Starting this one on October 10th, to try and get more players

![]() |

Looks like we have three signed up (low subtier), so feel free to discuss which pregen to bring along.

![]() |

Hi! I just signed up, I filled in the excel sheet, but not sure there is anything else I need to do for now?

![]() |

Just check back around the start of October for more directions...

![]() |

Just fyi, I'm in a short bounty PbP, I think it should be done by the 10th, but worst case I'll bring a lvl 1 alchemist bomber.

![]() |

Hopping in, will go with my level 2 investigator. see how this goes. Need to build his PbP profile by then, since I've never used him as a PbP character.

![]() |

I initially signed up with Khenari but if the party needs a good healer and I finish the adventure she is in atm I might switch to her.
I may be an Investigator, but I'm an Alchemical one... So I am an okay backup healer... Mostly because normal healing is very bad for my health as a Dhampir

![]() |

Hey all, it is time to start this quest!
Will likely finish in about 2-3 weeks (with posts once a day on average).
My own PbP combat style is to try and respect initiative order in resolving actions rather than just simple posting order (unless the sequence of events would benefit significantly otherwise). I'll roll initiatives at the start and some saves (or opportunity attacks) if I think they will affect my further actions in the turn to keep things moving. If you wish to delay on purpose, let me know, don't just wait on me. I will usually only update the combat narrative when everyone who can go has gone.
Make sure you roll for your actions in the order they occur in your turn. (Requested saves first and please do critical confirmations either immediately after the threatening roll or at the end of your attack sequence. Just be consistent. I will do the first method.)
Make sure you keep your tagline updated with the current value for your Saves, Perception, Initiative, and Armor Classes, considering your spells cast. Treat it as your verbal response if I were to ask you what the value was in a face to face game, because that is how I'll treat it. But don't worry about conditional modifiers like cover or prone, I'll handle that stuff.
I will try to keep track of everyone's ongoing buffs in the combat tracker during combats and will also show you enemy conditions (and heights, if they are flying), so we are all on the same page. Let me know if I missed something.
Feel free to ask about anything in the discussion threads or if you think I've ruled incorrectly or just made a mistake. You likely know your character better than I will. I'll make corrections as necessary, but I think we all know there are still some rules that are up to the GM's discretion. I try to rule by RAW for PFS, and stick to written tactics unless they are obviously illogical as the combat progresses.
Also, let me know if you need to take a short break from the game for any reason.

Other important thing that might be important to know, as it sometimes comes up from enemy abilities and/or NPC ally set actions: Dhampir, so heals from negative energy, hurt by positive. Luckily, potions and elixirs don't specify positive energy so I come with my own healing tinctures
Other other important thing to know: I have the "That's Odd" feat. Meaning when entering an area with something of importance that would normally take a perception roll to notice, I immediately get alerted that something is amiss. (The example given is that I will be told of scratch marks in the carpet if there is a hidden door.)

I have a eidolon, so it is difficult to have both my character and the eidolon's stats in the tagline, I'll keep it updated for the character and we can work out something for the eidolon if needed. (Or I can switch the eidolon to the tagline since that would probably come up more?)

There is actually a lot of space in the tagline. The text can go a lot wider than the text boxes. (you'll notice multiple of us here have multiple lines showing up.) As such, I'd recommend at least having your Eidolon AC and Saves visible, as those are the most important info not directly based off your main person. Putting them right after the Conditions tag makes a visible split. (It's how I have my own Summoner formatted, anyway.) If you need space, dropping the tag on Focus Points will give you some, as it's information that is more likely just personally tracked, same can be done for spells. Just a thought.

Thanks, good suggestions, I'll play around with it a bit when I get a chance and see if I can make something legible. I may also take a peek at your summoner and maybe copy something, lol.

Still waiting for two of you to check in but I'll go ahead and start the gameplay for intro and questions and then wait a bit for the others to join.

Listen, Jaune, We are the good guys, the serpents are the bad guys.
I'm glad I didn't try to magic weapon your weapons!
But don't worry you'll snap out of it soon.

![]() |

I did not know that was a thing I could do. I'll work on it my next turn.
"Each time you take damage from an attack or spell, you can attempt a DC 11 flat check to recover from your confusion and end the condition."

![]() |

With Kat's fatal fists flying, we are nearly done!
Make sure your player and character information is correct above and feel free to roll your earn income (or other downtime rolls) here for posterity. I will let you record the results of those on your chronicles yourself.

![]() |

Earn Income:
Giles Crafting (T): 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (7) + 5 = 12
or not. I'll collect my meager 2cp and go home after this, lol.

![]() |

Kat is invited to speak about Warfare and Battle Medicine.
Warfare Lore: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (5) + 4 = 9
The talk is a flop and Kat walks away with 2cp...

Edogawa will investigate a few of his leads on people he is hunting down, while out and about.Underworld Lore: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (5) + 8 = 13.
It seems the sea is not a good place to be looking for land-bound thieves.
Otherwise it was good times all. thanks for the game.
