Life is rough right now, we have had 14 fights at school in the past week or so, kids are vandalizing the building and stealing stuff from teachers. And now parent advisory wants teachers to teach students how to behave.

Doesn't that in turn run into the issue where, if the parents feel that how the teachers discipline their kids is "excessive" (even if it's not), the accusations of abuse start flying?

Yup, or that we are forcing OUR values on them. We cannot even get them to submit assignments on time or to hit TURN IT IN in Google Classroom, not we are supposed to teach them how to behave. Parents don't support us in that, much less in teaching their feral children how to behave.

Hey all, I have some bad news.

Life is intruding in a big way right now. I have some personal stuff that's making it increasingly difficult to post in games, and the fact that I have overbooked myself the last month or so is only exacerbating the issue. I am finishing up the scenarios I'm already in, but I have to bow out of the rest of the round-robin.

I know it's really last-minute, since we were just about to start up Pathfinder Trials, and I feel terrible about it. I wouldn't have come to this decision if I wasn't absolutely certain that I need to do so. I had a lot of fun and I hope to play with you all again in the future (maybe even run, who knows!) and I hope this doesn't screw up the rotation too badly.

I'm sorry to hear your life has been getting difficult. Here's hoping it clears up soon, and if you want I'm more than okay with keeping a spot open for you to come back later!

That's one thing I truly don't enjoy about some school systems. There's not trust or support from parents to teachers, but still and expectation they do their jobs perfectly.

You can't expect someone to teach your kid how to act but not trust their values or give them power to punish (within reason of course)

You'll have to give me a few days to get it sorted. I don't mind stepping up. My wife is now out of hospital. I will have to follow the advice on our discord for setting up the game and such. I have much sympathy for teachers! I timed my exit from the profession quite well. My work schedule isn't looking too heavy next week - I only have one press release to write on Monday on top of the normal stuff.

Well, Channary (or Ysoldt) won't be back until the 23rd anyway...

Ya. They have vanadalized all but one of 16 boys bathrooms by either destroying soap and paper towel dispensers, to plugging the toilets and flushing. They started on the girls bathrooms yesterday I believe.

To those who have done this before - To create a GM alias, do I make a new PFS character and just call it a GM Thing?

My Account --> Account Settings --> Messageboard Aliases box --> Create New Alias.

This also might come in handy. It's a modification of the current macros -- I just added dice expressions for use with Discord (Rollem).

Add New Thread

Subject is the table name.
You need to add some text or it won't create the thread.
Select "create campaign for this thread".
Click the Discussion tab. select "create new thread (or something similar).

After you've created the Thread, click on "campaign", then "edit campaign". Under the short description, you can add the links for the slides, etc.

That's really not going to help. Might actually make it worse, even if the kids are acting like babies...

Yup, you can still spellstrike like any other vanilla magus as well.
