, I really enjoyed your items and please don´t drop the ball!
Although a bit nerve-wrecking, this contest is amazing both to participate in and to watch, so make the best of this opportunity, guys!
Kudos and huzzahs to the lot of you. Well done.
Wow! As a relative newb to Pathfinder (my new favorite RPG), I'm honored and flabbergasted to be in such fine company. Thanks to the judges for considering my submission worthy and the non-judges that are gracious enough to give their honest feedback.
I'll do my best to impress in the next round.
BTW, is it okay to respond to questions from the first round and comment on other submissions, or is it best to keep quiet?
Congratulations to everybody that made it. I look forward to reading all of your entries.

I double checked the rules on that one, when voting is open on an entry (aka our archetypes) we're not allowed to make any responses to questions to clarify our entries. Seeing as our items have been selected already, you can respond about them.
If I am wrong, I will certainly be corrected, and then I will run to my own item and remove the response I made.
Jerry Keyes wrote: BTW, is it okay to respond to questions from the first round and comment on other submissions, or is it best to keep quiet? For this round, it's entirely up to you. Expounding on your design decisions is okay after the voting is done. For this round, only judges were voting...and we're done. So you can comment all you want. That can be a double-edged sword, though, depending on how the public views your commentary. In future rounds, you're not allowed to answer any questions or provide any further feedback or commentary until the public has registered their votes. After that, you can again comment as much as you want. And everyone will be watching to see what you say and how you conduct yourself.
Best of luck,
--Neil
Congratulations to all that entered and in particular to the top 32 now revealed.
I've read through all the items and have to mention a few that really attracted my attention for one reason or another:
- David Vigil: Candle of Viscous Ephemera
- Ethan Day-Jones: Eye of the Void
- John Spalding: Illusionist's Veil
- K. Patrick Barley: Seeds of the Spirit Totem
- Tom Phillips: Iron Collar of the Unbound Coven
- Trevor Watson: Talisman of Synchronicity
- Trevor Merback: Bag of Holes
All of the above had something that resonated superstar to me. They all gave me that little inkling of the designer behind the design. I can't wait to see round two when everyone starts getting serious about this whole thing. Best of luck!!!
Best Regards

Great stuff folks! Very proud of all of you. I'll drink a cold one in your honor when I get home...
Congratulations to everyone else who made Top 32 as well. Thank you judges for the vote of confidence, and I will do my best to continue to knock folks' socks off.
