Sorry for the slow response. A water line broke and flooded the upstairs bathroom which clasped part of the downstairs bathroom ceiling. It has been a hectic few weeks in my house. But we are getting all that fixed.

If you have any questions about the area you all are in let me know. This section of street is mostly residential but there is a potion shop across the street.

Hope everyone is doing okay, I've put this off for far too long and I think it's best I bow out of this game ( and others I'm on), I just keep forgetting to come to the forums to check and post and when I do I just post the bare minimum, It's become a chore that I don't look forward to, and me not posting and holding things up isn't fair to the other players or the GM.

Nothing against any of you, absolutely not, you're the best.

Definitely pause. We seem to be getting near the end so itd suck to have to stop altogether because Telias cant effectively b&#*#%&~ his way through the constructs.

Charlize should be ready :) Still going through the posts, but I'm very impressed on how the party persevered after some people dropped from the game. Sad that Sithe also left (maybe she can come back some day?) as I'd love to see how a survivor plays!

@Martin: maybe Martin and Charlize could know each other? She's basically a stunt double on the theaters, and a vagabond of the streets. This doesn't seem to mesh well with his more noble-looking background (plus, Aldori) but maybe, as a scholar, he got to know her when he went to see a play, and they talked on backstage about the crimes going around the city? I'm not sure what the GM is planning, just trying to kick some ideas.

That sounds plausible, Charlize. I guess we can wait for the GM to let us know how we get introduced to the Party. They seem to be in the middle of a fight right now.

Couple options.

The three targets of the painting murders are all well known art critics.

Asheron Coyl was the first and he is dead, known to patron adventuring parties. If you want that to be your in then I can share more info. As his servants are still alive.

The next is Belfor Vittanis. He survived. Well know art critic and patron of up and coming artists. He is a socialite and the others met him at a party he was throwing's, filled lots of people with more money than sense. A mixture of merchants, artists, and nobles.

Eleazonna Gertwright was the last target. She was in bed when the fighting on the lawn woke her and her wide up. She invited the party in for a bit. She was the last one in contact before the party moved on to this new house.

Then there is the Vault of Abadar. Followers of Abadar who act as another district guard. There was one paladin who was with the group when they were fighting on Eleazonna Gertwright's lawn. They took the rather well known rake, Darius Finch, into custody.

Darius Finch is also an in. As he is a well known rake with friends in all the circles of Absolom. He was at Belfor Vittanis's party. Borrowed a carriage from random noble named Lady Tillanda. Vanished for a little while into the night then encountered the party while dropping off the parting at Eleazonna Gertwright's home.

As well you could have seen the fighting and followed. As a lot of people were watching from their homes.

And I am open to other ideas if you have them

If you want us to join quick, then the last option seems the best. We just need a reasonable justification for butting into the affair.

I echo Martin. However you prefer, GM, we will make it work :) Assuming Martin and Charlize maybe know each other from the theater and could be talking outside at that point, maybe they'd have seen the commotion and got involved.

Whichever you both prefer. I have no issues bringing you both in now or spending sometime working g out the details

This has all taken place in one night so you both could be early risers and out walking before for the sun comes up. Or could have been at the party and when you left you spotted the others either fighting in the lawn or breaking into the house they are currently in.

Hmmm, breaking into a house after a fight in the streets? Perhaps we will follow them to see whose story is correct.

I'm all for following as well. Plus the appetite to play, of course ;)

Posting it on all my games - unfortunately I will have to take a hiatus due to some complications at work. I'll be extra busy for the next 6 to 8 weeks, and instead of limiting myself to a single post or two per week, I will instead just fully take a break from the forums and some other activities.

My profound apologies to GMs and my fellow players, as well as the players from the games I host. This came today a little out of nowhere (talk about mondays) as a push for the last quarter of the year. Please, feel free to bot my characters, replace if I can be waited, whatever you see fit. I hope we get the chance to play again in the future no matter what!

ill get a post up sometime in the morning. Work has been exhausting just trying to get the time.

I'd say maybe recruit another. As far as Sithe, like you said it would be an appropriate point to replace her if needed, and the party didn't really make overly strong connections since this has all happened in one night.
